Years ago, I decided that I wanted to be a great sci-fi (or just fi) writer. The only problem with that ambition was that I had no idea how the industry worked or how to enter into it, and in fact I still don’t. But, logistics aside, the first step towards achieving this ambition was, to my mind, understanding the works of the great sci-fi writers that came before me and who would, of course, simply serve as an introduction to my far greater and superior work, once it would be published, ensuring me everlasting fame and special treatment. I quickly came to realize that there were only really a handful of seminal sci-fi works and that the rest were simply derivatives of them.

Like, Tolkien brought back orcs and goblins and remade elves into some sort of Hyperborean race of ancients. And this spawned an entire genre of imitators. But very few works or franchises ever stepped past the parameters that Tolkien sketched out a century ago in his mega myth.

Dune is another seminal work that became a staple for its genre.

Star Wars with its desert planet and mysterious magical orders wielding swords took a lot from Dune. Even Warhammer 40K took a lot from Dune, with its God Emperor concept, and the archeo-futurist setting i.e., a distant future where technology is advanced but people live in feudal societies under theocratic despotism. But where did these writers and franchises that everyone copies in their spin-off works get their ideas from? My investigations of WH40K, in particular, took me to the ancient Greek myths. I was reading both concurrently over a period of many years, actually, guided by a cascading avalanche of synchronicities that guided my research.

As I often mention in my essays, almost all of the Primarchs and Astartes are references to some ancient tribe or culture described in the Hellenic material and in the British occult revival. The material isn’t even disguised, they even use the exact same names for everything, so you can just google it all if you had even the slightest ounce of curiosity in the material beyond buying overpriced figurines to paint.

So:

• Horus Lupercal i.e., the rebel version of Horus is a Crowleyite concept. And the Luna Wolves (homeworld: Chthonia — a hollow moon) of the 16th legion are the wolf-brigand brotherhood that founded Rome.

• The Word Bearers and their home planet of Colchis is a reference to a real place in the Argonautica, modern Georgia on the map, where a tribe of exiled Egyptians set up a kingdom.

• The home world of the Dark Angels, Caliban, is a reference to Shakespeare’s land of sorcerers, and the Watchers are … literally just the Enochian Watchers, who guard Luther after his failed rebellion in the setting … which … it really cannot get more on the nose than that.

• And on it goes.

Good sci-fi references a lot of occult and ancient pagan material, is my point.

And so, to be able to write something original, you have to study the occult and the ancient pagan material yourself, and to participate in the investigation. That is to say, this material is incomplete, filled with gaps and partial reconstructions, so it must continue to be investigated. And, it needs to continually be put into modern language so that the core ideas of the myth are passed on to the next generation and don’t die out.

This is also perhaps the core reason why I dislike the neopagan movement — because it treats these materials as the source for a Platonic-style religion, one based on blind, rote memorization and obedience, instead of as an active investigation into the ancient mysteries. They also don’t care for adaptations based on the material, demanding a kind of religious purity of depiction which stifles creativity.

These blog essays are basically my writer’s notes, the conclusions that I’ve come to in my investigations as I flesh out and try to understand the ancient lore, explain the references that previous sci-fi authors were making and try to figure out what I can contribute to the investigation of the pagan mysteries that is unique, timely, and genuinely revelatory. Eventually, I hope to put it into a narrative that will introduce a new generation of youth to the wonders of the ancient pagan world and to make Christians and Scientismists seethe. This is how I got “initiated” into the material — by reading sci-fi that is, and that is how we can keep the old ways alive into the future as well.

I feel like I am nowhere near ready to write anything yet myself, because there is just so much material to wade through and to try and decode and truly understand. The Worms of Arrakis are probably the most iconic element or image associated with the Dune franchise. But what if I told you that they appear in the historical records of actual events that occurred on our planet?

Yes, during Ardashir I’s campaigns to establish what we will come to call the Sassanid Dynasty of Persia/Iran, a giant magical worm plays a key role in the story.

The Wikipedia account of the Worm of Haftvad recounts the story fairly well.

The Worm, which dwarfs elephants in size, is basically the power behind the throne of Ardashir’s rivals, the Haftvads. And its magic lies in its ability to exercise prescience i.e., it can use foresight to predict Ardashir’s plans and to thwart them. Every time that Ardashir tries to move against the throne, the worm is able to predict what he will do and counter it. Ardashir’s armies are unable to make any headway.

This is exactly like the God-Emperor of Dune, a worm-human hybrid, who sees the plots that are arrayed against him using the power of prescience and is always able to quash them because of that foreknowledge:

But an insider from within the Haftvad camp warns Ardashir about the worm and its powers via a message tied to an arrow. They urge him to focus on eliminating the worm first if he is to have any success in his campaigns against the Haftvads. And so, using deception, he sneaks into the fortress disguised as a merchant, intoxicates the guards and pours molten metal down its mouth when it comes time to feed it. This sets off an earthquake as it enters its death throes and Ardashir and his men brutally torture and kill the Haftvad family soon after.

Hidden in this story is, of course, a political-religious narrative depicting a future ruling dynasty destroying an older, chthonic order.

Ardashir, son of Sassan, is credited with imposing Zoroastrianism in the land against the older system of paganism held by the Parthian knight families, who were organized in royal houses and who ruled in a kind of confederate structure of government.

Ardashir’s political agenda would be targeted at bringing them to heel with his new Totalitarian religion. Here is a summary of all that:

Nevertheless, in this narration the most crucial event of Ardašīr’s life as a king is his fight against *Haftobād, whose power derives from the possession of a giant worm. The name of the defeated king may derive, should one accept Henning’s etymology, from an old title describing the feudal lord of the seventh part of a province (*haptah^ṷa-pātā > haftaxōpāt > *haftaxōbād > *haftobād > haftwād). This part of the narration is clearly set in the southern part of Pārs near the borders of Kermān, and the geographical names mentioned have been discussed in detail and identified by Henning (1968, pp. 140-43; cf. Grenet, 2003, pp. 31-33), who partly relies on J. Marquart’s earlier work (Ērānšahr, pp. 43-44).

Kāriyān, the seat of Ādur Farrbay, the priestly fire, was located in this area, and, according to the German scholar, the legend of the worm derives from the presence on the coast of a Nāga cult of the Indian type, which was felt as a ‘thorn in the eye’ by the Zoroastrian clergy.

Once again, we are speaking about an old and persistent theme found across the ancient mythologies — the war against the old, chthonic snake powers of the Earth. I have made this ur-story a staple of my blog, and I encourage new readers to read up on this concept first. Here:

In this case, the snake/naga cult of Iran was slated for extermination by the Zoroastrians, just like it was targeted in the Greek world by the Platonists (admirers of Zoroaster) and their Pythagorean predecessors.

Snakes are quite literally “demonized” in Zoroastrianism, just as they are in Judeo-Christianity and Platonism.

Of course, the snake-spirit is the chthonic folk spirit par excellence.

There are also the most common form of spirit that you can observe in the natural world just around and about. Well, I say that you can just see them, but that assumes that you’ve either learnt the trick of using spirit sight, developed a debilitating case of schizophrenia, or simply took the right hallucinogenic drugs to be able to see the snakes.

They look something like this:

Most spirits look like shimmering snakes with heads that appear in your vision the way that floaters might.

Graham Hancock has popularized this idea in recent years with his numerous Joe Rogan appearances in which he recounts seeing the snake daimons during his numerous Ayahuasca drug trips. Here:

That is also why spirits are literally depicted as such in surviving ancient artwork, which the Judeo-Christians and Zoroastrians tried to smash. And these snakes were considered the rare form of good deities that brought health, luck, protection and even the tidings of deceased loved ones. This is in stark contrast to the high pantheon of gods that include Zeus and Thor and the rest, who are constantly raping humans, stealing from them, wrecking their ships at sea and so on with gleeful sadistic abandon.

Neopagans, unsurprisingly, hate the snake stuff and will condemn you as metaphysically evil for even bringing it up. This is because you can take the neopagan out of Church, but you can’t take the Church out of a neopagan, apparently. Most neopagans are actually just neoplatonists wearing a skinsuit, and they believe that seeing and interacting with spirit-snakes is also metaphysically evil and “Goetian sorcery”, which is why they ban it.

Neoplatonism is mostly based on an invented pseudo-mystical practice called Phantasia, which just means imagining the things that a priest tells you to imagine in your head using your mind’s eye, and eschewing all other forms of mysticism by labelling it as degenerate or impure and debauched.

Anyway.

The most famous name for the snake spirits were the Agathodaimones.

And we even retain some semblance of this memory in our popular cultures, where we depict ghosts and spirits with human faces, but snake-like appendages where their legs should be.

The game is also filled to the brim with arcane occult lore, delivered in the form of 19th century theories on medicine and disease, that I could devote several essays to explaining.

How do they call upon the menkhu, the faithful of a Warden kin? Known by their hands, for they are butchers; known by their eyes, for they are surgeons; they who follow the lines; they who are the leaders of the Kin; they who speak to udurghs; they who know the secret art of haruspicy. What is a haruspex? Reading the future in the entrails, he knows that a body bears semblance to the Universe. His scalpel follows the lines of the body; his steps follow the lines of his kin’s fortune. A haruspex that can tell a true line from a false one is entrusted with power. A haruspex who is confused by his path gets buried into the deep black flesh of the Earth.

This is not an essay about a video game, mind you.

In the same way, I’ve never actually written essays about WH40K or Star Wars, I just use them as familiar memetic templates, references that people might use to better understand what might otherwise be a difficult, abstract concept. The only problem with using Pathologic in the same way is that none of my readers have heard of it. So, forgive me if I have to explain the premise of the plot a bit to make the whole thing coherent.

First things first, the thesis that I am advancing here today is that plague comes out of Earth itself. That is what “Telluric” means — the earth. You’ve heard of Tesla’s telluric currents? No? Never mind then. This idea — the Telluric origin of disease — is an old pagan one, and a 19th century staple, but it has been replaced by modern superstition and backwardsness in the field of medicine. But the wise ancient Hellenes believed that Miasma was the source of disease. Basically, toxic vapors rose out of the earth and made people sick. The cause of these toxic vapors was explained in religious language, so they are dismissed by modern science today.

I do believe, however, that if we look past the language of the time, with its frequent references to gods and spirits, the fundamental theory is quite sound and easy enough to verify with modern scientific methods.

Take antibiotics, for example.

Do you know what they are and how they work? Trick question — we don’t really understand antibiotics, we simply see the positive results from imbibing them. There is a lot of debate about what exactly they do in the body to make us feel better, believe me. Is their primary benefit derived from them killing off bacteria in our bodies or suppressing cytokines and reworking neurological responses? Another example: some people have figured out that antibiotics like tetracyclines reduce nitric oxide in the blood and muscles, decreasing inflammation by doing so. But this is already considered a controversial statement to make, because the medical consensus on NO is that it is beneficial for the body, in much the same way that serotonin is believed to be the “joy” hormone, when in reality it is a distress signal. Much of modern science has inverted the discoveries of the early 20th and late 19th centuries, probably for nefarious purposes.

Now, where are antibiotics derived from? The original (re)discoveries of the early 20th century into the 50s and 60s were samples of dirt filled with bacteria. The bacteria in the dirt would create chemical weapons of a kind to battle other bacteria and claim more dirt for themselves. These weapons that they’d shoot into the soil were harvested, strained and concentrated and then called anti-bacterials or antibiotics. When imbibed, they seemed to perform the same function in the body that they did in the earth — they killed off bacteria.

This, briefly, is the abridged story of how we rediscovered antibiotics fairly recently.

Bearing all this in mind … is it really that difficult to understand the Telleuric origin of disease hypothesis?

Just … just take the next logical step to come to the same conclusion as the ancients.

The Terrain of Terra and the Holographic Human Body

The basic premise of a Telluric origin for disease is based on the same logic and reality of antibiotics. So, if there are bacteria that are producing “biochemical weapons” to fight each other in a kind of epic, globe-spanning total war, they’re also liable to produce “biochemical weapons” that are harmful to the health of the creatures that live above. That is to say, if antibiotics are beneficial to us, there are probably substances that come out of the earth that are not so beneficial as well.

The Ancient Greeks and all animistic culture besides, believed that the Earth produced pathogens, essentially. That these pathogens then entered the water supply, into other animals lower on the food chain, and then the air eventually in some cases. The airborne plagues were the worst, for obvious reasons. In Pathologic, the local steppe culture believes that the plague is being caused by Shabnak-adyr.

But we have our equivalent plague deities in the real world, like Nergal/Nurgle and Apollo or Rudra (in the Vedic material).

Yes, they all have horns. But I’ve spoken at length about horns and will do so again in my Chthonian mega-essay eventually.

Now, in the 19th century, the Telluric origin theory for disease was quite popular.

There is overlap with the so-called “Terrain” theory of disease that you see popularized on alt-health blogs now in response to COVID, but the connection is only tenuous at best. Most modern alt-health neo-Terrain theory subscribers are very anti-antibiotics because they think that the war analogy or metaphor for how antibiotics work is morally evil. I kid you not, they eschew life-saving, effective and natural medicines like antibiotics because it violates their New Age, neo-Buddhist pacifist principles in much the same way that vegan will eschew healthy milk products and honey and meat.

In this, they are joined by the big pharmaceutical companies that constantly sound the alarm about the threats of antibiotics use, the so-called antibiotic resistant bacterias that miraculously only seem to occur in those charnel houses that they call hospitals and the like. The need for new antibiotics to treat hospital-generated infections is a lucrative business that justifies new antibiotics laced with halogens (fluoride, chlorine) to make them more “permeable” i.e., to shred people’s intestines.

Most people will blanch at any positive mention of antibiotics as a concept and accuse you of shilling for Big Pharma. The irony of this being that antibiotics are literal magic dirt bacteria that has been used by humanity for thousands of years, forgotten about during the Judeo-Christian occupation period, and then immediately rediscovered within a century of the scientific renaissance in Europe. And the originals are generics now, and so drug companies make next to no money at all on selling old penicillins or tetracyclines and the like.

Of course, if you take even a passing interest in the original 19th century Terrain theorists, they are essentially an offshot of the original Telluric school of thought. I mean, even “Terrain” is a reference to “Terra” i.e., the Latin name for Earth, or Gaia if you prefer the Greek. They essentially took the ideas concerning the Earth being the origin of disease (the Telluric) and applying the principle of fractal correspondence (as above, so below) they said that the human body was essentially the same thing as the Earth.

You’ve heard it said that the Amazon or some other forest is the “lungs of the Earth”, right? Well, the thing about that is, the world was seen to have characteristics that it shared with the human body in the pagan world. This correspondence or fractal pattern resonance is sometimes referred to as a “holographic” phenomenon in modern alt-science parlance.

The best way to illustrate this is to simply reference Pathologic again. There, the town setting is sectioned into “organ” districts like “the Gut” or the “Liver”.

The story leaves you hints to figure out that the entire town is essentially shaped like a cow, the patron animal and deity of the steppe people.

And you see this kind of animal-like fractal correspondence in the real world too.

But you kind of have to squint and unfocus your eyes to see it.

Why bring this up?

Well, because the idea that the earth (Terra) and the human body might be fractally connected is not such a strange idea when you simply study the pagan mindset … or the writings of brilliant European savants from the 19th and early 20th century either.

Putrefaction and the Noxious Effluvia

There is a constant biochemical churn in the soil and the marshlands and in some other bodies of water. That churn produces harmful pathogens given the right conditions such as too much heat, too much moisture, too much heat and too much moisture together … or mass biological decay i.e., the rotting corpses of living things caused by something or other.

Conceptualizing the Premise of Cybernetics

Understand that cybernetics positions itself as the science that can explain (and control) everything. Basically, think of how statistics can be applied (or misapplied) to all fields and categories of classification. You can do a statistical analysis of everything from apple tree yields to CPU processing power to a given nation’s women’s average weight and back hair count to gain statistical insights into our shared reality. So long as you can somehow quantify something, make it into a countable number, you can run statistical analysis on it. This same thinking applies to cybernetics. If we grant the cyberneticists their assumption that everything is a “feedback loop”, then everything can be explained as a series of inputs that trigger reactions and then an adjustment that can be mapped out and understood.

What then is the human brain to the cyberneticists?

It is a self-correcting feedback loop system. It doesn’t really matter to the cyberneticist what tissues compose the brain wrinkles or how neurons are transmitted, they simply want to be able to map out, predict and ultimately control the end product. And how do they go about doing this?

Simple enough: they just apply brute computational force to solving the problem.

So, first they have to be able to extensively map out all the possible inputs that can stimulate their “feedback loop” system (the human brain or anything else). Then they observe the reactions and catalogue those as well. Finally, after having mapped out all possible inputs, all possible reactions, and the compensatory/synthesis result, they will have mapped out the reality of the closed loop system in question.

What then is social media?

Putting aside the profit motive (these companies were never profitable), the closest explanation that makes sense to me, is that these were essentially data farming operations. The basic premise of the project was that people were given inputs and asked to react to them with likes and dislikes and other forms of engagement. Giant data servers were dedicated to running through all of this harvested data, cataloging it, and then mapping out the entire “feedback loop” of the human mind in toto.

Think about the LLMs or so-called Artificial Intelligences that we interact with now to get out of doing drudge work and drafting emails.

How do they work?

Simple: the LLM is nothing more than a compiled giant catalogue of pre-programmed inputs and expected reactions. The tech companies have fed trillions of digital interactions that took place on the internet, mostly on social media, to the AI and gave it a probability calculator. Basically, you give it a prompt X and it spits out Y, with Y being the probability that this is the answer that you are seeking for based on previous such interactions. The LLM doesn’t think for itself, it simply scans past conversations and interactions and gives you the most “upvoted” or common response that other, living people have provided in the past to the prompt that you gave the LLM in the present.

So, in the past, you may have had an interaction with someone where they asked you what year WWII ended and you may have told them 1965 just to mess with them. If your comment had gotten a lot of support and attention, the LLM would mistake that for being the “correct” answer and spit out 1965 when asked the same question. This doesn’t happen because your answer is weighted out in the sea of “1945” answers and because the programmers similarly weigh sources like Wikipedia heavier. But still, the premise stands. And the correct answer is that WWII never ended really …

Now think about the current “digitization” efforts of our globalist overlords.

What they are doing is essentially creating more inputs to feed into their machines so that they can map out still more human behavior. If everything is digitized, from the buttons that you push on your car, to the coffee machine you use at home, to a pair of SmartGlasses that tracks where your eyeballs dart during the day, then their map of reality starts resembling something from The Matrix.

Again: they don’t seek to understand the phenomenon that they’re mapping out, really.

They’re just trying to capture and quantify it using their “feedback loop” model. Why bother to try and understand the “how” and “why” of how a rose blooms? You can just map out growth rate times depending on soil, temperature, cloud coverage and weigh the probabilities to create a total “feedback loop” predicting the plant’s behavior.

In the Matrix films, we learn that the Architect kept failing to create a perfect cybernetic system of control because of a “remainder” that he could never truly account for.

This is only partially a metaphor.

In basic math, you have “numbers” that cannot truly be accounted for — we call them “Irrational” numbers, remember? My essay on this and the Pythagorean Brotherhood conspiracy would really come in handy right about now. In it, I explain the “war” between Phi v Pi based math and how anything to do with Pi was coded as “snake-like” and “chthonic” and “evil”, by the old mathematicians and Phi-enthusiasts.

To simplify for the purposes of continuing the thought thread of this essay, some numbers are irrational. Think of Pi, which can never truly be mapped out mathematically, only approximated or conceptualized abstractly because Pi’s decimal points run out to infinity. In the Matrix, the Architect essentially laments that there are these “remainders” in the equation of life that he cannot truly account for or code into his system. Neo is the anthropomorphisation of this “chaos” then — he is “the remainder” of repeating numbers symbolized in human form for the purposes of making an action movie.

Now, Cybernetics is not anywhere near the level of control that the Architect has achieved with his program.

But they are endlessly running up against the same problems and the same critiques.

Despite all the criticisms leveled their way, they plow on ahead regardless. More and more gigantic power-hungry data centers are being built all over the world, but mostly the United States, to fuel the need to suck in and map out the entire map of human behavior via its conceptualization as “feedback loops”. I do sometimes wonder if Trump’s erratic behavior can be explained, at least in part, by the need to relocate enough energy production to the mainland of the United States to fuel these giant data farms at the behest of the cybernetic oligarchs who helped put him into power. But that’s just a schizo hunch on my part.

Now, that was all just the conceptual part.

Next, we move on to the criticisms and the spin-offs.

The Occulted Potential of Cybernetics

Last time, to intrigue my readers into paying attention to what otherwise was a dry and dark field of elite machinations, I talked about all the magical overlap between Cybernetics and, well, magic.

On the most banal level, the people who created computers and computer systems used the language of magic. So, background running processes were called “Daemons”. The task manager or guided installation type windows that you used to have to use to install computer games were called “Wizards”. As you dig deeper, you learn about “Oracles” which are essentially decision-making programs that some weirdos believe are semi-sentient because they behave erratically on occasion.

Basically, when an LLM needs to weight potential answers to your query and make a decision about what to spit out, it is using “oracular” decision making. No one actually entirely understands why the LLM gives the answer that it does, and this is unease is the source of those articles that you see come out on sites like Zerohedge or other doomer-boomer-alarmist exploitation operations to sell overpriced gold and silver. Occasionally, a programmer admits that these “oracles” behave as if they were semi-sentient or at least, more accurately, they behave unpredictably, and this gets conflated with sentience.

We can speculate on why this is occurring.

These “Oracles” are part of “Black Box” systems and a Black Box is a Kabba i.e., that little black box that Jews wear on their foreheads and that ominous cube that Muslims pray to. Again, the cyberneticists who created modern computer systems decided to use mystical language to describe their work. This raises eyebrows, to say the least:

So, first, take a random number generator and the number that is generated by a computer. Ask yourself: how is this process done? How do you code for true randomness? Well, put simply, you can’t generate random numbers with software — you can only approximate the process.

Previously, we touched on the Sword — Air suite and that information will be very important to remember in future essays.

Today we will touch on the Wand — Fire suite and the origin of Sympatia-based ritual magic systems.

As usual, I ask for the suspension of disbelief from my readers while reading this essay. That is, I’m NOT asking you to believe in any of this, and I don’t think that I myself believe in any of this. But I do want to explain the mindset of the ancients and that requires explaining the internal logic behind what they were doing. To my knowledge, no modern-day self-styled internet magician or neopagan or whatever is capable of doing any actual ritual magic. Most of them are simply too close-minded and superstitious and ungrounded in their thinking to even approach the topic with any honesty or due diligence whatsoever. This is unfortunate because unlike modern Scientism or Christianity, most pagan religious or social rites are quite intuitive, logical and do not need to be accepted on faith or blindly cargo-culted.

Instead they simply cry out to be understood.

Once you accept a few metaphysical givens about the worldview of these people, their behavior becomes actually quite easy to understand and extrapolate further.

Like: even a Jedi’s supernatural actions in Star Wars don’t shatter our suspension of disbelief so long as they don’t break any of the internal rules of logic established at the beginning of the story and/or previous episodes. Yes, we have to grant the Jedi the existence of “the Force” to have their actions make any sense. But, having granted them that, if the Jedi behave consistently and in line with the rules about how the Force works, well, we sometimes forget that we are watching a movie, and that this is a fictional world set in a galaxy far away.

Now, I should have probably chosen a Harry Potter theme today, seeing as the “Elder Wand” was such an important part of the plot of the last two movies … but I just don’t like Harry Potter enough to draw on it. I find the material to be tainted by Christian metaphysical inversion to levels that make it simply unenjoyable..

I mean, surprise surprise, the snake-guy seeking immortality and forbidden knowledge is the evil one, right? How original. Where have we heard that exact story with that exact moral inflection before? The witches and wizards of the setting are clearly the thinnest of veneers set over a story of post-WWII neoliberalism values, Judeo-Christian morals and anti-chthonic themes.

Also, the magic system in Harry Potter has absolutely no logical consistency to it. What governs the magic that is used in the settings? How is it controlled? What determines the power level of a wizard? How is skill and rank in the magical arts measured? What even is magic in this setting?

None of these answers are hinted at or provided, nor is this deducible.

I like my fantasy and sci-fi to be part of a thinly veiled pagan occult disclosure agenda not just a form of escapism and internet sub-culturism. Judging from the fact that most of the fans of the Harry Potter series are overwhelmingly women, that most fan-fiction set in the Harry Potter universe is soft-core pornography, and knowing that a woman wrote the books (some of them, at least), I suppose it should be very clear why the series falls so flat and short on so many fronts.

Sadly, when people think of wands, they think of Harry Potter, but the wand lore in the series won’t be of any use to us … except for one curious scene in the very first movie which we will return to later in the essay.

Now, why is a wand the symbol of Fire in the Tarot?

You won’t find this answer googling around, but you can try anyway and the closest you’ll get is that the wand is a penis and penii are hot and straight when aroused or something inane and Freudian like that. But no, wrong, the Fire — Wand association comes from the story of Prometheus and the very first wand that brought Olympian fire into our world.

The Wand of Fire and the Hollywood Effect

The Elder tree has an interesting folklore story to it.

First of all, it was accorded wary respect and there were religious prohibitions on using it for non-prescribed purposes. Later, under Abrahamism, the tree became associated with Satan and witches, because of course.

Now, the older Germanic word for Elder (tree) was Ellen. The verb “ellen” or, phonetically ǣlan/ǣled meant to kindle and fire. We also covered (h)Elen in a previous essay about the “shining light/golden radiance” that started the Trojan War, remember? I’m not an etymologist, but both these ancient tongues are from the same root language family and these words sound identical to me. Specifically though, in the older Germanic, ǣlan meant “to set on fire, kindle”. Further back still, we have Proto-Germanic ailijaną (to burn, ignite). And a related noun: ǣled = “fire, flame”.

To illustrate the concept, I have to refer to and draw on related fields instead.

So, in the field of business, or political economy, friendship is most similar to the concept of corruption. And in the field of geopolitics, statecraft and diplomacy, friendship is most similar to the concept of “the state of exception”. You may have heard the phrase, “Sovereign is he who decides on the state of exception,” which is a fancy way of saying that the powerful and independent don’t actually need to follow any rules.

Friendship, similarly, is a kind of privileged status that puts one above the law in relations with others. Put even simpler: a friend is someone who will help you break the law, or simpler yet, a friend is someone one who will break the law to help you. This is the simplest benchmark by which you can evaluate whether someone is your friend or not, by the way. Can you think of any better measure of friendship? I mean, why would you even need a friend if you weren’t planning on committing something illegal?

Because, let’s be real, if you want to do something safe and legal, you always have a woman for that. And, activities that are safe and legal and involve you spending your heard earned money on nonsense are always approved of by the state and are essentially known as “dates”.

Furthermore, on a fundamental level, the basic premise of the social contract is that individuals will no longer need horizontal ties such as community or clan or friend because of their relationship with the state. The state is supposed to take care of all your needs in exchange for your obedience, right? The state keeps you safe, keeps your money secure, ensures that your contracts are upheld, sends a plumber to your door … that is the deal that you (or rather previous generations) made with the Leviathan. Someone who is having his needs met by the state, like a good citizen ought to, has no real need for a friend.

And, like a nosy and insecure wife, the state demands to know where you are going at night and why you are hanging out with those other men … are you not happy or something, why aren’t you happy, are you a subversive of some kind, what are you up over there and wouldn’t you be happier staying at home watching ugly rich women bitch at each other on the TV?

Wasn’t your best friend the kid who you could get into all manner of trouble into together with? Did you hang out with rule-abiding children like the Flanders’ little Christ-freaks (The Simpsons) or did you think they were lame and eschewed their company entirely? Perhaps you sat around talking about your feelings with your friends, braiding one anothers’ hair while you trauma-bonded and talked about what your ideal Prince Charming would look like?

The Scofflaws of Mithra and Other 31st Millennium Myths

Most of history’s most famous friendships have been between fellow outlaws or, at least, scofflaws (men who scoff at the law). The Law is actually the beast against which your friendship with other men is always tested. Men who break the law and put their own interests above others’ have always been considered scum and rightly so. But worse still are the men who ignore their friendships and side with the law against their own kin and betray their closest friends.

Putting the dictate of the law above your friends is, fundamentally, the closest definition of Evil that we can come up with. It is the ultimate “feminine” behavior when broken down and distilled to its component actions. It involves:

• running to a higher authority (like a woman), not standing on your own two feet

• violating the sacred oath of friendship that was sworn either implicitly or explicitly in favor of the slave bond known as the “social contract” that you were grandfathered into with the “Leviathan” state and its self-preserving laws

• passive aggression, enlisting others to do your fighting for you, lack of direct confrontation

The concept of friendship being the highest ideal, and an ideal that runs contrary to, and is an enemy of the concept of The Law itself, is a mystery with deep metaphysical and magical undercurrents. The metaphysical juxtaposition of Law and Friendship as adversary concepts is best exemplified by the preferred deity of late Roman soldiers and Silesian corsairs both, the god Mithra, and what he represented to the soldiers who swore fealty to him and his ideals.

Later on in our history, you would have the various Free Masonic lodges, fellowships of European minor nobles and educated craftsmen committed to overthrowing Christianity and the Imperial yoke of the Roman Catholic Church. They even took the old symbol of the Silesian navy of Mithradates as their symbol going forward (the Jolly Roger, as it is known now, the “Skull and Bones”).

Even later still, in the 31st Millennium, as mankind crusades across the known galaxy, warrior lodges of Astartes meet to plot the overthrow of the Imperium of Mankind.

But before we go there, just in case any of my readers never had any childhood friendships based on getting into trouble, we should cover some famous pagan friendship tales that prove my thesis further.

The Pagan Friendships of Antiquity

In the Ancient Greek world, the model for male friendship was Theseus and Pirithous. These are the pair that abducted Helen from Zeus and took her to Athens, remember? Well, their adventures didn’t start or end there.

The basic story goes like this: Pirithous steals some of Theseus’ cattle, apparently to test him or provoke him. Theseus pursues him, but when the two meet face to face, instead of fighting to the death they are so impressed by each other’s courage and attitude that they swear sacred magical oaths of brotherhood to one another instead. Next, they try to abduct Persephone in the Underworld. Both are trapped in Hades, and later Heracles rescues Theseus but not Pirithous. Eventually, Pirithous is left behind, often permanently, because his desire to seize Persephone is simply too outrageous.

The swearing of oaths is the core to all male friendships, by the way.

They do not have to explicit or ritually formalized though, most of these functions come naturally to us as children and we do not need any formalities to cement them. Sometimes, to openly declare a thing is to cheapen it, I’ve found. But I can recall my own friendships as a child, and each and every one of them started out as fights. One of those children that I fought with bit me on the forearm so hard that I still have one of his tooth indents on my skin now. We became an absolute menace together past that point onwards, and our friendship was only broken up because his mother (whore) decided to divorce the father and move away.

In contrast, another kid that I had been playing with for awhile (Jewish), tattled to his mother that I had choked his little brother out. They made me confess to something I didn’t do and grovel out an apology through clenched teeth. About thirty years have passed since that day, so believe me, I’d confess by now if any of these blood libels were actually true. In reality, the kid had beaten up his own brother and then the two of them had conspired to get out of trouble by blaming me.

Friendship status: ended.

Again: these are not difficult concepts to understand, and, in a healthy society, what I’d be saying here would be so well understood and so intuitive and banal as to be almost unworthy of mention. But … well … here we are.

Another famous friendship that started as a rivalry was that of Lucius Verenus and Titus Pullo, two centurion in Rome’s pagan legions of Mars. For the historical Pullo and Vorenus, we basically have one famous passage in Caesar’s Gallic War and it presents them as rival centurions in the same legion under Quintus Cicero’s command during the Gallic campaigns. Caesar says they had “continual quarrels” over which of them should rank first, and that each year they competed fiercely for promotion. During a battle, Pullo charges out first to prove himself; he gets into trouble; Vorenus goes out to support him; then Vorenus himself is endangered; then Pullo rescues Vorenus in turn.

They then become friends as a result of this episode.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but HBO did a good job depicting this episode.

We can already conclude the following: the very first prerequisite for male friendships is for a feeling of peerage to exist between the two parties. I will cover the practical theory about male friendships in a subsequent essay though, I just wanted to point out this common theme tracing itself through the tales of the ancient pagan world.

Friends are, by definition, peers in at least one mutually recognized area.

What makes friendship so unique in an occult or metaphysical sense is that friendship is truly voluntary in a way that no other relationship can be. Because you have no choice in your parents and your children are bound to you by blood, despite what the Law proclaimed from on high by Organized Vagina would say on the matter. So too, men almost have no control over who they are attracted to, and women possess an aetherial ability of attraction over us. In all the fairytales and myths, this is usually the beginning of a hero’s undoing — the coercive, subversive power of a woman’s attractions, by the way.

In contrast, friendship is NOT erotic — the attraction stage simply does not exist; instead it boils down to a kind of appraisal made between two men of each other that concludes: “you are the sort of man I can oath myself and my fate to because you are my equal in some capacity”.

But with a woman, you are binding yourself with a ball and chain.

She can’t help you or provide support — that’s your job as a man, and she will resent and detest you intensely if you ever slip up or fail in the trials that life throws your way. This is because your relationship with her is that of an officer with his subordinate. Imagine a captain calling up a private to complain about how he feels run down and beset by the weight of his own responsibilities.Such behavior would only elicit disgust and rightly so … now imagine that your private gets to bitch at you and boss you around and send you to your death over the trenches while you get all the blame for your subordinate’s psychotic behavior — that’s marriage for you in 2026, folks!

In terms of relationship rank, there is nothing higher than male friendship. Gods and daimones both help you if you go into a relationship with a female without a good friend to have your back. Pretend you’re talking to a horse, and tell her she’s beautiful, even if she’s not, especially if she’s not:

One of the most resonant themes that I’ve brought up over the years is the crisis concerning male friendships in the modern world. Few men have any male friendships and the situation is clearly getting worse with each subsequent generation. It seems rather obvious what prevents men and boys from being able to form friendship; the problem we face can easily be explained in the negative i.e., by explaining what prevents the formation of friendships.

The War Between the “Men of Woe” and the “She-Men”

First and foremost, women and girls are now shoved into traditionally male-only spaces from a very early age to undermine male bonding. This prevents any male bonding because women enjoy causing competition to break out among men, and work hard to undermine cooperation among men, which they see as threat to their gender. Women essentially operate as a hive mind and they try to enforce this bug-like blind, slave-like obedience on men. All metaphors regarding women make reference to insects and compare women’s behavior to strict totalitarian insect colony societies for a reason. We call matriarchs “Queen Bees”, and her female minions “Want-to-be-bees”, (wannabes) right?

There’s probably a reason for that.

There is also a reason why the Boy Scouts have become just the Scouts, while the Girl Scouts remain the Girl Scouts and don’t let the boys in. They got to keep their spaces, while we lost all of ours. And you know that this is the true purpose of the agenda — to destroy male bonding that is — because of the defeat of men, yet again, in the “Transformer Wars” that defined our culture over the last decade.

Now, at first, I was positively inclined to the whole transformer/she-male movement. As you will no doubt recall, our “Decepticons” started a social guerrilla warfare campaign in which men would dress up in hilarious caricatures of modern females with giant inflated genitals, faces smeared in garish paints, and skirts hitched up high enough to show their hairy asses to the entire world. Now, younger readers might not know this, but for centuries prior to the start of the great Transformer Wars, a man would usually just be thrown into prison for this kind of indecent behavior. But the “men of woe” (women) had overplayed their hand in previous decades by declaring that all difference was illegal and that the genders were literally completely and totally identical in every single way.

This gave men a rare opportunity to counter-attack — a fatal hole (front) in the designs of the enemy was exposed … much like the genitalia of these men, in the aforementioned women’s locker rooms.

Personally, I was breathless with laughter every time a story about a Decepticon defeating women at their own game came out.

These culture war commandos would storm the beaches locker room and toilets and sports teams, their bastions and strongholds, to take the fight to the enemy. In fact, it looked like our brave boys in drag were going to succeed in their mission to break open these privileged safe space women institutions. Back then, our she-male marines were beating the enemy at their own game; taking their goofy little sports participation trophies, rubbing their faces in their own hypocritical liberalisms; we were so close to even passing through legislation that would force women to legally be referred to as Hole #2 or “Front-Holes”, remember?

Could you even imagine how funny it would have been to see the UKistani police grabbing women by the hair and throwing them into their giant mass incarceration dungeons of Democracy? You know, for committing micro-aggressions on she-males by refusing to refer to these hulking ogres as “mi’lady” or something? They were literally already at the level of fining women for hate speech and putting them on police lists for objecting to she-men taking giant, sloppy, sloshy, smelly dumps in their bathrooms.

We were close … so close … to breaking the back of Big Vagina.

Me, I was quite looking forward to being able to bark out “Silence, hole!” in social settings, to a raucous chorus of “you tell her!” and “you go, she-bro!” followed by millennial applause/snapping of fingers. Sadly, the Tradcons and the Feminists (front holes) rallied before we could achieve this great victory in the Culture Wars. Now women have their safe spaces again, and we’re licking our wounds, planning for the next round.

Defeat was snatched from the jaw of victory.

I was there that day, Gandalf … I was there the day that the strength of the she-men failed. Clearly, the social engineers realized that they had gone too far and that they were losing the loyalty of their key golems — Christians and women. A war with Iran to expand the Israeli Empire was planned for the coming years, and so they needed to tone down the social disruption that they were causing long enough to be able to persecute another decade of wars. And to make that war happen, they needed to get the Christians and men of woe, who are experts at moral shaming of normal men, back on board with the agenda. Working with the regime, they robbed men of the only cultural victory that we stood poised to achieve in more than a century.

Point being: the only time that any pushback against the SJW/neoliberal agenda succeeded at all was when women argued that men were having a little bit too much fun exploiting the goofy rules that they themselves had set up to penalize men in the first place. Women were suddenly not having fun any more and so our overlords put a stop to the she-male agenda literally overnight. You literally almost never hear about men in drag any more, do you? No, you usually just hear stories of brave mothers and teachers lopping the genitals of their children off now.

Male Millennial See, Male Millennial Do

More insidious has been the mass adoption of female behavioral traits among men, who are never given masculine male role models or positive male behavioral cues. We saw this with the male social media phenomenon known as “the soylent grin”.

At some point circa 2015, Western men began taking photos of themselves with their mouths agape and eyebrows raised. This was as clear-cut an example as possible of men adopting female behavioral traits. These men saw all the women on social media doing this face and getting praise and attention and gaining social prestige, so they started imitating their behavior. We are lucky that they didn’t start making duck lips, which was also a trend at the time.

The face that they make is so repulsive because it signals immaturity, passivity, and a forced, over the top expression of reckless euphoric abandon. These traits are attractive in a woman, because they make us sexually attracted to them, but perverse in men, for obvious reasons.

Yes, men have started acting like women, and as a result, traits and behaviors that were once attributed to homosexuals are now commonplace among all men who still participate in society. It is difficult for me to tell whether a man is a homosexual or not anymore because most men behave like homosexuals now. Even straight men have adopted the speech and vocal patterns of gay men. You know what I mean — millennials end their sentences on inflections? Like they’re asking a question? Like they’re too afraid of making a statement? Like they’re mentally women, too afraid of breaching social decorum so they hide behind irony? Behind hair-flicking aloofness? Behind, like, ambiguity and coquettishness disguised as social savoir faire?

Like, like, like???

You almost certainly know what I’m referring to and it has made you grind your teeth in sympathetic disgust as well. Fundamentally, what does a homosexual behave like? Well, a homosexual is quite literally a man that behaves like a woman. So, here are just some of the female behaviors that modern men, heterosexual as well, exhibit en masse:

• snitching

• gossiping

• smiling with your teeth showing (that is either a fear grimace or a warning that you will attack soon because you feel threatened)

• voting

• volunteering in the community

• going to church

• going to school

• obeying traffic laws

• driving sober

• changing diapers

• appealing to authority in internet arguments

• using the court system to solve disputes

• calling the police

• taking women seriously

• talking to women

• talking to therapists

• talking to priests

• talking to federal informants (the aforementioned women, therapists, priests)

• talking about feelings

• performative emoting in general

• talking too much

• talking about feelings

• talking about trauma

• talking about relationships

• taking yourself too seriously

• taking orders from women

• taking advice from a woman doctor (you wouldn’t trust a woman to fix your car, fly your plane, but you trust them to fix your body?)

• believing women about anything, frankly

• being skill-less, useless, like a woman

• being humorless

• being a coward

• being “informed”

• being gay

... and so on.

And when men act like women to one another, they cannot attain the state of male friendship. Instead, they also develop a female-style relationship with one another, one based on being catty, backstabbing, double-dealing and gaining social ascendency over others at all costs in lieu of truth, honesty, openness and reciprocity.

And when one man acts like a man and another like a woman, well then … actually, this is essentially the plot of Top Gun, which tells the story of Iceman’s sexual pursuit and successful gay conversion of Maverick as well as the takeover of the American military by an organized cabal of homosexuals. Men in relationships like this always engage in “banter’, which is a form of homosexual (and heterosexual) flirting.

Remember: when a man tries to “bantz” or banter with you, he is trying to have sex with you, nine times out of ten.

It is only when two men act like men with one another that a male friendship can form.

Sadly, for generations now, boys have see women and girls all around them getting praise, getting ahead and being held up as a model of behavior for everyone. As a result, no one knows how they, as men, are supposed to behave and how other men ought to behave toward them. This is a deliberate social engineering, done because girls are generally obedient to authority, brutal social conformists and willing and insidious spies — that’s why healthy boys and grown men hate having to deal with them at school or in the workplace and young boys will naturally refuse to include them in their play.

Now, I’m not saying that women don’t have any redeeming features.

They smell nice (for 3/4s of a month), they laugh at your jokes, and they give you a reason to venture out of your lair on the weekends. Even if you don’t particularly like them, nature engineered an overwhelming biological desire within you to have sex with them and physically punishes you on a biochemical level if you do not do so for too long. There is, frankly, only a very small, blissful period in our lives when we can be completely happy being totally free of them and that period passes far too quickly for us to truly savor it.

Sadly, girls are simply not fun or funny and everyone knows that.

In contrast, there is nothing more fun for men than breaking the rules and committing transgression with their friends merrily laughing alongside them as they do it. Nature has encoded rebellion into out “genes”, and that’s why no man can conceive of anything more fun than getting drunk with their male friends and breaking the rules of society deliberately, in some provocative, socially transgressive way. Deep down on some primeval level., we yearn to be outlaws; we feel the call to spit on the palms of our hands and to hoist up the black flag, calling others to join us in our merry rebellious rampage.

Women do not and cannot understand the male concept of “fun” and “rampage”, because they are conditioned by nature and their own coddled upbringings to always protect and serve the ruling authority. In modern society, that ruling authority is the government, the media and the corporations, which she will always side with against her kith and kin. Women are not actually rebellious, they are actually deeply obedient, but only to their true masters … and that’s why she doesn’t listen to you, your father or to me. She doesn’t respect you or your authority because she perceives (correctly) that you have none. You are a slave, and slaves don’t get respect from women.

Only tyrants and rebels do.

Now this is all well and good and many “culture warriors” have spent the last decade endlessly talking about these same old tired topics over and over again. I’m sure you’ve heard these general complaints about “Feminism” before … as if a 20th century political movement were alone to blame for what is encoded in women on a cellular level. If you possess even a modicum of intelligence though, you’re probably tired of all the same old griping and want to hear something actually interesting, positive, and actionable for once.

Boy, do I hear ya.

Next time, I’m going to talk about the ancient pagan gods of male friendship, how a society based on male friendship looks like, and the means by which male friendships were forged and maintained. But it will be paywalled, so may as well support the blog now.

Do you really think I get anything except trouble and angry emails for keeping it real?

What I am about to say today is far worse of a sacrilege though.

But enough is enough — let me quit dithering and qualifying what I am about to save to assuage and try to reason with the purists who complain about the approach. These people are approaching the material like Christian, not pagans, frankly. Theirs is a faith-based approach, not a scientific, investigative frame of mind. For some people, you can drag them out of Church … but you can’t extract the Church out of their minds.

On the Snake-Titans of the Vedic Sagas

Let us now speak of the civil war in pagan heaven.

With the Norse myths, this story is well-known, even to casuals, probably because of the popularity of Marvel comic books. There, you have the Aesir and the Vaenir warring for the right to rule — you’ve heard of this right? And this war that they have amongst themselves ends in an uneasy truce ... that the Vaenir violate. And with the Vedic material, we have the same war in pagan heaven, between the Devas and the Asuras.

NOTE: this is NOT the earlier war between the Titans and the Olympians being described.

In the Norse material, there is also an earlier Titanomachy equivalent, and the Jotunn step into the role of the primordial Titans, who are defeated by the Norse equivalent to the Olympians — the Aesir and the Vanir. The Jotunn are simply not as fleshed out in the Norse materials, so most neo-pagan nordics don’t know much about them. Most people believe that the Aesir v Vanir split is the Olympian v Titan split. But the Jotunn are quite clearly primordial, Earth-based and chthonic beings whereas the Aesir and Vanir are the same category of being engaged in an internecine conflict.

And in the Vedic material, the Titans are not the Asuras who feud with the Devas, no they are a set of beings referred to as the Ahi — which means “the serpents”. And in the original pre-Zoroastrian Iranian paganism, these beings are referred to as Azi — a dialect variation of ahi — which also means “the dragons”. It will be very important to understand what I am saying about the Devas v the Asuras v the Dragons when it comes time to delve into Zoroastrianism.

These Ahi are fiery spirits, the most famous of which is named Vritra, the great serpent of the earth, guarding the cosmic egg, that Indra slays. This is so clearly Jormungandr or Typhon that I simply do not understand how any serious thinker could fail to see the obvious and glaring parallels.

Where the story gets muddled, is when the Cult of Apollo of Plato’s time swaps out Zeus’s battle with Typhon the primordial serpent for Apollo and makes the snake Python, a descendent of Typhon instead — a form of priestly falsification achieved via duplication (we cover use of duplication in falsifying history in our chronological revisionism essays). This Apollo swap is clearly part of their takeover of the oracle of Delphi, a once-circular temple, built on the “nest” of the slain snake spirit, it’s cosmic egg, and its bones.

So, if the Titans are the Ahi/Jotunn of the Vedic and Norse pagan stories, then there can be no doubt that the later war involves an internal civil war among the victorious “Olympians”, see?

This begs the question: why then does the Hellenic material NOT have a similar civil war story regarding the Olympians as the Vedic and Skyrim material does? Since they are the same stories about the same gods only spread out among the successor kingdoms created in the wake of the Eagle and Thunderbolt campaign of the Yamnaya, they should, with maybe some regional variation, still have the same general plot and structure, no?

Very relevant:

Well, actually, one of the best kept secrets in comparative mythology is that there are indeed traces and echoes of this Asura v Deva/Aesir v Vanir civil war story in the Hellenic material as well.

But you can also see the deliberate priestly efforts to wipe this story out.

And this conspiracy has everything to do with the true identity of the Helen of Troy character.

On the Failed Olympic Coup Against Zeus

The coup against Zeus is another one of those half-hidden Hellenic myths — it only survives in scattered references and reconstructions based on these references rather than as a single full narrative.

The main conspirators usually named are:

• Hera (his wife)

• Poseidon (his brother)

• Athena (his daughter)

They try to throw Zeus into magical chains … not unlike what Zeus did to Prometheus.

But the coup is foiled by one of Zeus’ loyal monsters, a Hecatoncheires. You will recall our discussion of Hecatoncheires, the monsters that Zeus let out of Tartarus to defeat the Titans, in the essay series on the Titan and Giant wars, yes? This one abomination named Briareus intervenes and using his strength, rips the chains off of Zeus.

And here you might be sitting up and taking notice at the names that I listed. You’ve heard of them rebelling against Zeus before, albeit in a different story, and a different context.

Today, we are going to explore the occult origins of the Excalibur legend, the first sword that split heaven from the sea, and the Adamantine chains that bound Prometheus (and the various chinaman Pokemans) in the Caucasus.

But to do that, we have to leave the Isles of the Blessed (now known as the Yoo-Kay) behind, if only for a moment and to set our eyes on the Caucasus instead, the true home of the sword Excalibur. The secret origin story of Excalibur lies hidden in its name. It is a direct reference to the Chalybes — famous magical metallurgists living in the Black Sea region. Excalibur = Ex Chalyber = “of the Chalybes”. In fact, these people became so associated with metallurgy, that their name became a byword for steel in Ancient Greek — chalyps (steel).

And they are mentioned in the tales of Jason and his Argonauts.

Jason and his companions begin their journey in Thrace, either modern-day Bulgaria or Romania now. From there, they sail through the Caucasian Sea (now the Black Sea) until they reach the land of the sorcerers and metallurgists i.e., Colchis in modern day Abkhazia, Kuban, Georgia.

This was a place that had, according to the Greeks, been settled by Egyptian exiles at some point to boot who brought with them their magic. And it was a land already associated with metallurgic magic and the witch Medea, a sorceress dedicated to Hecate. There in Colchis, she guarded the Golden Fleece, the object of Jason’s expedition in the first place. We will return to Colchis in future essays.

And in the 31st millennium, Colchis is a planet of cultists following “the Old Faith”, a primordial system of worship that had been forgotten in most other parts of the galaxy. It is the home planet of Lorgar Aurelian, the wayward Primarch and son of the Emperor:

Now, allow me to explain a wider phenomenon related to mysterious magic- metallurgical cults in the region. We have the Dactyls of Mount Ida on Crete (and Mount Ida in Turkey). Then we have the Cabiri a similar mystery cult on the island of Samothrace. The Chalybes that we have already mentioned in modern day NE Turkey. And the Cholchians — apart from their association with metallurgy, the golden fleece may be a reference (at least partially) to a gold panning technique that involved letting mountain water pass through a sheep wool filter that caught gold dust.

All of them are essentially groups of metallurgist magicians.

Closely associated with smith-gods like Hephaestus (who came from the south), Vulcan (Italy had their own volcano cults) and Prometheus from the Caucasus and its spillover environs. Metallurgy has always been associated with ancient, primordial, chthonic magic.

The Nephilim too, are chthonic. Known for their metallurgy, fiery spirit, and their mountain-fortresses from which they hold out against the onslaught from Yahweh’s jew-angels. What is the true nature of the chthonic connection though? Well, the easy answer is that the chthonic gods that I mentioned above are associated with magical smithing, but that is not the the true answer, only a metaphor at best, or an indicator of where the truth might lie.

The Metallurgist Origins of Magic

Fundamentally, metallurgy is chthonic because you are working with all of the primordial elements of Gaia/Terra to effect a process of transformation. So, you take the element of Earth in the form of ores and subject it to Fire to burn away its impurities and give it shape, followed by controlled amounts of channeled Air which acts as an accelerant and the determiner of the quality/hardness of the metal being produced, before using cold Water repeatedly to temper and test and harden the metal.

These are the same four suites of modern Tarot, which was taken from the four elements of Greek medicine and magic, which were taken from these cults, as far as we can surmise.

There are also two archetypical forms of magic men really — smiths and shamans.

This is a common enough trope in modern fantasy literature — just look at Tolkien’s depiction of Sauron, as a master metallurgist who forged the rings of power and shared his magic with Middle Earth before becoming a kind of dark general.

From the real world, we have the work of ethnographers like Mircea Eliade, a Romanian Fascist, apparently, who did ethnographic studies of Siberian shamanic traditions. It was from his work Shamanism: Archaic Techniques of Ecstasy that I, personally, was introduced to the concept of the magical smith and shaman, and, how the two were merged in the Siberian shamanic tradition.

Usually, when a new shaman is initiated, the following process unfolds.

First, the initiate is usually noticed ahead of time by the previous shaman elder and led through an initiation that involves inducing an intense fever from exposure to cold. Or, alternatively, a boy comes down with an intense fever when he is going through puberty. During this “shamanic illness”, he experiences initiatory visions. These visions include a trip into the underworld, where they come into contact with a metallurgist deity. What happens next is rather … gruesome, or at least it seems so upon your first hearing of the myth.

So the smith deity and his spirit helpers take the initiate and:

• cut his body apart and remove its organs

• the bones of the skeleton are reforged with magical iron alloy; they become unbreakable metal bones imbued with magical powers

  

• the new, augmented body is then surgically reassembled, stronger than it was before

• the shaman is now the master of fire and spirits and metal upon his awakening (most don’t awaken and die of the fever)

This imagery is explicitly metallurgical, underworld (chthonic), and associated with the internal fire of the spirit as well, which is very important to remember for future essays.

So, where does that leave us? Where do we go in our investigation of the pagan occult from here?

Well, the primordial myths surrounding the magical smiths of legend actually provide us with the origin and explanation for all subsequent tropes surrounding magic that have survived into our era thanks to fantasy media, or the renewed interest in the esoteric arts in the last century and some.

It is so, so, so important to understand this.

Magical swords, powerful wands, enchanted mirrors and so on — all of it comes from this magical metallurgic tradition, from these cults of metallurgist magicians and their smith deities. Even the sinister rituals that you Christians think are dedicated to praising Ba’al are derived from much older, magical and metallurgic volcano rites.

In fact, to explain the four suites of the Tarot, something that everyone interested in magic is more or less familiar with, one also has to understand the primordial myths of magic and metallurgy that I have brushed on above. I would now like to explain each of these suites in turn now as we continue in the essay series. And, since we started with Excaliur today, we should stay on the topic of swords

Air — Swords — Judgement — Sky and Sea — Adamantium

To my mind, we must now understand the true primordial nature of the sword and why it is such a revered magical symbol in our imaginations. There are deep primordial mysteries behind the forging of the first sword.

We’ve actually already spoken about the ur-sword, the Harpe, the first sword ever made, forged from Adamantine, and used by Cronus against Uranus in the essay on the wars of the Titans and Giants.

There are many varying depictions of the harpe-style sword, ranging from a sickle to a more Macedonian looking kopis, to a sword with a wavy, hooked tip like we see on the famous renaissance statues.

Not only did a harpe castrate Uranus, but Perseus/Bellerophon then used a harpe to decapitate Medusa.

In contrast, we know almost nothing about the shape or constitution of Excalibur, sadly.

But we can at least dip into the occult teachings to tease out the symbolic meaning of swords. Starting with the suite of Swords, which represents the element of Air in the Golden Dawn tarot.

Note the crown being held up by the sword — this suite is associated with judgment and authority and decision-making. In the same way, Excalibur is associated with judgement of character, discernment and the bestowing of authority. Arthur pulls it out of the stone to prove that he has the right to be king, after all, right?

Well … sort of.

That is just one version of the story. The other version of the story has a lake nymph/naiad, granting him the sword and then taking it back once he dies.

These appear to be two different pagan myths and the one with the Lady of the Lake appears to be the older one.

The latter should be instantly recognizable to us if we’ve been diligently reading my blog essays until now. What other sea lady do we know of emerging from water to grant a hero magical items? Why yes, the nympth Thetis granting Achilles his armor, forged by Hephaestus in his underwater cave grotto, while hiding from Zeus and nursing his wounds after being blasted off of Olympus. Or, Perseus being gifted magical items ahead of his fight with Medusa by the Naiads (fresh water spirits). Or Odysseus being given ship-building tools by the nymph Calypso.

And why do these magical metallurgical items always appear out of bodies of water?

That’s because water is treated as a boundary between worlds, a place where the human realm touches the divine or the underworld, a liminal space. But as Stalkers, you know this already.

I mean, of course, Ukraine obviously sits in the Eurasian subcontinent that is known as Europe.

But, Europe® is a kind of brand that only sits loosely over the contours of what we can see outlined on a map, but which is actually a concept of the mind, not a geographical or historical reality. Put another way, Europe® as it is referred to now, does not mean the Europe that you and I think about when we use the term. Europe® refers to the Kalergi-EU vision for what Europe ought to be transformed into. And, because Europe® is a registered trademark of the Kalergi initiative, they get to decide what is and isn’t Europe®. This extends to countries like Ukraine, which was NOT Europe® until it began to war with Russia, after which it was accepted into Europe®. As an example, Georgia, which is simply neither ethnically, linguistically, historically or geographically part of Europe, nevertheless, is now considered part of Europe®.

People in the West will confidently declare that Russia or Belarus or (until recently) Ukraine are not part of Europe. This, of course, is simply factually mistaken, as anybody with eyes to see can avail themselves to a map, or take the time to understand what PIE language is and why Slavic is as PIE as any other European language.

But the confusion or debate is over whether a country is part of Europe® or not, not about Europe, actually, in reality. With that distinction in place, it becomes possible to understand why countries like Turkey and Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are also now, increasingly, being prepared to be considered Europe® recognized affiliates. You may even recall the old podcasts I did with where we discussed our time working in Kazakhstan. My job was to essentially edit articles written by the court historians of Nur-Sultan (as it was named at the time) into English explaining why Kazakhstan was always part of Europe, historically, and why it should be part of Europe in the future.

This editorial policy absolutely baffled me, of course.

But you learn to block such things out and to just do the job with the least amount of emotional or intellectual investment, same as any other job. And if you’ve ever wondered why Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are now in Eurovision(!!!), this essay might finally reveal to you the real reasons behind their curious inclusion.

Let’s start with from the beginning.

The neo-Europan Man and the Empire of Apollo

Enter: Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi and his manifesto for a “pan-Europa”, written in the wake of WWI.

The symbol that he chose for his project was actually two symbols — the Judeo-Christian cross and the sun of Apollo. This is not controversial or particularly arcane knowledge.

What is controversial is whether or not Kalergis can be considered to be “on the right side of history” by modern political sensibilities. He is both widely admired and widely derided by those trying to score cheap political points against their political and ideological opponents.

On the one hand, his books were burned by the German Nazis for advocating for Jewish rule over all of Europe … but on the other hand, he is condemned by modern Jewish supremacist groups.

I want to step past the ideological confines and simply discuss his agenda and writing, which is sensational enough without claiming that he secretly supported raising taxes on hardworking Iowan farmers or once made pejorative remarks about an assassinated African-American civil rights activist named Harambe who had secret documents that could lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton or something.

… Kalergi was basically trying to create a new Europe — a Europe®, if you will.

His Europe® would be defined, explicitly, as a culture based on the merger of Platonism or “Classical Greek Philosophy” which was usually symbolized with Apollo (the supposed god of rationality and enlightened thinking) and Judaism. This is no sin in and of itself, because he was simply articulating a lamentable historical fact. In other words, his thesis was that European high culture was founded on two hoaxes and two fake deities — a god-rabbi that never existed and a Mesopotamian plague demon.

Well, that’s my particular characterization of Jesus and Apollo anyway.

Again: this was indeed what European high or elite culture was for centuries at that point and what anyone with an education understood the roots of that lamentable and contemptible political project to be.

That being said, there is an older, better Europe, one rooted in the folk and their half-remembered customs that the high culture of Judaism and Platonism had sought to root out and destroy for centuries. I often like to write about this other Europe in my essays on chthonic paganism.

Now, I don’t want to bore you with the boring, entry-level stuff about Kalergi.

Yes, he was part Japanese, part Jewish and part Austrian. Yes, he argued for the European races to be mixed with Africans and Indians to recreate the ancient “Egyptian” race. This, he argued, would usher in a golden age of high culture and peace. But he was not the originator of such a bold idea.

That honor belongs to someone else.

Nietzsche and the Alchemical “Negrofication” of Europa

Nietzsche was Kalergi’s intellectual predecessor and inspiration.

He also made similar arguments and appears to be the originator of the idea/project that we attribute to Kalergi alone now. Let us start with the fact that Nietzsche was made infamous for his racist remarks about native Europeans, deriding the Germans in particular, for being “blond beasts” (no, this is not a compliment) earning him the ire of later nationalists who treated his writings with contempt. It is a bizarre myth that the Nazis were inspired by his work, and this is largely the case of his sister later trying to portray him as something palatable to the new government, despite him being a clear and avowed anti-German racist.

Nietzsche went further still, exalting the Ancient Greeks as his ideal race, and he claimed there were made great by race-mixing with Mongols and Jews. Nietzsche was also an avowed anti-anti-semite and his political philosophy was essentially the “Bronze Age Mindset” of his time. In particular, he saw the Bronze Age Jews of the Torah as a model, along with Bronze Age Greece of course, with Apollo as its symbol. This is already problematic on many levels because Nietzsche’s Apollo does not bear much resemblance to the Apollo of the Greek plays even, let alone to the older plague-Apollo of the Iliad. Also, the exploits of the Jews of the Torah never took place — this was all a concocted fiction written in Alexandria in 270 BC, by copying Greek and other cultures’ myths.

This is what the Gmirkin hypothesis argues anyway, and quite convincingly.

But even if we accept that the events of the Torah did take place, they couldn’t have taken place in the Bronze Age, because the Bible is full of accidental mentions of iron weapons and tools in an era where this was supposedly yet to be discovered!

But let’s try to stay somewhat on topic here today, we have a lot of ground to cover.

A great summary of Nietszche’s bizarre and anti-European racial views with quotes and citations can be found here. First, a summary of his stance on Germans being an inferior race and Jews the master race, which is what stirred so much controversy and got him noticed in the philosophical discussion of his time:

Historically, the myth of the Germanic-Aryan race was formed and promoted by racial theorists such as Gobineau, Wagner and Renan well before the Genealogy appeared. In the Genealogy, Nietzsche was entering the political dialogue of his time, presenting an alternative version of the Aryan master race; a version that would have inflamed anti-Jewish racists.

In the texts, Nietzsche severs the Germanic bloodline from Aryan humanity (”between the old Germanic tribes and us Germans there exists hardly a conceptual relationship, let alone one of blood”), proclaims mixed races instead (the blond beast is at the bottom of all “noble races,” including “the Roman, Arabian, Germanic, Japanese nobility, the Homeric heroes, and the Scandinavian Vikings”) and exalts the Jews over the Germans (”one only has to compare similarly gifted nations - the Chinese or the Germans, for instance - with the Jews, to sense which is of the first and which of the fifth rank”).

Although decades later the Nazis uplifted terms like the “blond beast” to create the illusion that Nietzsche supported Aryan racial supremacy, Nietzsche was, in fact, opposing the actual precursors of the Third Reich, of which Nazi leaders were well aware. Initially, Nietzsche used the term “blond beast” when referring to the state and the Christian church of the Middle Ages.

Nietzsche is very important to understand in the context of Kalergi’s own “Apollonian” ideology, which Kalergi takes from Nietzsche and simply builds and expounds on.

Point being: Nietzsche and Kalergi both advocate for the race-mixing of Europeans to make them more “vitalist” or “illumined/exalted”. The former’s ideal model is the Ancient Greeks, who he believed were a mix of Europeans, Mongols and Semites. Based on this old taxonomy, a fresh mixing would recreate the Uber or New Man of the Bronze Age past in our future. In Nietzsche’s view, we will know that this project has succeeded when the robbing and pillaging and murdering spirit of the Bronze Age Jews of the Old Testament returns to the world stage.

In Kalergi’s view though, the mixing of Europeans with Africans and Mongols would recreate the wise race of Ancient Egyptians instead. In contrast, they would be peaceful and more refined and cultured than the warlike Europeans, who had just concluded the bloody mess that was WWI.

Both had the same end agenda, but they portrayed it in different guises to appeal to the sentiments of their respective times. See, Kalergi was writing in a time of brutality and war, while his predecessor wrote all his main propaganda during one of the longest periods of peace that Europe had ever enjoyed. He derided and denigrated the great and hard-fought peace that Westphalian nationalism and the triumph of secularity over religion had attained in Europe … through the efforts of far greater and nobler men than he could ever hope to be, I might add.

Nietzsche’s hatred for Europeans really shines through in his comparisons of the “inferior” race of European Germans with his “Hellenic-Semitic” ideal.

Thus, in the view of Nietzsche and his colleagues, the original inhabitants of Greece were already very “mixed”. And the immigrants who then gradually “inundated” Greece were also no “purebred Greeks”: even the conquerors had their “Thracian and Semitic elements” - remarkably enough, the very same elements as those of the original inhabitants. The Greeks - according to Nietzsche’s hypothesis of their racial history - did not in fact, migrate into “Greece”: their ethnic identity first originated in the land of immigration itself.

There, they took all the garishly evoked Mongolian, Thracian and Semitic “components into their blood” - including even the “gods and myths”. From this “coupling”, the true Greeks emerged.

Only after this can one speak of a “Greek race”.

And Nietzsche went into great detail explaining his theory of what we might now term “hybrid vigor”.

In his “Notes to ‘We philologists’”, which he intended one day to become the fourth “Untimely meditation”, Nietzsche had gathered material on educational reform, on the criticism of classical philology and on German culture in general. In addition, there are a great many notes concerning the emergence and construction of Greek culture - a process also seen here by Nietzsche as the means and paradigm for any education or culture. The Greeks are “the genius among the peoples” (p. 169 = 5[70]): “Child’s nature. Credulous. Passionate. They live for the creation of genius unconsciously.”

Their creativity - or so Nietzsche assumed - was due to the fact that the conquerors who had fallen upon what was to become Greece had preserved their aggressive energy and had thereby founded their “cultural state” (Culturstaat) upon a “robber state” (Raubstaat).

From the Greek model, Nietzsche derived the basic principle of his Lebensphilosophie (p. 114 = 5[188]): “We must desire that life retains its violent character, that wild power and energy be called forth. The judgement concerning the value of existence4 is the highest result of the most powerful tension in chaos.”

Such a chaos of races and cultures, a chaos put in order by a “master race”, shows up in Nietzsche’s vision of the early history of Greece. It also serves as a model for the future of Europe and its races, including the Aryans

{p. 56} and the Jews. Consequently, it is necessary and fruitful to comment in detail upon these “Notes”.

Kalergi’s ideas, especially those expressed in his book “Practical Idealism” (1925), are even more alarming, because they touched on themes that can only be interpreted as alchemical, particularly in his vision for the creating of this “new European man” i.e., the new Super Man of which Nietzsche spoke about before him.

This process of creating a new, super man is therefore both a kind of mundane selective breeding program and also, an occult metaphysical alchemical process of transformation. Just as the alchemist seeks to transmute base materials (like lead) into something purer or more refined (like gold), Kalergi’s vision involved the “transmutation” of Europe’s cultural and racial identity into something new, and more exalted. This alchemical conceptual process is well-known nowadays thanks to the internet, whereas back then it was still occulted.

It follows a color scheme (we spoke of the Black stage before when discussing the “N-word Sun”, remember?) and it goes something like this:

• Black (Nigredo) – The “blackening” stage is the first step of the alchemical process. It symbolizes decay, corruption, or mortification. In this stage, the material is broken down and reduced to its base elements. This can be seen as a symbol of destruction, death, or the dissolution of the old self or ego in order to make way for transformation. The black stage is about confronting the darkness and the impurities within oneself or the substance being worked on. This stage is often associated with putrefaction, where something must first be broken down before it can be remade into something new.

• White (Albedo) – The “whitening” stage follows the black phase. It represents purification and cleansing. The material undergoes a process of refinement, and its impurities are removed. This stage symbolizes enlightenment, the rising of the spirit, or the clarity and purity that emerges from the previous chaos. Alchemists often likened it to the process of spiritual purification or awakening, where the alchemist’s soul (or the substance) is refined and readied for the next stage of transformation.

• Red (Rubedo) – The final stage is the “reddening” phase, where the material reaches its highest state of perfection. This is when the Philosopher’s Stone (the symbol of ultimate achievement in alchemy) is said to be produced. It represents completion, union, and the manifestation of the perfected self. In a spiritual sense, it could symbolize the realization of the philosopher’s true nature or enlightenment. In the material sense, it’s the transformation of base substances into gold. This stage signifies the integration of opposites (the union of the sun and the moon, or spirit and matter) and the creation of something transcendent and eternal.

Which .. that all sounds well and good and very nice and spiritual, of course.

But that’s because it’s supposed to sound like that.

I can easily cast this esoteric mumbo-jumbo in a more dark and politically salient light. Don’t believe me? OK, let’s just take the colors: black, white and red and see what we can do with them … hmmm … give me one more sec, one-two-three, yes! OK — finished!

Here, take a look:

There’s your alchemical process — black, white and red. And the Uber Man can be found holding the banner below, his color a nice, caramel, Egyptian brown.

My point here, whatever your views on the NSDAP may be, is that these allegorical alchemical concepts are often transposed onto real world events and movements by people trying to apply the concept of Sympatia [I have a special essay on ritual magic coming up] and fractality. Put another way, getting people to dress up in certain colors and do seemingly pointless ceremonies and rituals is considered a kind of occulted form of spell casting, by the kind of people like Kalergi who take magic seriously. This will become clear when I write that aforementioned essay, so just file this observation away for later.

In fact, had WWII not occurred in living memory, I might have dismissed that it ever occurred, simply because of how allegorically significant some of the events and aesthetics and locations were. Imagine a far distant future:

A historical revisionist two hundred years from now, in the wake of a sun flare and the erasure of our digital records is tasked with a tech-warlord to piece together the pre-collapse history of digital civilization and comes to the conclusion that the fragmented surviving stories of “Nazis” were a metaphor for a comet.

Just look: their symbol is literally a celestial constellation, and their colors represent an alchemical process of transformation through apocalypse (fire). And they were defeated by a kind of sky arrow that could destroy an entire city with fire and an invisible disease that ate through stone and skin and bone?

Fantastical!

That must mean that the war was a myth and a metaphor, and this Adolf figure must have been a deity that they worshipped in the Before Times. Case closed, m’lord.

So, another, less emotionally loaded example of alchemical allegory playing out in military and political events that I have come across involve the campaigns of Alexander the Great.

The Great Alchemical Purification of Alexander’s Army

The last couple of times we spoke of Alexander we covered legends around his birth and his death, the drama around his magical corpse, and we mentioned his association with the perennial Eagle banner/symbol/god in his campaigns. Skipping around to another famous part of the story, Alexander enters India and many mystical and alchemically significants events occur in rapid succession.

One story is worth a quick mention — he meets one of the Gymnosophists in modern day Pakistan, the so-called naked ascetics, and brings him along with him during his Indian campaign. By the time they return to Persia later, Kalanos decides to take his own life as old age and disease start to threaten his constitution. A pyre for him is built at his request, and he lays himself down on it, as he is burned to death all without him uttering a single cry of pain. This feat greatly impresses the Macedonians.

For the gymnosophists though, this was a kind of “alchemical” feat — the burning away of the impure by fire, to allow for ascension to a higher state.

But there is a far more direct alchemical allegory that occurs as a result of the Indian campaign. First, everyone knows the story of how Alexander’s army mutinies and refuses to go further East with him, because they believed that they had reached the edge of the world.

This is very easy to interpret as an occult metaphor because, well, the Hyphasis River is NOT the end of the world and the Greeks already knew about the existence of the Himalayas further East from their own legends, which Alexander desperately wanted to reach. More than likely, the river marked a liminal boundary — a point of no return in the spiritual, shamanic sense. A kind of barrier that you cross as you enter a different world or a different state.

Now, why did Alexander so desperately want to reach these fabled mountains at the end of the world?

It is because he was consciously imitating the footsteps of an earlier legendary general who had reached and conquered India. Yes, the famous chthonic god-warrior Dionysius had taken India using sorcery and wild animals and cultist-warriors prior to Alexander, according to Greek legends. Everywhere that Alexander reached in India, he found remnants and memories from that distant campaign in the form of temples and founding myths and wine cultivation. Alexander made sure to honor Dionysius as he marched on through as well.

“Rome” is just a name for a much older concept.

The Eternal Imperial Eagle and the Thunder Warriors

The better pretenders included thunderbolts clasped in the claws of their Imperial Eagles though.

Those are called the Thunderbolt(s) of Jupiter.

But they are also the thunderbolts of Indra, of Zeus, and of Thor.

It is also, quite clearly, a Vajra being depicted i.e., an ancient weapon (astra) that is found across continents and cultures in commemorative religious artworks. The Astras are a set of divine weapons, wielded by the Eagle deity and his legions of “Thunder Warriors”, in their globe-spanning campaign of conquest.

Some of these campaigns are recorded in the Vedas.

But the Eagle and the Thunderbolt go together in literally all Aryan/Yamnaya successor cultures.

Sifting through these ancient myths, we are left with the fragmented memories of an ancient war. Conspiracy theorists have had a lot of fun with the Vedas over the years. The sheer scale of the conflict and all the aerial combat and aerial bombardments that it describes has been interpreted to be a retelling of an ancient UFO/ET incursion.

I don’t actually have an argument against this line of thinking.

Anyway.

Without dipping into the conspiracy stuff too much, I think it is fair to say that most people, outside of the Anglosphere, are aware of the “Aryan Invasion” theory. That is essentially what I am describing here.

The most lasting symbol of those ancient wars was the Eagle and the Thunderbolt.

The Eagle deity and his divine pantheon of “sky gods” also wielded weapons of awesome power to win those wars. Their exploits are remembered in the pan-Indo-Aryan/Yamnaya//Sky pantheon of gods that we are all familiar.

Nowadays, plasma researchers believe that some of these ancient pagan symbols from the days of that great Aryan campaign actually depict plasma phenomenon.

Protip: “plasma” is just another, more modern word for the phenomenon known to other cultures as “aether” or “vril” or “chi” or “energeia”.

Anyway.

These symbols should look somewhat familiar, especially if you’ve been watching/reading the news about a country in Eastern Europe with a war being fought on its territory.

Yes, I am referring to:

From the main Vedic story, we learn that the Eagle and Thunderbolt God and his divine allies also enlisted the help of entire auxiliary hordes of mortals to conduct these massive wars. These are the famous warrior giants, the fierce bronze and chariot-wielding Yamnaya/Aryan horsemen that exploded out of Siberia and conquered most of the world, leaving mummies behind in places as far-flung as China, Peru, Ukraine, (possibly New York state) and their “religious” symbology everywhere.

The hoes shudder in fear whenever you manage to finesse the word “Aryan” into the conversation.

Once these primordial wars were over, successor kingdoms and empires that lay claim to the glories of that original host and its legions proliferated all over the world. The mortal rulers of these successor states all claimed spiritual association with the now-mythical Eagle deity, and martial descent from the legions of mortal auxiliaries that had fought in those wars.

And if any of this sounds like the plot of some sci-fi or fantasy novel, that’s because it is.

It is in fact the plot of very many fantasy stories that you are probably familiar with.

Once you boil them down to their essentials and figure out the sources of historical/mythical inspiration that the author used as source material, you find the same ancient myths being told and retold over and over again. Tolkien’s Numenoreans are Atlanteans, for example. GRR Martin’s white-haired, haughty, and magical Targaryan invaders are, well, Targ-ARYAN, duh!!! who do you think that they were based on?

But my favorite rendering of this ancient blood memory myth, is, of course, the story of the Emperor of Mankind leading the brutal Wars of Unification with the help of his mortal “Thunder Warrior” legions to put all of Terra under his golden eagle banner. It is also the most explicit rendition of that mythical ur-campaign of prehistory that I’ve ever come across.

Anyway, most of our more modern political history is essentially the story of these descendent successor kingdoms and empires battling over the legacy and mantle of the original Eagle god and his “Thunder Warriors”. Every single successor Yamnaya/Aryan culture thinks that they are the true descendants of the Aryans and that all of their immediate cousin neighbors are inferior to them and their particular version of the Imperial Eagle creed.

One of my favorite examples, is Alexander the Great. He conquered a significant chunk of the planet under the banner of the Imperial Eagle.

Alexander and the Eagle of Zeus.

During the famous Battle of Gaugamela against Darius III, Imperial sources say that an eagle flew above Alexander’s army and moved toward the Persians. Alexander’s seer interpreted this as Zeus promising them victory.

Alexander probably came the closest to re-establishing the great Yamnaya ur-Empire.

Alexander also claimed divine descent/ascent from Zeus/Ammon, via an Egyptian sorcerer who slept with his serpent-spirit mother, Olympia.

Yes, really:

Now, moving right along in history, the Poles famously thought that they were the true Yamnaya from the steppe and tried to LARP as them — a creed of beliefs called Sarmatianism. The German Teutonic orders thought something similar, in their own way, and Aryanism made its way all the way through Prussia to Hitler’s Aryan Reich eventually, of course.

Russians, of course, also think that they are the true sons of the Aryans — you get this in modern “Tartarianism” which stresses the Vedas and revisionist history and that the Russians are Tart-ARYANS. This squabble is essentially why the German and Slavic tribes (the most warlike successors of the Aryan), have spent centuries butchering each other for the inherited mantle of that mythical ur-empire.

I’m going to write a series talking about Polish, German, and Russian “Aryanism”, eventually, probably.

And then, you know this already, but the Italians did the whole Fascism thing, which was about Roman revivalism. And the French had Napoleon, who copied Alexander the Great religiously. Eerily so. More on him soon, I promise.

Turks pretend to be Romans as well, claiming to be descendants of two brothers raised by wolves and a city on seven hills. The Iranians claim to be Aryan and so do the Indians and even the Armenians. But this is worth a separate essay though. Both Iran and India are places where, in subsequent years, the Aryan warrior overclass was betrayed, overthrown and massacred by religious fanatics leading a revolution against them. This is the birth of Zoroastrianism in Iran, a vile religion based on iconoclasty and acts of deliberate evil, and the birth of Brahminism/Hinduism in India, and all the horrors that the priests committed on their own countrymen. Curiously, Armenia has their own “Vedic” tradition of a kind of involving Hayk (the ancestor of the Armenians) shooting Bel with a magical arrow in the battle of Mount Ararat. And Ossetian myths fill in a lot of gaps missing in our destroyed and mutilated histories as well.

… many mysteries converge on that mountain and the range around it, come to think of it …

Sadly, Anglos are the least interested in this ancient Aryan ur-myth because they think that they are Jews and eschew their own bloodline in favor of Jesus’ rabbinic savior blood. The heraldry of the UK post-Cromwell is famously the heraldry of Biblical Israel, the Unicorn. And the people who send me all that End Times + Trump is the Savior spam email crap are also 90% Anglos.

America’s Founding Fathers, in contrast, were anti-Christians and essentially Enlightenment neo-pagans and so they brought back the cult of the Imperial Eagle, as it were. The heraldry of the American state is Fasces and Eagles and Thunderbolts and statues of Lucifer in the New York harbor for this reason. Washington, DC in particular is filled with Egyptian obelisks and pyramid temples and government buildings built like Roman temples. But this legacy has largely been squandered by their backwards, primitive, morally bankrupt descendants, who were given the right to vote for no discernible sane reason, and so used their ignorance and numbers to bring back an old desert superstition known as Christianity instead.

Alas.

So, now you know the background behind the cult of the eternal Imperial Eagle. I want to stress that I am NOT a fan of the Imperial Eagle and I’m NOT a fan of the Pantheon of the “Sky Gods” that was imposed on the world. I’ve written a lot of essays on the significance of the Snake vs the Eagle, and how this came to symbolize the esoteric war fought between the “Sky” and the “Chthonic” gods.

Now, I’m not a doctor, but I do possess a kind of natural curiosity that makes me ask “why?” and “how?” a lot, which makes me orders of magnitude more intellectually honest than most doctors, in my own opinion. Perusing the medical literature, I’ve not found a satisfactory medical explanation for what causes brain cancer … or any cancer for that matter. Luckily, I also spend a lot of time on pagan myths, and so I can give you my reconstruction of the wisdom of the ancients on this matter to act as a placeholder.

So, the reason why we call cancer cancer, is because of the association that the pagans made between the affliction and the sign of the zodiac that we call Cancer. Alternate explanations are that the cancer cells look like crab legs (???) or that the cancer is as tenacious as a crab in that it is hard to get it to let go once it latches on. I think that the first explanation makes the most sense.

Consider that the sign of Cancer is in the period where the sun is the highest and strongest in the northern hemisphere. And the crab is supposed to be holding up the sun, actually. This symbolic association is preserved better in the Egypt school of astrology, with the scarab beetle holding up the sun occupying the zodiacal place of the crab.

But let us put a bookmark in Egypt for now and turn back to my bread and butter — Ancient Greece and the Iliad.

On Apollo the Despoiler

Of course, I think that the case is quite clear for Apollo having originally been a disease deity from Mesopotamia named Nergal who then became known as Apollo in Greece through cross-cultural proliferation.

I’ve spoken about the obvious problems associated with the imagery of Apollo before.

Like, a bow is usually a lunar symbol, as are the silvery arrows and the stag horns that we associate with Apollo. The most obvious problem is that Apollo is quite clearly a plague deity in the Iliad who hurls disease at Achilles and his Myrmidons as part of a personal vendetta that he has against them. It may have also been Apollo who brought Achilles down eventually, but we don’t actually know.

We do know that they had a grudge match throughout the Iliad which would have had to be resolved by the story’s end in some way.

The ending to the Iliad is actually missing, with the original text ending on the funeral of Hector and the version of the story that we have now being a reconstruction based on commentaries and later versions of the story. Yes, the version of the story where Achilles was invulnerable due to being dipped by the heel in the river Styx is a later interpolation/interpretation/twisting of the original myth.

The most famous Achilles scene that most people know, him getting shot in the heel by Paris with a poison arrow that was guided by Apollo while storming Troy, never occurs in the Iliad fragments that we possess but was reconstructed later.

NOTE: the chthonic Athena wreathed in snakes on the left.

The heel version is a later legend, even in the standard chronology. Even later still if we consider the Iliad to be a truly ancient and Hyperborean tale, as Plato complains about it being, that had been tampered with by the Olympian cult and then later by the Platonists. But think about what he have discussed before, about the armor of Achilles that was forged by Hephaestus. If Achilles really were invulnerable thanks to being dipped in the river Styx, why then did he need the armor of Hephaestus?

… there are inconsistencies here, is all that I’m saying.

All we know is that Achilles dies, probably, thanks to the machinations of Apollo, eventually. Now, another interesting bit of evidence concerning the true identity of Apollo comes from the Book of Revelation, where Apollo is named as well, albeit in the semitic form of his name, Abbadon. There he again appears as a plague deity of high rank in Sheol.

So, clearly, we have a clear association of the deity known as Apollo with poison, death from a distance, the sun (later), and disease.

One more synchronicity before we jump further into our investigation though.

The other day, I saw the NATO-supporting neopagan faction pushing “Apollolinism/Apollonianism” on Twitter, again. They see their new Apollo religion as a Platonic Noble Lie, but one that spread the European values of Individualism, Materialism, and Moral Universalism, thereby making the world a better place. Essentially, their Apollo stands for Anglo-Globalism. A kind of improved take on the rather crude “Uncle Sam” mascot with some Nietzsche mixed in to give it all a thin philosophical veneer. All of its proponents really hate Russia and either have EU or Ukrainian flags in their bios to boot.

Don’t tell anyone this, but this recent effort to meme Apollo into a modern god-symbol of a new religion going forward is something that has already occurred several times in the ancient world. Invented, syncretic and synarchic religions rise up all the time as part of the political machinations of clever priest elites. The Cult of Serapis is a good example of a totally artificial new religion being invented by the think tank philosophers in Alexandria, to my mind. And even the sun god version of Apollo coming to represent the Classical Greece of Plato and his Philosopher cabal was the original attempt to invent and impose an artificial religion on people through the machinations of clever Philosophers.

You have to wonder whether there might be a more sinister, hidden agenda behind convincing people to worship an older and more fell deity in the guise of a god of light and reason.

The key difference is that the old Philosophers almost certainly weren’t atheists like we portray them as being today.

Yes, they certainly hated the old Chthonic folk ways, but they themselves were what we’d term “Occultists” now. And so their efforts to kill off the old Titan pantheon, perhaps best exemplified by their replacement of Helios, the original Greek sun god with Apollo, a Sumerian plague deity, start to become far more sinister when seen in that fell light. With that rambling introduction aside, I do want to hone in on the main topic for today’s post: the sinister aspect of the sun.

The Eye of Ra and the Black Flames of Plague

Before we dive further down into our fairytales, it is important to understand the concept of esoteric fractality or “as above, so below” and vice versa. The rest you already probably know — I heard a joke recently that the average person knows more about Ancient Egypt than they do about their own city council! That being the case, this part won’t be anything new to you then.

So, most famously, the Nile River is supposed to mirror the Milky Way. The Pyramids of Giza being the Belt of Orion is probably the most well-known bit of astrotheological trivia out there now.

If you want to dig even deeper, the Nile River is also supposed to mirror the human spine, with its 33 vertebrae leading to the skull at the top being represented by strategically placed temples along the river. Even the names that we use for our bodies to this day are zodiacal and religious. We have a temple in our skull, we have a solar plexus, a sole/soul of the foot, and many other associations if you know the old Greek words for body parts and what they mean.

So the astrotheologists say, anyway.

I bring this up only to point out and illustrate the fractality concept again. The largest celestial bodies can be reflected, on a micro scale, even in the human body, according to the pagan conception of the world . So, unsurprisingly, while Ra is the sun in the sky, Ra also manifests fractally in the human body, in the right eye, of men, especially. And then there is also the left eye, the dwelling of the moon, known as the Eye of Horus.

Of course, even here, things get complicated. Horus is also sky god and therefore, technically, he is not a moon god and he ought to have two eyes. They myths have not survived tampering and theological squabbling, not even in Egypt. Furthermore, Horus battles Set and has his eye ripped out in the process, which is then made into a symbol of the moon … except we also have a separate moon deity named Khonsu … so who did the left eye truly belong to in the past? Is Horus a composite figure? Almost certainly. After all, Horus is as much a title as he is a god from the stories — all pharaohs called themselves “the Horus” and this gave them divine claim/legitimacy on the throne.

Modern occultists like Crowley and his Thelmites gave an occult interpretation of Horus, which essentially dug up a hidden Chthonic backstory for Horus. Horus was supposed to embody the vengeful spirit of an anti-Osiris or anti-Christ, who would arrive on the scene soon to usher in a more brutal, martial age devoid of hypocritical sentimentality. This version of Horus lives on in modern pop culture, as Horus Lupercal of the Warhammer 40K series, which is heavily inspired by the occult revival.

Western anime fans are also no doubt familiar with this ancient pagan concept.

In the Burmese cartoons that were so popular among the youth of my generation, one of the main characters (I believe his name was “Power Ranger”) has two Shinto deities dwelling his eyes. In his right eye, he has the sun god, Amaterasu, whose power allows him to shoot out a flamethrower at his enemies. In his left eye, Power Ranger has the moon god, Tsukoyomi, whose power allows him to cast illusions at his enemies.

Depicted: “Power Ranger”, one of those dang ol’ Pokemens or whatever they call ‘em gobbly-gook China critters using the power of Amaterasu.

And this concept of fire and sun being contained and emitted from our eyes is also found among the surviving fragments of the father of Western occultism, Empedocles.

With the right eye of Ra, we once again have a direct association between the sun and fire … and disease for some reason.

Generally, I like to use the ancient stories for my personal investigations and the essays that I then produce to share my journey/findings with my Stalkers. I like to steer away from later occult movements and their work, because I believe them to be “tainted” by Platonic political agendas, Judeo-Christian influence, and creative reinterpretation of ancient myths. That being said, it is not a hard and fast rule that I adhere to, and I also take the view that the medieval and renaissance worlds of the occultists is separated by only a few centuries from the pagan world, chronologically. That is why there is so much overlap between medieval/renaissance occultism and paganism. I will go more into this when I discuss medieval Vulcan cults in my follow-up essay on Vulcan. Suffice it to say, sometimes the records are too scant from the pagan world, and I have to dip into the occult to make up for the conceptual shortfalls.

Which brings us to relevant and modern interpretations of the plague sun concept in use today.

The “N-Word” Sun of the Neo-Nazi Movement

Take the Black Sun symbol that is so popular among Azov Neo-Nazis fighting for EU Values, Democracy Rights, and against the Fascist Multipolar Mongol Horde. I’m sure you’ve seen it and wondered what it was. Here:

I’ve known about a dozen people in my life with this exact tattoo on their bodies, come to think of it. Most of them didn’t support Azov (some did though), but NONE of them understood what it meant or even bothered to try and figure it out. It just looked edgy and cool and transgressive, which is why they got it inked into their flesh. Many times I committed the social faux pas of asking a tattoo enthusiast what his/her tattoos mean. Usually, they get offended when you ask — never bring up tattoos to the tattoo’d, they will either bring it up themselves or remain quiet on the topic, out of shame, probably.

Later, I discovered that in the Western alchemical tradition, we have the concept of the Black Sun, the Sol Niger i.e., the “negro sun” or the “n-word sun”, as I like to refer to it, because I have been raised to not use offensive terminology.

I am NOT “anti-Iran” or “pro-Israel”.

There are some very bizarre stories in there that I want to explore in greater detail, especially the parts pertaining to the horns of Alexander the Great and his great bronze wall, the machinations of the Djinn, and the stories about Ali Baba (that’s in the Koran, right?).

Anyway, let’s talk about the “Islamic” Philosopher-King Alpharabius.

The Islamic Republic of Plato

The Islamic world has their own version of “Saint” Augustine + Aquinas named Alpharabius or al-Farabi. He is probably an invented character, but let’s just stick to the standard history and understand how he fulfilled the exact same function as Aquinas and Augustine did in the Latin West. That is, he took the ideas of Aristotle and Plato and successfully argued for why they were compatible with Islamic Abrahamism.

The Wiki on Alpharabius should suffice:

Abu Nasr Muhammad al-Farabi (Arabic: قبو نر محمد الفارابي, romanized: Abū Naṣr Muḥammad al-Fārābī; c. 870[1][H] – 14 December 950–12 January 951),[2] known in the Latin West as Alpharabius,^[1][I] was an early Islamic philosopher and theorist music.[4] He has been designated as “Father of Islamic Neoplatonism”,[5] and the “Founder of Islamic Political Philosophy”.[6]

Needless to say, the Ayatollah and his philosopher-kings drew heavily on Alpharabius’ philosophy to justify their government based on Islamic despotism moral virtue.

Plato’s cabal of secret police operate out of something called the Nocturnal Council, which is composed of the most educated elders, who safeguard moral orthodoxy and interpret the divine laws of the state … and murder anyone who dissents.

Nowadays, we refer to this as the Shadow Government in conspiracy circles, or the Deep State. Plato, of course, does not view a shadow government of powerful theocratic oligarchs as a bad thing like you and I might. Nor does the Ayatollah in Tehran, who constantly denounces Western “Democracy” for that matter, thinking he’s a modern day Plato or something.

To our ears, when the current Ayatollah barks his denunciations of Russia and the West, it sounds like he’s making a lot of good points, admittedly. Especially when he thunders about the degeneracy of Western (really just negro) music and feminism.

But he is speaking a different, occulted language for those with ears to hear.

The Ayatollahs are actually denouncing the same “Democracy” that Plato denounced in his writings. But the term “Democracy” comes to mean, “anything that Plato doesn’t like”, really and therefore isn’t a true critique of anything germane to our current situation or political situation. Even if our music wasn’t negro braying and our whore women weren’t unrepentant harlots, the Ayatollah would still denounce our “Democracy” because he is denouncing us for not being Platonic enough, and there is confusion (deliberate) over the words being used. It certainly doesn’t actually mean or relate to “voting” like most people think in the same way that Plato’s use of the term “Republic” isn’t really Republican in the Roman or American or French sense of the word.

And yes, most intelligent people in the West have a beef with their political systems because they purport to be democratic, but everyone understands that they are simply predatory and oligarchic in reality. But Plato, in his denunciations, advocates for an even more despotic oligarchy, to replace the “Democracy” and thereby do away with the hypocrisy. So the despotism of Democracies isn’t really the problem. If anything, that is a feature to be exploited and built on. Think of how the Communists critiqued the evils of Capitalism, which were indeed real and deplorable, and then turned around and did something even worse when they took power! Besides, what Plato actually doesn’t like about “Democracy” is that it is has elements of non-Elite culture preserved in it.

Basically, the people of Athens still cling to their old stories and organic, native, pagan identity.

And that is the beast that Plato wants to slay.

So, while the criticisms of Western governments are mostly true and shared even, probably, by the average Westerner, it doesn’t follow logically that the solution to the hypocrisy and despotism of the current order is … yet more despotism, but now with the added bonus of sinister looking black turbans and incessant calls to prayer in a disgusting, guttural, foreign language.

Back to Alpharabius:

Al-Farabi’s areas of philosophical interest include - but are not limited to, community philosophy and religion; language philosophy and meaning; psychology and science; metaphysics, [3] Political philosophy, and ethics.^[2][3][4] He was an expert in it Music experience the Theory of Music, and although not a scientist, his works include astronomy, mathematics, space science, and physics.^[5][14]^[6][7][8]

Al-Farabi has been praised as Muslims the first to present the philosophy as a proper system in the Islamic world, and to create his own philosophical system, which developed a philosophical system that goes beyond the priorities of Greco-Roman Neoplatonism and Syriac Aristotelian precursors. .19][20][21] [J] that he was more than a pioneer in Islamic philosophy, ^[9] it can be excluded from the tradition of the previous authors who call “Second Generation”, [1] with Aristotle as the first.[22][24]

Al-Farabi’s influence on philosophy cannot be denied, to mention a few, Yahya ibn Adi, Abu Sulayman Sikhistani, Abu al-Hassan al-Amiri, and Abu Hayyan al-Tawhidi; Avicenna, Suhrawardi, and Mulla Sadra; Avempace, Ibn Tufail, and Averroes; Maimonides, Albertus Magnus, and Leo Strauss.^{[10][11][12][13][14]} It is known in Latin West, and the Islamic world.^[15]

Maimonedes, Aristotle and Leo Strauss?

Remarkable company of great minds. Add the modern philosophers Ayn Rand and that Hariri guy giving speeches at the WHO/WTO/UNGCHQ and you’ve got the full list of the globalist philosopher pantheon.

Alpharabius’ “Virtuous City” of God … and Plato

All that Al-Farabi/Alpharabius did for the East was what Aquinas and Augustine did for the West. In fact, Aristotle was translated to Latin out of Arabic, and taken from an Islamic world which had already re-incorporated him into their religion, formally, thanks to Alpharabius’ treatise called Virtuous City.

In the West, we have Augustine’s City of God, which is essentially the same book.

In particular, after I got done bashing the Christians and the womens, I honed in on the concept of a fiery, male, internal subtle energy force. The only reason why I wrote all those essays was to share with my Stalkers and include them in the epic intellectual quest that I had been on for many years. I was tracking down the elusive and missing male subtle energy principle in the pagan Greek world. I knew that it should be there, because the other surviving pagan traditions have this principle in some form or another.

Only the Ancient Greeks seem to be missing it so completely …

Then, I pointed out that in the traditions of the northern peoples of Skyrim, the power in question was referred to as Odr, and was related to Odin. I say “related”, but in reality, Odr was Odin and Odin was the embodiment of Odr in anthropomorphized deity form. That is an important concept to understand and it will come up again and again.

To that end, I then tried to find the deity that was embodied the Greek version of the male subtle energy principle, like the Menos, a form of spirit energy used by Achilles to take on the gods and their proxy forces in the battles for Troy. I speculated that it could have been a Chthonic, earlier version of Ares that had been displaced by the later Classical Greek emphasis on Zeus and Apollo.

My evidence for the thesis was based on several suppositions:

• that many of the High Gods had a chthonic, earlier or folkish form, even a “snake-Zeus”

• that Ares, being the god of war from an older version of paganism, would be a suitable candidate for the position of Menos principle primogenitor

• there were mentions of Ares in his chthonic form in the spells of the Greek Magical Papyri, in the Scholia (scribbled notes) and later occult revivalist traditions

Perhaps we will return to the concept of Chthonic Ares, but I admit that my speculation proved fruitless and yielded no results thus far. Ares is also ritually humiliated in the Iliad and eventually replaced in the same way that many of the older deities are.

With Ares, something totally impossible and extraordinary happens in the story.

Diomedes, a mortal, wounds Ares with a spear. A god being injured by a human? Unheard of and humiliating and impossible and also inherently illogical, even by the world-building rules of the pagan universe we are in. It is like believing that your god can be killed on a wooden cross by nails — it makes no sense and violates the definition of the concept of “god”. Anyway, Ares flees in pain and shame and the scene is almost a source of comic relief.

Zeus then rebukes him for being a crazed berserker and for his bad influence on warriors.

Classical Greek religion then marginalized and almost outlawed Ares, almost certainly because he was associated with martial, ecstatic frenzy and their entire religious reform effort was oriented around doing away with that sort of thing. Rome, in contrast, held Mars in great esteem and the Greeks in contempt for having sidelined their warrior deity in favor of Philosophical pedophile nonsense.

A chthonic Ares may be the missing Odin equivalent in Greek for primogenitor of the occult male energy principle.

But we will return to that vein of investigation later.

For now, I returned my attention to Prometheus and the subversion and obfuscation of his story by the Olympian cult and their rewriting of the primordial myths.

Let me explain my thought process and what I discovered.

The Missing Prometheus and the Humiliated Hephaestus

By the time we get to the narrative of the Iliad, we have a Prometheus that is conspicuously missing in action.

The very first Greek tragedy, which deals with the story of Prometheus, places him in shackles in the Caucasus, having his liver eaten by Zeus’ eagle. The liver is significant and worth its own essay. Put simply, it is the seat of animative vitality in Greek pagan thought. So, by having an eagle eat the livers of Prometheus and the giant Tityos, the two are kept permanently drained of their spiritual prowess and unable to escape their bonds. Another time in another essay though.

The story of this fire-god who created and then granted humanity divine power to challenge the Olympians begins with Prometheus Bound. He is then freed by the hero Herakles, who uses chthonic hydra snake venom to slay the god-eagle gaoler. At least, that is what we have been able to reconstruct of Prometheus Unbound. And what happens next, we simply don’t know, because the third book in the trilogy, Prometheus the Fire-Bearer is missing.

Now, Prometheus apparently spent his time in captivity fruitfully, and had used his gift of foresight to predict a future replacement of Zeus. Recall that Zeus was supposed to rape Thetis, who would then give birth to an Achilles that possessed Olympian powers. Achilles would have then surpassed and overthrown Zeus. Fearing this sequence of events, Zeus uses Hermes to torture Prometheus into somehow letting slip this foresight-derived prophecy/plan. Or, alternatively, he strikes a bargain with Prometheus … possibly. What we do know is that Zeus then refrains from raping Thetis. Achilles is then born to her, but without Olympian powers, only the chthonic powers of his sea serpent mother.

But we are skipping all over the place here in terms of sources.

Because what I just summarized cannot be found in just one place or source.

We are talking about Homer’s version of the Iliad (already almost certainly censored in parts by the Olympian cult), Aeschylus’ famous tragedy about Prometheus which is missing huge swathes that have been “inferred”, and then later Scholia (margin scribbles) and fragments from authors of even later centuries. If you were ever to inquire into how our reconstructions of pagan antiquity were done, how any of it got dated, well, you’d be left with sleepless nights wondering just the how the hell we know anything about the ancient world at all. The Christians were more barbarous and destructive than the Bolsheviks could have ever dreamed of being. There has never been a greater tragedy than the triumph of neo-Judaism over the ancient world and the destruction that followed.

But I digress.

Let us simply merge these sources into one coherent story as best we can and pick up where we left off in our examination of the Iliad. You will recall that I referred to Achilles as being no different from a northern berserker warrior, his myrmidons being his shield-brothers, who personally called on the power of chthonic daimons and wielded his own Odr/Menos to fight Zeus, Apollo, and their Trojan proxies.

A curious episode occurs before Achilles’ cousin Patroclus is struck down by the Mesopotamian plague-demon known as Apollo …

… and before Achilles unleashes his howl of phobos-inducing dread upon the Trojans and before he engages in a magical wizard duel with the river god, Scamander.

For someone who figures so importantly in setting the stage for events to come, Prometheus’ absence in the Iliad is puzzling. Perhaps he was a much later, foreign deity that came to Greece in the classical period as some scholars suggest. Or, most intriguingly, Prometheus is to be found in the Iliad, albeit in the form of Hephaestus. Because from the very beginning of the story of Achilles, we have Hephaestus in the margins, making plays and helping Achilles stay one step ahead of Zeus.

Traditionally, Hephaestus represents:

• Fire controlled under divine order

• Technology kept inside the cosmic elite

• Subordination to Zeus

In contrast, Prometheus represents:

• Fire stolen from under divine monopoly

• Knowledge freely given to mortals

• Defiance of Zeus

They are almost mirror images.

But the revisionist argument in comparative mythology is that Hephaestus was rewritten to be that way by the Olympian cult to undercut the Promethean version of the story. In the same way that, say, the rebel Bellerophon storming Olympus on the back of a winged horse was rewritten into the pliant servant Perseus, meekly giving Zeus the sacrifices that were his due.

Elements of their shared original story still shine through the doctored texts.

First of all, Hephaestus, like Prometheus (and Lucifer), incurs the wrath of Zeus, and is cast out of the heavens. He falls for nine days until he hits the Earth. In one version of the story, Thetis, the mother of Achilles and the sea-serpent daimoness, cushions his fall and then hides the injured Hephaesus under the sea in a cave, away from the search parties of Zeus. Hephaestus is lamed by the fall and limps from that point onwards, a characteristic that he shares with Vulcan as well.

I attempted to explain why the origins or roots of both systems came from Christian missionaries and then Communist missionaries, and that the gospels of both groups can be traced back to Plato’s Laws (a blueprint for a religious dystopia) and The Republic (a blueprint for a secular dystopia).

Also, because of how similar Communism and Christianity are, it is little surprise (to me, anyway) that the Christian leaders of the Korean guerrillas became Communists. Or that the Communist leaders of the USSR became Christians.

The divide between the two systems is not that wide or all that important.

It would be funny to witness the transition of North Korea back to Christianity, and Pyongyang once again becoming “the Jerusalem of the East”, should they choose to capitulate to the Judeo-Christian world order of their geopolitical enemies. But I think that they’ll hold on for some time yet. Plato’s model was designed for longevity and continuity, after all. And North Korea punches far above its own weight, as a modern-day version of Sparta would be expected to.

South Korea is also armed to the teeth too though, like a modern-day Israel.

A state which South Korean Christians support with full-throated enthusiasm, by the way. You’d think that they’d find more solidarity with the plight of the Palestinians being blown back into the stone age by American-made bombs … kind of like what they themselves went through not even a century ago, but, well, Abrahamic religion doesn’t work like that, sadly.

Internal Platonic Politics

Even within the confines of the body politic of a modern state though, the only two options are The Republic or Laws though. Like, in America, to be on the Right, you have to be a Judeo-Christian Zionist, i.e., you have to support the Laws model of Platonic subversion … completely against the ideals of secularism of the Founding Fathers, I might add.

And if you are of the Left, you just promote Judeo-Communism and attack Christianity and Zionism.

Put another way: you can either support Bernie or Bibi, and the Bibi faction clearly enjoys the upper hand in the Anglosphere, because of the historic Protestant peasant populations of these countries, who were, sadly, given the right to vote a century ago.

You, personally, might have some idiosyncratic political or religous views, but that doesn’t mean that you have any actual political traction in America. The only people who matter, or who are in the game at all, are either the party that promotes the security state and dislike Christianity, or the other party that promotes the security state and likes Christianity. Put another way, you get to choose between Pepsi and Coca Cola, but you can’t advocate bringing back a culture of alcoholic honey-based beverages (medovukha) that allow for ecstatic communion with chthonic daimon-deities.

Over in Russia, the ruling party are the Judeo-Christian crypto-Zionists led by Putin. And the only viable opposition has always been the Communist anti-Zionists under Zyuganov.

Over in Hungary, you have Orban’s Judeo-Christian Zionists being opposed by … European-style socialists and the old Soviet-Communist holdovers.

Go to any European country and you will find the situation there too, I promise you.

Remember: playing at politics in the wake of Plato’s revolution is just picking Plato State #1 v Plato State #2.

Personally, if I had to choose, I’d go with the atheist state. Simply because the aesthetics of Communist states are just so much cooler than anything that the Judeo-Christians have ever produced.

But, ideally, we’d go a different route entirely.

I am referring to Plato’s so-called Government of Ethos — ruling by the natural customs and attitudes of a people. Plato’s proposed two alternatives are explicitly a defense, a bulwark against a Government of Ethos arising and intended as a way to overthrow existing governments of ethos, who relied on their own customs and indentity to inform a unique, grounded and ethnos-specific way of life. For an artificial, top-down system of coercion and manipulation like Plato proposes, this is all anathema.

Jokes aside, my whole political ethos is essentially just: “do the opposite of what Plato and the Bible tell you to do”.

But it is not enough for me to simply play the contrarian.

Like, I also have to understand why Plato was so afraid of Government by Ethos.

In that same vein, I try to understand why Plato was so against peasant mysticism, the Chthonic arts, the goetian shaman tradition and so on. My conclusion is that all of Western society and its ill-gotten colonies, as well as regions affected by Confucianism and Buddhism for that matter, are victims of an organized conspiracy to suppress folk expression and nativist self-governance. That these things that were banned by the Platonists and their offshoot groups means that they were inherently powerful and limited the organized conspiracy to seize power in some way. It stands to reason then, that the way out of the mess might be in understanding why these things were suppressed in the first place, seeing as their suppression forms the foundation of the system of control that we operate under now.

The first kind of state is an Atheist spookocracy, which is what is commonly depicted in all dystopian films and literature — so, it should be familiar to us all. Everyone is in plain clothes of white or black, and there is a secret police monitoring thoughts and private conversations, with literally everything being tightly regulated.

And the second form of dystopia/utopia is a religious state, which is structurally the same, but simply assumes a dumber caste of rulers and ruled. The rulers are not capable of being true Statesmen i.e., those possessing true understanding of rules and also disregarding them if necessary to effect the end goal.

As an analogy, imagine a true martial arts master — one who has progressed to the level where they can innovate and flow and adapt to the situation in real time.

And the second best method of rule is the strict dogmatic approach, for when true Statesmen/Kung Fu masters are lacking and priests have to pick up the slack in their place. The strict following of orthodoxy creates a rigid system that is more brittle than the ideal one. Less adaptable. Easier to overthrow, or take down to the mat eventually.

The Two Platonic States of Korea

Now, the story of how we got two Koreas is a great example to draw out the dichotomy that I am referring to.

First, for almost a century prior to the American intervention into Korea which created a divided peninsula, American Christian missionaries were laying down the groundwork for subversion. Sent over by American churches, as part of a kind of informal, proto-CIA, these protestant groups had succeeded in converting upwards of ±30% of the Korean population by the time of the Japanese invasion.

Pyongyang, the then-capital of a united Korea was dubbed “the Jerusalem of the East” as a result.

It should come as little surprise then that Kim Il Sung was raised in a Presbyterian family and educated in Christian schools. The transition from Christianity to Communism was quite easy. This happens over and over again in the history of the 19th and early 20th centuries, and yet it goes studiously unremarked on. Hell, even the opposite transition, or regression, happens all the time too. Just think of Communist Russia ruled by the KGB becoming Christian Russia ruled by the FSB.

To the political layman, there is a vast gulf between Christianity and Communism.

To the initiated though, there is only a technical, semantic difference. One of these Platonic systems is superior to the other, but the other is a safe fallback option that the overarching system of control allows for as well.

But back to Kim.

This is what he had to say on the matter of his conversion to Communism much later in his life:

Religion is not banned in north Korea and freedom of religious belief is guaranteed by law. Men of religion should be brought to understand clearly that they are free to believe in a religion or not. By the way, to ensure freedom of religious belief does not mean that religious activities against state policy should be allowed. Such activities cannot but be regarded as betrayal of the interests of our people. Infringement on the interests of the country and the people should be thoroughly denounced.

Since our people led a wretched life as colonial slaves without a state for nearly half a century in the past, quite a few had a tendency to put religion first.

However, they should not have such backward ideas when we are building an independent, sovereign and democratic state after defeating the vicious Japanese imperialists and liberating our Korean nation. From now on, everyone should actively participate in building a rich and strong, independent and sovereign state with the true patriotic idea of fighting for the interests of the country and the people.

The foreign missionaries living in Korea in the old days were the espionage agents of the imperialists. Only the imperialist countries dispatch missionaries in order to invade other nations but there can be no such a thing in the democratic world today.

Harsh of him to denounce his own family and friends and fellow generals like that.

But I suppose Kim was angry about having been deceived … and possibly even circumsized.

Religious people should abandon the wrong idea of worshipping foreign missionaries. From now on, religion should also be subjected to the interests of the state and the people and should be for the sake of our nation. This is the only religion Koreans can believe in.

We are of the opinion that some Christians at present are inclined to place certain hopes on the US military government and its stooges in south Korea but that this will have no political effect of any consequence on the coming elections. We believe that Christians are first of all Koreans and that, if they really love Korea and want the country’s independence and sovereignty, they will take an active part in these elections of great significance in the history of our nation.

In fact, you would be hard-pressed to find even one of the Korean independence leaders who wasn’t raised or educated as a Christian. They all got their organizing start and education so that they would lead an anti-Japanese resistance network on behalf of the Americans. This they did indeed end up doing, but only after abandoning Christianity as an organizing principle. Kim Il Sung hints at the reasons why they did that above, but more on that in a bit.

For their part, the Japanese feared Korea would be used as a launching pad for future invasions of Japan, and had sought to conquer it sporadically for centuries. Korea, originally, was a very similar culture to Japan’s in that there was an elite that was “high-Sino” in culture, ruling over a folk that had no access to this elite culture.

To counter this, the Christian missionaries promoted the adoption of the common Hangul language and literacy in it, to create a modern Korean identity that had nothing in common with China or Japan. Furthermore, the Japanese had expelled Christianity centuries ago, and had even expelled Buddhism later on, choosing instead to re-adopt a nativist form of Shinto. Both were sound decisions for a nation that was attempting to establish itself as a powerful nation-state on the world stage.

It was in no small part because of this long-standing grudge that Christians held against Japan for its dogged pagan resistance that they encouraged the Koreans to rebel against Japanese occupation.

As a result, the Christian-Korean resistance effort was entirely Biblical in its ideological rhetoric and imagery, and framed as a holy war against Paganism, and the evil rule of “Pharaoh” or “Rome”, as represented by Japan. In short, Koreans were recast in the role of the Jews of the Old Testament in the Christian missionary propaganda.

How original.

That is also why they began to circumsize themselves … although that was adopted en masse later, in the Christian South, under Judeo-American occupation.

Now, when the Japanese took over Korea, Christians were targeted for punishment, but this was both justified and morally commendable on the part of the Japanese.

Their version of Shinto was very similar to the Roman concept of an Imperial religion of state. The Emperor was divine and most of the religion was just ritualized showing of loyalty to the Emperor, not the promotion of any kind of theocratic worldview. Christians in Korea, however, denied the divinity of the Emperor, created guerrilla networks of partisans and attacked pagan shrines. For that reason, Japan was harsh in its crackdowns against Korean Christians, who simply doubled down on their foreign religion and declared that they were facing the End Times.

The Christianity to Communism Pipeline

So why did Korea’s Christian rebel anti-Japanese, American-created nu-elite begin to transition to Marxism from Christianity then?

Several reasons.

The first is that Christianity is a religion for cuckolds and slaves, and no armed nativist resistance is possible within its ideological framework … unless you lean into the Old Testament stories about the numerous Jewish revolts against gentile rule. Either way, you have to leave out the hippy Jesus crap about rendering unto Caesar the respect that is his due and focus instead on charity and the rewards of the afterlife instead of on temporal political or military resistance to foreign rule.

Also, while Christians vehemently deny this, it was common knowledge at the time that Marxism was nothing more than the economic realization of Christian social teachings. After all, Marx had literally been commissioned by an organization of Christian socialists to map out a truly Christian economic blueprint for a Christian society.

“You will own nothing but be happy rewarded in the afterlife,” is the key message of Christ’s ministry, and Paul’s besides. Marx comments on this, and is lambasted for the actually truthful and self-apparent stuff that he said, while most of the deleterious and myopic social and economic ideas have been quietly adopted by everyone.

Theologically, the anti-private property message in the religion comes about because of a clear apocalyptic strain in Judeo-Christian literature, anticipating some sort of End Times situation that would render capital accumulation fruitless.

But the End Times that Jesus and Paul prophesied came and passed with no one the worse for them. Or, they occurred and we simply live in the aftermath, as modern-day Pauline Pretorists believe.

1 Thessalonians 4:15–17

“We who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will by no means precede those who have died…”

1 Corinthians 10:11

“These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the ends of the ages have come.”

Either way, no point in hoarding stuff or starting families if you expect a Doomsday or suspect that you missed the second coming and got left behind. The exhortations and parables against property ownership also remained in place post-Doomsday. This is a very important detail for understanding modern-day South Korea, as we will see shortly.

But all of this is not something that only I see or believe in — no, this was being commented on all over the place and time by the intellectual heavy-weights of Europe.

This argument is so simple to understand, and so logical, that it is little wonder how so many Christians transitioned to Marxism in that time. Like, you can get mad at me for claiming that Christianity easily transitions into Marxism … but that’s, literally, exactly, just what happened once Marx’s arguments were made. People heard these arguments and said, “yeah, that makes sense”, and went with it. A good summary of the Marxist pitch to Christians can still be found on their websites.

Hell, the pre-Soviet Russian Orthodox Church (the synod) which is supposed to be “trad” and “based” came to the same realization and endorsed Socialist revolution in Russia against the Tsar as well, remember?

Even Dostoevsky understood how strangely compatible the ideals of the revolutionaries and the Christians’ mission was, which he explores in his book Devils.

But the best example of revelatory literature on the topic Zyamatin’s We though, where a cabal of Christians and revolutions conspire to implement the Platonic utopia-state.

And, finally, the man who most succinctly explained the Christianity ===> Socialism pipeline was Bruno Bauer. He simply looked at the implicit economic program presented in the Bible for Christians:

• Abolition of social hierarchy (all equal in Christ)

• Negation of private wealth (a rich man can’t get into heaven)

• Communal sharing of everything (Acts of the Apostles)

• Christ’s moral attack on property as a concept (for Christians)

• Universal human community replacing ethnic or civic divisions

But, crucially, organized Christianity refused to realize any of this materially or politically. Instead, upon taking power, it deferred this ideal state of affairs to the afterlife. Organized Christianity cynically moralized the state of poverty as a sign of a happy afterlife to come and it encouraged the masses to simply endure their earthly punishment, while the priests lived lavishly at their expense.

So for Bauer, Christianity was literally just utopian communism that had been displaced theologically into heaven. Basically, the Church made heaven a Communist utopia and told people to just suffer until they reached it. All that Marxism did was imbue people with the motivation and vision to try and achieve that state while still on Earth.

A kind of Christianity without having to wait for Christ.

Nothing more, really.

And now back to the harrowing tale of Korea.

Christian “Nationalism” v Marxist “Nationalism”

Most explanations of the history of the Korean independence effort and the subsequent split along North and South lines will not mention Plato. They will mention Marx and Christianity, and maybe even some Confucianism.

A few words on Confucianism then — it was part of the lingering “high-Sino” culture of the elites that bore more than just a passing resemblance to Platonism itself. I’ve talked about how it was the Platonism of the East before.

But the Christian Nationalist state in the South and the Marxist Nationalist state in the North are a near perfect case study of two competing Platonic systems. The North adopted The Republic as their model, and the South adopted Laws as theirs. They did this through the proxies of Communism and Christianity. Scratch past the veneer of Communism and Christianity and you will find The Republic and Laws.

Plato’s also has a tripartite ranking system for governance.

The highest tier of governance is the one based on true knowledge; the rule by his philosopher-kings who are not bound by the law, because they understand the true intention behind the laws and so can rule as they see fit with the end goals in mind. A tier lower is rule by the law, which is inflexible and exists because of the lack of a true statesman to govern, as Plato expounds in his Statesman tract. And the lowest tier is the rule by custom, force or rhetoric (emotional manipulation). This third state is most akin to a natural, non-Platonic state i.e., the state that the first two models are implemented to eliminate. Keep this in mind for later.

Only in the ideal Republic can a true statesman govern as he sees fit, with the end goals of Platonism in mind. But as I have explained before, a society mired in religious backwardness is still a viable model for implementing Platonism. The model for governance is based on the levels of knowing that a person can achieve.

So we have:

• Truth (alētheia / epistēmē) — grasp of what actually is

• Right opinion (orthē doxa) — correct belief without understanding

The better tier is when the statesmen actually understand the goals of Platonism. The second-best tier is when there are no true statesmen, and so priests of orthodoxy are needed who can enforce Platonism, but without really understanding why they do what they do. Crucially, they themselves have to believe in their own lies to preach them. That is to say, the leaders are partially the victims as much as the followers because both believe in the Noble Lie. In the ideal society, run by actual statesmen, the rulers aren’t believers in the Noble Lies, but know why they were implemented in the first place. This allows them greater flexibility and cleverness in their methods and policies. This is the difference between the Platonic Utopia of The Republic and the runner-up society in Laws.

And most modern political conflicts are just a debate over whether or not to implement Plato Program #1 or Plato Program #2.

You know these models under their most popular and common, modernized names: Marxism and Christianity.

Yes, Marxism is just The Republic and Christianity is just Laws!

So, the various revolutionaries in Russia were Platonists, who mostly got their Plato via Marx. And they went up against another Platonic model, based on religious hypocrisy, essentially. The French Revolution was the exact same exercise. In fact, I contend that all of our modern history is a battle between the two models that Plato presents for the ideal society of the future. Very few political projects have attempted to establish an alternative, a third way that isn’t just a form of Platonism.

Plato describes this as the “way of custom” remember?

And it is labelled Evil or “Fallen” because it is politics without philosophy or theology. A primordial kind of state that predates social engineering.

This, to Plato, is the great political enemy that he seeks to vanquish.

Organic, natural, flexible, non-dogmatic culture is one that emerges naturally, if not actively guarded against. Worse, it is a culture that doesn’t need to rely on Noble Lies like Moses or Jesus or Lycurgus to hold it together for that matter. One that isn’t so artificial and unnatural that it needs a permanent standing army of secret police to enforce as well. Or strict caste designations to weaken the body of the people to keep them at each others’ throats and make them unable to act cohesively.

Plato, in contrast prefers either a Sparta, or a Jerusalem political model.

Thus, all states can essentially be put on a spectrum between Sparta and Jerusalem i.e., whether their elites adopted The Republic or Laws, depending on whether or not they took Abrahamism seriously in their history at some point. Keep this frame or model in mind when we discuss the Platonic beliefs of the Ayatollah in Iran and the North v South Korea split in future essays. All governments can be evaluated on this criteria, believe me. Or don’t believe me — let me prove it to you instead.

I didn’t think that I’d need a series on Alexander because I figured I could get it all done in one essay. Boy, was I wrong. I think I need four essays at least to explain how important Alexander the Great was and how this period created the modern conception of religion that we struggle under now. I also need to come up with a new name for this series.

Anyway, the Diadochi Wars are very important in our timeline, if for no other reason than to understand the backdrop to the Maccabean revolt that followed in their wake and the elite-instituted attempts to create new religions to rule over this splintered and warring mega-empire which culminated in the rise of Judeo-Christianity.

The Great Corpse Heist

Now, the precipitating factor in the wars of succession that were waged by Alexander’s primarchs over his legacy, was the theft of Alexander’s body. The short version of the story is that the Macedonian satrap and acting regent of the still-intact Empire of Alexander, Perdiccas, tries to bring Alexander’s remains to Macedonia, to be buried there. This would convey political power to the Macedonian faction of Antipater and Cassander.

Ptolemy, one of Alexander’s childhood friends and Companions intervenes and intercepts Alexander’s bones en route through Syria. They were contained in a massive moving tomb called the cataflaque which he had brought to Egypt instead.

Had the body made it to Macedonia, there would probably have not been a cult of God-Alexander set up at all.

Because recall that Antipater was almost certainly the one responsible for assassinating Alexander, along with Aristotle, and all of his actions after Alexander’s death buttress this claim. They were enemies of Alexander, and based their opposition on their rejection of “Eastern superstition”. Alexander accepting deification is eerily similar to Napoleon being catapulted to power as a champion of the secular, republican revolution in France, and then promptly declaring himself an Emperor instead, one appointed by Christ himself because he forced the Pope to declare him so. And Napoleon was consciously imitating Alexander, his idol and hero, when he did this.

This was a total reversal and betrayal of values — a form of Divine “Bonapartism”, i.e., the perennial betrayal of the revolutionary ideals that seems to always occur, whether with Napoleon or Stalin or Cromwell even. The only great leader of a revolution who refused to betray the ideals of the revolution that brought them to power that comes to mind is George Washington.

Here though, we have to take another digression from the story of Alexander’s body and to discuss the politics of Macedon in the wake of Alexander’s assassination to make sense of the civil war that was brewing.

Hell Hath no Fury

Let us recall the first assassination attempt on Alexander, which is referred to as the Pages Conspiracy/Cup-Bearers Plot. Hermolaus of Macedon was executed for attempting to poison Alexander, and his associate, Callisthenes of Olynthus was also implicated and put to death. Callisthenes was Alexander’s court historian and either Aristotle’s nephew or cousin who had spoken out and denounced Alexander over the issue of deification.

The second, successful assassination was carried out by Iollas, the son of Alexander’s recently disgraced general, Antipater. Antipater had been summoned for dismissal to Babylon because of his “secularist” faction allegiance, with Craterus sent to Macedon to replace him. Luckily for Antipater, Alexander died and so Antipater remained in control in Macedon, answering the question of “who benefits”, for those with eyes to see and ears to hear. This is, at least, the version of events that Alexander’s mother believed, and all historians dismiss her as being delusional for no good reason to my mind.

As soon as Olympias regains power following the death of Antipater in Macedon, she publicly desecrates the tomb of Iollas, who had been buried with honors by Antipater. Iollas is then formally accused of poisoning Alexander. And Olympias continues her rampage by hunting down and executing many of the supporters of Antipater who still lived, including one of his sons, Nicanor.

A split had occurred among the Macedonian elite under Antipater, and one faction threw in their lot with Olympias, because of the authority she wielded and because Alexander’s heir, Alexander IV, was in her care. She returned from exile from Epirus at the invitation of Antipater’s successor and she immediately began butchering the “secularists” who refused to acknowledge the divinity of her son and by extension the claims of her grandson and herself as regent on his behalf. Her rampage of revenge was bloody enough that Macedonian rival nobles fled to Greece, raised an army there under Antipater’s son Cassander, reinvaded Macedon, and put Olympias and Alexander’s son to death.

Her execution was largely the result of a deception.

Besieged in Pydna, she is offered generous terms, and surrenders under the promises of safety. Naturally, she is then promptly put to death, possibly by stoning administered by the relatives of all the nobles she had executed. With her surrender, Alexander’s entire line ends up being wiped out, and with it the Argeid dynasty, ie the family who claimed descent from Herakles himself.

I only bring up her story to prove that my conspiracy theories about Alexander are essentially based on simply taking the claims and accusations of his mother seriously and not dismissing them. Why this is such a controversial position to take, I don’t know, other than if there was a conspiracy to cover up the true nature of this conflict, as I allege. My conspiratorial reasoning will become very clear as readers start to understand what is truly at stake here with the status and legacy of Alexander.

Anyway, back to Alexander’s corpse.

The Corpse Emperor of the Imperium

The story of Alexander’s corpse is almost as mysterious and bizarre as the story of the living man himself was. First of all, in defiance of Macedonian cremation tradition, the body is not ritually burned so that the bones and ash can be gathered and enshrined.

Instead, it was preserved as is.

But this raises many logistical questions. Like, how exactly does a corpse not start rotting within hours of brain-death in the Mesopotamian heat? Here, even the secular Imperial Truth histories rely on magic to explain the phenomenon.

Diodorus Siculus tells us that the body is left as is for weeks while political bickering ensues. Curtius Rufus tells us that the body showed no decay at all for this period of deliberation. And finally, the most famous source, Plutarch, states that the body was rendered incorruptible.

Plutarch, Life of Alexander:

“The body, although it lay in places that were warm and stifling, showed no sign of such corruption, but remained pure and fresh.”

Traditionally, this kind of phenomenon is explained by the abundance of residual spirit-power or pneuma in the bones.

Plutarch hints at this idea in Moralia:

“The souls of heroes do not depart at once, but linger about the body, held by its warmth and power.”

We even have the same tradition preserved in Orthodox Christianity, with bone and corpse relics used in rites of blessing. Our priests will kiss and dip dead body parts of holy monks into holy water, which they will drink or dip babies into and even sell off as a kind of elixir to old people. The idea is that the individual achieved such a state of grace in his life that his remains still possess this grace even after the death of the monk.

It is literally no different from the pagan practices of bone-worship, but don’t tell the priests and their faithful that! No wonder the Protestants claim that the Orthodox are secretly demon-worshipping pagans! None of this is kosher or allowed in the Bible, and yet it survives because of the synthesis that occurred between Christianity and paganism as a historical, political compromise. This is also why, if you’re going to insist on being a Christian, you should at least be an Orthodox, because of how pagan and anti-Biblical our rites truly are.

Anyway, they never say “pneuma”, but that is what is the explanatory factor for this phenomenon was in the pagan world.

Diogenes Laertius, Lives of the Philosophers:

“Pneuma pervades all things, and by its tension and warmth it holds bodies together.”

Pophyry, On Abstinence:

“Those who have lived a life of power and purity leave behind a body not easily dissolved, for the pneuma does not quickly abandon it.”

Iamblichus, De Mysteriis:

“In such men the divine presence does not immediately withdraw, but remains active in the vehicle.”

By the time it gets to Egypt, the body is formally embalmed and placed in a mausoleum by Ptolemy.

From there, it attracts veritable hordes of worshippers and supplicants, right into the 3rd century CE. Many Roman rulers famously make the pilgrimage there to pray to Alexander’s body, with the most bizarre episode being Augustus’ visit, during which he accidentally breaks off the nose of Alexander somehow. Caligula also stands accused of stealing the breastplate. This isn’t desecration though, far from it, it is trying to claim a piece of Alexander’s divine power.

A curious thing happens in the 4th century though.

The time has come to speak of Alexander’s divinity and how it inspired the future religions that we have inherited in our time.

The Horns of Moses and the Daimons

First things first, Alexander was depicted with the Horns of Ammon post-apotheosis.

This signified his divine status.

But he is not the only figure in history or myth that is depicted with horns. Another famous figure you might be familiar with is the mythical Moses, who grows horns after meeting with Yahweh on top of that volcano. The Septuagint Greek reads “radiance” or “light” shining from Moses’ face, but the Latin translators used a different word, cornuta which meant “horns/horned”. The Jerome translation of the Bible into Latin (the Vulgate, late 4th century), translated Exodus 34:29 as:

“cornuta esset facies sua”
“his face was horned”

And this horn-wording appears again in Exodus 34:3 and Exodus 34:35. Thus, the paganized version of Moses also became horned. The only problem with this rather interesting translation mix-up is that the Jews did not consider Moses to be horned, nor could this be possible in their anti-daimonic religion. But medieval Christianity was extremely pagan, simply because of the lack of success that the priests had had in truly stamping out native beliefs.

This led to interesting contradictions like the horned medieval Moses.

Of course, daimons are traditionally depicted as being horned as well, regardless of the culture that depicts them. The Judeo-Christians were, of course, very unflattering.

But the horns are ubiquitous everywhere.

Thus, it makes sense for a pagan culture to depict one of their ascended heroes as having gained horns, to symbolize their acquisition of daimonic powers. Not so much for an Abrahamic religion, which eschews the daimonic. And the Jews are quick to point these pagan additions to their religion out, which is why they push hard for the continued depaganization of Christianity, to make it more Noahide-compliant.

As an aside, an Alexander-like figure is even mentioned in the Koran. His name is Dhu al-Qarnayn,(Surah al-Kahf 18:83–98). Dhu al-Qarnayn literally means “the one with two horns” and he is portrayed as a righteous, God-guided ruler who creates a great wall made of copper and iron between two mountains to keep Ya’jūj and Ma’jūj at bay. In the other “Romance” legends of Alexander, that same wall is built in the far north and made of bronze to keep the monstrous powers there at bay. This is clearly the Gog and Magog legend in different forms. We will have more to say on the traces of Alexander in the Koran later.

Now, what do horns symbolize?

Put simply, they symbolize Luna. They are a chthonic symbol as well, favored by pagan warriors and pagan sorcerers across the world. Literally all pagan cultures use the moon-horn symbology and associate it with daimonic power. The samurai tradition, itself a steppe culture from Eurasia that came into Japan via the Ainu from Sakhalin is the most famous example of this aesthetic.

And the Reds of North America had their warrior-shamans wear horns as well. When you think of any generic shaman’s attire, you probably think about horned headgear as well.

But you saw an emphasis on lunar imagery and horns with the Wolf-Berserkers as well. I’m sure you remember my seminal and critically acclaimed essay on the matter, but just in case, here is what I am referring to:

In popular Western media though, this concept is basically completely forgotten.

The only example that comes to mind is from the Bhutanese cartoons that I watched while growing up. In them, the “Sage of Six Paths”, i.e., the benevolent half-divine, haf-human rebellious son of a moon deity is depicted with horns. He is the source of all of the “magic” used in the setting.

I suppose the only mention of horns being explicitly associated with mystical power in any Western popular media that comes to mind is, again, Warhammer 40K, with Magnus the Red, a kind of Macedonian/Egyptian inspired fictional general.

Back in the real world, the ancient myths in Mesopotamia always reference horns being worn as crowns by the legendary kings. As an aside, more time separates the Mesopotamian dynasties from their own ancient legends than separates us from the dynasties now. Crazy to think about.

The ancient Mycenaeans wore horns on their armor as well and they were probably the most stylish out of all the horn-wielding cultures. Behold:

Even Achilles the Berserker wore a “four-horned helmet” according to the Iliad.

Imagine then the scene.

— Achilles frothing with rage at Apollo, his head blazing with fire and wreathed in a golden mist, serpent-bodied nymph daimons writhing in a shell around his body, his howling war-shriek driving Trojans mad with terror … and all of it capped off with looming horns protruding from his bronze helmet to complete the aesthetic.

Sadly, no popular media of the Iliad or the Odyssey depict the characters in their true colorful, wild, chthonic and pagan manner. Modern depictions always use the same minimalist designs and drab color palette that better reflects Hebrew ideals and Puritan squeamishness than any historical or mythical pagan past. It is sickening, really, to see this active rewriting and recoloring of a better and more vital pagan past by Judeo-Anglo movie directors like Chris Nolan.

The God-Alexander Romances

Horns aside (for now), the standard history that we are taught about Alexander is the one I have summarized before, and it is depicted in films and popular culture. A young Macedonian conqueror goes East and then dies mysteriously, only for his empire to fracture into civil war over the political vacuum left in his wake.

There is, however, an alternative source of Alexander histories.

These are called the “Alexander Romances” and they are far more esoteric and fantastical. They were extremely influential for centuries (millennia if you take the standard chronology) after his death and were spread and shared from Russia to India to Yemen. These stories are considered later additions, fables added on by worshippers of Alexander’s legend. Naturally, we’ve totally forgotten them in the modern world even though we endlessly retell common themes and tropes from them without knowing their true origin.

One of these sets of tales are authored by Pseudo-Callisthenes.

Callisthenes was one of the historitors that Alexander the Great was said to have taken East with him. In the baseline secular histories, which we may as well refer to as “The Imperial Truth” for this essay, Alexander did indeed bring an entire court of philosophers and remembrancers and so on along with his campaign. The goal was to spread “Enlightenment” to the superstitious East at the point of a pike, remember? As an aside, Napoleon did the same when he went on campaign, imitating Alexander’s example. So, basically, the Pseudo-Callisthenes are therefore thought to be fakes written under the assumed name of an official historian in the court of Alexander to lend them legitimacy.

In these histories and fables, Alexander radically differs from the one that we are familiar with. First and foremost, his father is the last of the line of ancient Egyptian pharaohs, named Nectanebo II and there are several versions of how Alexander is conceived. Some say that the wily pharaoh tricks Alexander’s mother, Olympias, into sleeping with him by impersonating Ammon/Amun.

Others say that Nectanebo was actually indeed possessed by Ammun, who took the form of a divine serpent that impregnated Olympias with Alexander.

Now, this isn’t as fantastical as it sounds at first glance.

Because even in the Imperial Truth histories, we have Plutarch mentioning this strange episode in his Life of Alexander. He drops two bizarre details into the narrative that modern historians simply brush away. First, he mentions that Olympias was said to keep large serpents in her bed. And second, that Philip once allegedly saw a serpent lying beside Olympias in bed. This discovery is said to have "abated Philip's passion for her" and made him avoid her company. He was frightened, either thinking she was an enchantress or that she was a consort of a god, Zeus/Amon, which made him back off.

Either way, now we have the seed of the legend of Alexander’s divine conception.

And the debate over whether the Emperor was divine or not would eventually trigger the civil war in his world empire between his primarchs, known as the Diadochi Wars.

But let’s take this story step by step.

First of all, the Argead dynasty of Macedon claimed descent from Herakles centuries before Alexander. Specifically, the Macedonian kings traced lineage to Temenus, a Herakleid. Alexander therefore believed that he was a descendent of Herakles himself, and that he had a divine destiny. His conquests in Greece were also justified by the story of the Herakleidai, the exiled sons of Herakles, who returned to their Mycenaean homeland eventually and conquered all of the enemies who persecuted them. Personally, he even wore a lion-scalp helmet and cloak and he carried the distinct club as well.

He made sacrifices at Herakles’ shrines before campaigns and he explicitly framed his conquests as labors, like the ones Herakles was cursed to accomplish as penance by the Olympians for a crime that Herakles was largely innocent of (Hera made him mad so that he’d kill his own family).

Anyway, we talked about how Alexander was depicted with horns on religious iconography and on coins following his death. But the Romances take the imagery to the next level. In the Greek texts, Alexander is explicitly referred to as “the two-horned one” (δίκερως) and this carries over into other translations. In other words, his horns are part of his official title. And when he comes to Egypt, the priests of Ammun recognize him as the son of Ammun, the horned god. In certain versions of the Romances, Alexander is shown a mirror by a priest, and in it he sees his horns for the first time, which proves the priests’ prophecizing about his destiny.

In the Imperial Truth histories, this episode also occurs, but Alexander is fully human in this story — no horns and no magic involved. Alexander is simply initiated into the Ammon cult while in Egypt, and accepts his own divinity, mostly for political ends, marking his fall into superstition and the beginning of the schism within his own ranks between the “Aristotelians” and the “divine kings”.

Also, some of the versions of the Romances also claim that Alexander is already born with horns.

… now, I’m not arguing here or not not arguing about whether or not Alexander was a horned humanoid creature. I’m pointing out that it is very possible that the Romances came first, and that the Imperial Truth came later. One of the simplest arguments for this is that even mainstream historians believe that Alexander’s depiction as a horned man-deity occurred almost immediately after his death. Sanctuaries, shrines, coins and other art was commissioned with this motif.

But where then did this horn motif come from?

Now, this group was only organized in 2011 around three women, but the group that planned out the early and most artistically shocking and well-coordinated stunts was called Voina and it was created and run by a crazy man named Oleg Vorotnikov.

Nadya, the main face associated with Pussy Riot and the one that looked like Scarlett Johansson before all the plastic surgery is probably the hottest and nastiest girl out of the bunch. She came out of the Voina project and then led the Pussy Riot group, turning it into a more explicitly feminist thing.

Certainly, I’ve always wanted to get down and dirty with Nadya and I’m tired of pretending that she doesn’t turn me on. But then I’ve always had a weak spot for nasty whores who sport her kind of dark, ethnically ambiguous, “hurt me harder” look. Don’t you dare try and shame me for my sexual tastes. I have a God-given right to be attracted to these skanks and I’m tired of apologizing for it.

Anyway, over in America, their promoters like Masha Gessen (Jewish) and the US State Department (Jewish) don’t ever tell Americans what these Pussy Rioters got up to during their activism days in Russia. They just treat them like principled dissidents of Putin’s regime, battling for Democracy Values and Women’s rights.

Nadezhda/Nadya, the one who became the face of the group in the West, in particular, was famous for having gross, naked, public, pregnant sex all over the place to … smash the patriarchy, or whatever.

She’s even got an OnlyFans now, but she’s old now, so there hasn’t been much interest in leaking the contents, apparently. It saddens me to see yesteryears’s top-shelf skanks be left behind by the relentless bimbofication arms race waged by women against other women on social media. Me, I’m always going to be partial to the OGs and I don’t find the current crop of e-skanks that has taken the internet by storm all that arousing, frankly.

Anyway.

Putin only got around to imprisoning them because he accused them of an act of anti-Semitism after they attacked his buddy, the mayor of Moscow. When they trashed the Orthodox Church, or in the wake of their many anti-soldier, anti-military art-projects, Putin didn’t bat an eye. He was probably disarmed by Nadya’s sultry good looks at the time, just like I was.

As a result I bet no one told you the little story of how these girls were actually arrested, did they?

During a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin accused at least one member of the punk band Pussy Riot of having committed an anti-Semitic act.

Earlier, Merkel had criticized Russia for jailing three members of Pussy Riot for staging a protest against Putin inside a cathedral.

Putin claimed one Pussy Riot member, prior to the Moscow cathedral protest, had demanded that the city “should be gotten rid of” Jews.

“Does [Chancellor Merkel] know that previously one of [the Pussy Riot activists] hung an effigy of a Jew and said that these people should be gotten rid of?” Putin said. “You and I cannot support those who take an anti-Semitic stance. And I ask you to take that into account too.”

The group that organized the 2008 stunt, underground anarchist art collective Voina, said Putin is misrepresenting the protest.

In fact, the group said, the protest was an attack on intolerance. It was targeting the policies of then Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov, who took a hard line on fringe groups, illegal migrants, and homosexuals.

Pussy Riot members Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Yekaterina Samutsevichto are said to have taken part in that protest.

Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina [herself Jewish] were found guilty along with Samutsevich of hooliganism motivated by religious hatred.

Basically, their group was saying that the mayor was an anti-semiticite and used edgy imagery of a hanged Jew to draw attention to their art-protest, causing them to be accused of anti-semitism by Putin themselves because the actor that they used in their mock execution art stunt was a Jewish man who had planned the shock-art display in the first place. This still technically counts as a hate crime in Russia, apparently.

I kid you not, that’s how Putin got them arrested.

This just goes to prove that literally everything in Russia revolves around Jews.

These are just notes scribbled in Greek in the margins of manuscripts. Most are officially dated from the proceeding three centuries before the alleged birth of Jesus Christ. But others are written in Byzantine Greek on medieval manuscripts.
