With thanks to Marko from Anti-Empire for finding the clips.
While part of Russian society suffers a psychological meltdown, another part appears to be taking it in stride. Many mobiki are eager for their adventure to start and their local towns are sending them to war with cheers of support.
Some clips that you won’t see:
I’m sorry if I dwell too much on the breathtaking and reckless f*gotry of Russia’s chattering intelligentsia and the spoiled brat big-city youth (the mazhors).
In a just world, the lads in these videos would march on Moscow and beat the living snot out of all of them, save the country and go on to sire many sons.
We may yet even live to see such a day. It is my great hope to see these vets start taking a greater position in Russian society upon their return from the war. After having fought and bled for Russia, these men ought to feel entitled to a greater say in what happens next.
There is precedent for this: the cult of the Russian vet after WWII was quite strong. Afghanistan and Chechnya, for one reason or another, did not produce the same effect.
Since mobilization is the talk of the day, we’ll have to follow how it unfolds closely. Luckily, I have some buddies who have been mobilized recently. We’ll have to snag an interview from one of them as soon as they’re rotated out to see how it went for them. Also, we need to check in with Comrade Krieger again.
So yeah, I’ll keep you posted.
But, for now, it’s worth remembering that a lot of young men have been looking forward to this and are marching off to war with a smile on their lips and are taking selfies with their unit comrades.
Russia remains a serious country because big-city Liberals remain the minority in the country for now.
We have to do something about them eventually though, of that I have no doubt.
Always heartening to see men willing and able to defend their ancestral land.Good shit.
I always appreciate reading The Slavland Chronicles. Living in the USA, where trans-sexuals are heralded and patriotism has become a joke, it is good to read about people who are proud of their country and willing to protect it.
The psy-ops and propaganda are becoming ridiculous. For eight days, ALL the media is saying the referendum is a fraud and that Russia blew up its own pipeline (wouldn't it have been easier to turn the faucet?).
Good luck to all who support traditional values and an end to fascism. May God be with President Putin and all his troops.
