The US and the satrapies under its control haven’t been sitting idly by. Emboldened by Kiev’s successes and no doubt pleasantly surprised by Russia’s reluctance to escalate, they have seized the opportunity to start escalating even more. There have been several developments that are worth mentioning.
First up, Brandon and his handlers have announced that they will be sending Patriot missile systems to Ukraine.
BBC:
The US is planning to send Patriot air defence missiles to Ukraine, US media reports say.
President Joe Biden is likely to announce the move this week, according to unnamed officials.
Ukraine has been requesting further air defence support for some time, as Russian attacks have continued to kill civilians and cause major blackouts.
Patriot is one of the most advanced US air defence systems but supplies to Ukraine are likely to be limited.
It is not known how many of the batteries will be sent to Ukraine.
Once the move is approved, the systems are likely to be sent over in the coming days, with Ukrainian soldiers trained to use them at a US Army base in Grafenwoehr, Germany, the officials said.
The Patriot system would be a legitimate target for Russian strikes, the Kremlin said on Wednesday.
I wonder if they will actually be sent to Germany. Despite their going along with the agenda for the most part, the Germans would be much happier to have these weapons delivered to Poland or the Czech Republic instead. This is because Germany, somehow, is still trying to not become an active participant in the war. They’re dragging their heels as best they can and the US is transferring it’s military facilities to Poland, which the government in Krakow is welcoming with open arms. The Polish government, in contrast, wants to be the new Germany with dozens of small and a few large Uncle Sam bases on their territory. They even famously offered to pay for the honor of being occupied when Trump was in office. “Fort Trump” was derided by the media when the idea was floated, but “the Bastille of Brandon” might very well soon become a reality.
This week, we also found out that NATO forces are already in Ukraine and operating in a combat capacity.
Royal Marines were deployed in Ukraine and took part in a series of 'high-risk' operations, a former commandant general has claimed.
The commandos were involved in 'discreet operations' and performed tasks in a 'hugely sensitive environment', according to Lieutenant General Robert Magowan - Britain's Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff and the former head of the Royal Marines.
The Ministry of Defence reported earlier this year that a small contingent of British military personnel was stationed in Ukraine to secure the British embassy in Kyiv and maintain the government's diplomatic presence there.
But Lt. Gen. Magowan's admission is the first time a senior military official has confirmed that British marines were deployed to Ukraine in the face of the Russian invasion.
First, it was considered Russian propaganda to say that NATO was already fighting in Ukraine. Now, the official line is that it is both stunning and brave that UK marines were helping the brave Ukrainians fight for their budding Judeo-Liberal Democracy values. The people who support the Trotskyite agenda of the West ought to have experienced extreme vertigo followed by bouts of nausea and vomiting from all the swerves in the official narrative. But, a quick check on #NAFO Twitter will show that they’ve taken their new talking points in stride.
Of course, this latest reveal was nothing more than a controlled narrative adjustment. The truth is that US troops are in Ukraine as well. So are Polish troops. There are paid mercenaries from all over the world fighting for Ukraine as well. We don’t know the official numbers, but it’s a helluva lot more than the 300 marines that have been admitted to now.
Amusingly, the arbiters of morality and truth over at the ADL gave their blessing to Azov recently.
A November 9 email from the Anti-Defamation League to The Grayzone provided a twisted defense of Ukraine’s Azov Battalion. Despite its self-proclaimed “anti-hate” mission, the ADL insisted in the email it “does not” consider Azov as the “far right group it once was.”
The Azov Battalion is a neo-Nazi unit formally integrated into the US government-backed Ukrainian military. Founded by Andriy Biletsky, who has infamously vowed to “lead the white races of the world in a final crusade…against Semite-led untermenschen,” Azov was once widely condemned by Western corporate media and the human rights industry for its association with Nazism. Then came the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
In the months that immediately followed, Azov led the Ukrainian military’s defense of Mariupol, the group’s longtime stronghold. As the militia assumed a frontline role in the war against Russia, Western media led a campaign to rebrand Azov as misunderstood freedom fighters while accusing its critics of echoing Kremlin talking points. The New York Times has even referred to the unit as the “celebrated Azov Battalion.”
It’s like that old saying: the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi a Nazi that fights for GloboShlomo’s interests.
Speaking of GloboShlomo, Zelensky participated in yet another fundraising drive with the G-7 countries.
BBC:
Leaders of the G7 group of rich nations have said they will back Ukraine for "as long as it takes" in the wake of Monday's major Russian missile strikes.
The group, which met for emergency virtual talks, said it would keep on giving military and humanitarian aid.
Nato also said it would stand with Ukraine for as long as necessary.
…
Western leaders were quick to condemn the Russian escalation, and the G7 on Tuesday reiterated its commitment to Ukraine.
"We will continue to provide financial, humanitarian, military, diplomatic and legal support and will stand firmly with Ukraine for as long as it takes," the group said in a statement.
The bloc also condemned Mr Putin's recent attempts to annex four regions of Ukraine with self-styled referendums.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked the G7 for further air defence capabilities.
***He also asked the alliance to support an international mission on the Ukraine-Belarus border.
Why Zelensky even bothered to go begging to the West for more money and weapons initially confused me. It seemed obvious that Kiev would be propped up against Moscow for as long as they were able to inflict damage on Russian troops. But, I suppose there is some nuance here to consider in that the US first didn’t think that Ukraine could hold for long and didn’t want to lose all the weapons it sent over, which was what started the Zelensky’s repeated pledge drive efforts in the first place. To put pressure on his allies to stop being so stingy, Zelensky had to show that Ukraine was capable of holding against Russia, which he did, which led us to the situation that we face today, where the US is now comfortable providing more.
Kiev also wants more shells, which may or may not be running out at this point, and for tanks and APCs and heaps and heaps of money. War quite literally burns up wealth and resources like nothing else does. Equipment that takes time, energy, raw materials, labor and training to use and operate gets destroyed over the course of the war and all that money evaporates. While I’m not against Keynesian-style public spending to jog an economy in general, building a tank and then having it destroyed and then building another tank (a variant of the broken window approach) consumes resources even if it increases money velocity or whatever (does it? I forget). As a result, countries get poorer the more resources they have to invest into a war and the potential benefits of a won war have to at least match the investments for it to make any sense.
Will sending huge piles of cash to Ukraine ever make the average UK citizen better off? That is very very unlikely. In the meantime, average people are apparently freezing to death on that island.
Don’t you worry though, the fresh new wave of New Britons flooding into the country are being housed, fed and kept warm. Also, the UK peasants seem to think that this is well worth the cost. This, despite the fact that most can’t even find the Ukraine on a map. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
‘Ate Russkies. Love Ukies. Simple as.
Also, in the US, where the cost of financing the war isn’t nearly as high, it seems that a solid 50+% of the public supports it because the media which has lied to them about everything else has told them to support some fresh new stupidity.
It’s our values, it’s who we are.
But it’s whatever at this point. It is the lot of the peasant and has been since time immemorial: to be lied to, to taken advantage of and then expected to rationalize it all away to themselves because no one wants to admit that they’ve been duped and that they’re essentially powerless. The first step in finding a solution is admitting that you have a problem. And so long as the peasants continue to mentally role-play as very important responsible citizens participating in a sacred political process they’ll continue to get abused. It’s like the kid who got bullied in school, but who pretended that the bullies were his friends even though he was actually their punching bag.
There’s a certain dignity, at least, in not lying to yourself.
*** So the Belarus thing is interesting, actually.
I was under the impression that Lukashenko was going to keep his powder dry and not get his country involved any more than he had to. The news of Russian deployments to Belarus in the fall I chalked up to an actual strategic feint on the part of the Russians to tie up Ukrainians in the north. Now though, there seems to more reports rumors corroborating a serious military build-up. And now military preparedness drills and checks.
RBC:
A sudden check of combat readiness is being carried out on behalf of the Belarusian president, the troops will have to advance to the designated areas, carry out their engineering equipment, organize security and defense, the Ministry of Defense indicated.
Also, some people on Twitter are talking about it, for what it’s worth.
Does this mean that Belarus will actually deploy their own troops or will they just allow Russia to use their territory like last time? Or, is it still a feint?
Well, Belarus providing actual support in the form of troops would definitely help Russia out. Russia has millions of people to call up for military service, but they seem to be having trouble mobilizing quickly and there is significant resistance within the country by a powerful lobby, clearly.
Belarus, despite being much much smaller than Russia, is also run much much better. I mean it is so obvious that even Russians are shocked when they visit by what they see. I’m serious - I had friends come over from Moscow and St. Petersburg and they were totally shocked at how different it was from the bardak that they were used to. Also, Belarus is a de facto ethnostate - that probably plays a factor in how well its run.
Even if they don’t have a giant manpower reserve, they would be able to deploy the ready troops that they have quickly. Furthermore, an attack from the north would shift the war front closer to the area where support for killing Russians is higher. The fact that this war has been fought mostly on pro-Russian territories is not good. Not good at all.
But I’m not making a hard prediction on this one either way. Ultimately, it depends almost entirely on Luka, who actually is the closest thing to an actual Authoritarian leader with actual control over his own government. And Belarus, by the way, is an extremely impressive country considering what they have been able to do with the resources that they had in hand. Sometimes I wonder what could have been if Luka had become president in Russia instead of Putin.
If we just take what happened in Belarus and apply it to what might have happened in Russia, then the factories wouldn’t have been cannibalized. The free socialist stuff from the USSR that the proletarians got used to would still exist and would be run well. There would be no COVID lockdowns either - Luka wasn’t having any of that. Potential color revolution? Luka literally grabbed an AK, linked up with his son and slapped the whores and their simps screaming in the streets of Minsk down.
It’s a shame that he never got to unload a magazine or two into the crowd, but, Luka is a gentleman, a scholar and a kinder man than I.
Even the spooks in Belarus treated me better than the FSB right across the border.
But yeah, I’ve gone totally off-tangent with this one. Let’s see what happens next.
I love Luka.
I spent some time in Belarus a year ago and it's a nice place. A breath of fresh air from the multicultural slog that pollutes the senses here in the west. It's clean and pretty organized. I talked to quite a few people there and the fact of the matter is most of them don't like Luka and want him gone. The going phrase is "Imagine Bill Clinton being your president for 20 years". They want something new and I suppose that's understandable. But what they don't know is what'll be in store for them if Luka leaves. Western values will pour in and it will turn their beautiful country into a garbage dump. I originally visited because of Luka's stance on the covid lie. He didn't shut down his country so it became the new hotspot for liberty-loving expats from all over the world. Great place highly recommend. 😁
I think it`s about time we took " The West " seriously when it keeps on stating day after day week after week that it has zero intentions of giving up the war against Russia . Defeating Ukraine is only the hors deuves in this conflict and that is far from being achieved by Russia at this moment . All major wars in history have started slowly and escalated through time and territory lost or gained and this is no different . I discount a nuclear war taking place but make no mistake this is WORLD WAR THREEE and there is no good outcome for us peasants on all sides and no there is nothing we can do about it.
