Putin gave another banger of a speech recently. You can read it on the official Kremlin site in full.
It’s really remarkable how President Putin is literally the most erudite and right-wing Russian with any pull or power in the country. Now that Zhirinovsky committed death-by-vaxx-maxx no one allows themselves to speak as frankly and unapologetically as Putin does publicly. If this isn’t proof of the superiority of government-by-strongman, what could convince you at this point?
But people who ought to be to the right of Putin and demanding that the country become even more nationalistic patriotic than it already is simply don’t exist. The average Russian public thinker is a dope and a pussy. Only, occasionally, you have generals at home talking about the need to deport migrants and generals in Syria who talk about the need to bomb Israel.
There is literally no excuse NOT to be an “extremist” in Russia. You won’t go to jail for pointing out that the You-Know-Whos run Ukraine and their neocohen cousins run the West. Fag-bashing is a national pastime. Russian ethnic self-identity is affirmed even by slimy politicians and shifty newsmen.
I mean, Putin used to be considered a centrist and a Liberal. Now look at him. I’m almost upset because he’s pushing the Overton Window so far to the right that he’s making my job much harder. I’m scrambling to stay relevant by figuring out how to make my positions even more hardline than they already are.
Imperialism - a privilege of the elite.
Anyways:
If the West wanted to provoke a conflict in order to move on to a new stage in the fight against Russia and a new stage in containing our country, we can say that it has succeeded to a certain extent. A war was unleashed, and the sanctions were imposed. Under normal circumstances, it would probably be difficult to accomplish this.
But here is what I would you like to make clear. They should have realised that they would lose from the very beginning of our special military operation, because this operation also means the beginning of a radical breakdown of the US-style world order. This is the beginning of the transition from liberal-globalist American egocentrism to a truly multipolar world based not on self-serving rules made up by someone for their own needs, behind which there is nothing but striving for hegemony, not on hypocritical double standards, but on international law and the genuine sovereignty of nations and civilisations, on their will to live their historical destiny, with their own values and traditions, and to align cooperation on the basis of democracy, justice and equality.
Once again, Liberalism is presented as a totalitarian globalist project which Putin contrasts with Sovereignty and Multipolarity. I prefer to use the term Nationalism when writing to a Western audience, but at this point, it’s just not the word that the Kremlins want to use, so you’re just going to have to get used to deciphering Kremlinspeach.
Everyone should understand that this process cannot be stopped. The course of history is inexorable, and the collective West’s attempts to impose its new world order on the rest of the world are doomed.
At the same time, I want to say and emphasise that we have many supporters, including in the United States and Europe, and even more so on other continents and in other countries. And there will be more, no doubt about that.
To reiterate, even in the countries that are still satellites of the United States, there is a growing understanding that their ruling elites’ blind obedience to their overlord, as a rule, does not necessarily coincide with their national interests, and most often simply and even radically contradicts them. Eventually, everyone will have to face this growing sentiment in society.
Today, these ruling elites are raising the degree to which they manipulate the public consciousness right before our eyes. The ruling classes of the Western countries, which are supranational and globalist in nature, realised that their policies are increasingly detached from reality, common sense and the truth, and they have started resorting to openly despotic methods.
Stealing elections, freezing bank accounts, sending the secret police to intimidate, harass and arrest, shutting down all organized political dissent to the monoparty, etc.
The West, which once declared such principles of democracy as freedom of speech, pluralism and respect for dissenting opinions, has now degenerated into the opposite: totalitarianism. This includes censorship, media bans, and the arbitrary treatment of journalists and public figures.
Elon Musk has yet to deliver on free speech and Gab leaves a lot to be desired.
These kinds of prohibitions have been extended not only to the information space, but also to politics, culture, education, and art – to all spheres of public life in the Western countries. And, they are imposing this on the world; they are trying to impose this model, a model of totalitarian liberalism, including the notorious cancel culture of widespread bans.
Putin famously doesn’t use the internet. He reads folders or dossiers prepared for him by his team. Someone there must have finally picked up on the SJW thing and passed it on to the boss. About time.
However, the truth and reality is that the people in most of these countries do not want this life or this future, and really do not want the formal semblance of sovereignty, they want substantive, real sovereignty and are simply tired of kneeling, of humiliating themselves before those who consider themselves exceptional, and of serving their interests even to their own detriment.
“Brown people, your days are numbered.” - V. Putin.
Putin finished off his speech by channeling some serious anime-protagonist power:
Boring translation: Today we hear that they want to defeat us on the field of battle. What more can be said? They can try. We haven’t even starting fighting for real yet.
Better translation: I haven’t even revealed my true power level yet.
Vox Day says that this speech is proof that Putin is appealing to frens in the West:
Vladimir Putin’s special military operation was never about Ukraine, anymore than World War II was about Manchuria. Nor was it about his ego or his desire to resurrect the long-defunct Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. To the contrary, it has always been a war of a sovereign nation against the globalist army of NATO-Nazis, and if the nations of the world are very fortunate, the liberation of Luhansk will eventually be followed by the liberation of Eastern Europe, Western Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Japan.
I respectfully disagree.
You will know that the Russians are serious when they start inviting Western dissidents to set up governments-in-exile in Russia and reign in the internal elements who are undermining Russia’s preparations for a showdown with the West. As I’ve proven many times, there is a purge underway in the media, the oligarchy, the Church and so on. However, we still have a ways to go before Russia can truly nationalize itself and put itself on serious war footing with the West.
Once “active measures” are implemented, then the game is on for real.
It will probably take Russia several more years and several more jolts from the West before they really enter Total Voina mode. We’re making progress though - that much is undeniable. Soon the enemies of Russia will feel the arm.
I had long thought Putin was one of the brightest world leaders and did remarkable things, just like Xi is a very capable leader. Both care deeply about their own country.
But I used to think Putin was distracted by the power and wealth.
However, he is doing the work to free the world from the Beast. I hope he succeeds.
The US might rule as hegemon of the West (which is becoming smaller with the special operation). However, the people in America haven't ruled the country. The bankers have ruled America for over 100 years. Presidents can only bring about marginal change, and likely to be fraudulently installed like Biden.
The ruling oligarchy hates America, and would love to treat America like the Bolsheviks treated the Soviet Union in the 20s and 30s.
The world be a better place when sovereignty guides the dealings between countries.
Thank you
