There has been a change in management.

Hello readers! We haven’t spoken before, but I hope that we will become good friends going forward. My name is Rurik Skywalker and I am stepping in as a replacement for Rolo Slavskiy. People within Russia wrote to Rolo and told him that it would be better if he not write in both English and do a podcast in Russian because that would make it easier for him to be accused of being a foreign agent. After all, why would a God-fearing and patriotic Russian man need to know or write in English? This made a lot of sense to Rolo, so he has decided to stop reporting in English and focus on his personal life and write that great American novel about baseball and bubblegum that he’s been meaning to get around to his whole life. He reached out to me, his old drink-driving buddy and asked me to step in and write the blog going forward. After some cajoling and carousing I accepted.

So, with that, the reign of Rolo has ended here at Slavland Chronicles.

And now the reign of Rurik Skywalker begins. Stay tuned for articles featuring my cutting-edge analysis on the situation in the Slavlands. We are going to get better acquainted with one another over the next couple of weeks. I think you will find me a great improvement over that old bore anyways.

Also, you will now address me by my proper title going forward. I am far more than just a blogger or an Autocrat. I am the dark lord of this blog.
