Well the title says it all. There is some buzz about the new book that was written about Prigozhin and his insider dealings. Its publication is banned in Russia for reasons that I don’t really understand other than some vague insinuations of disloyalty and the flagrant flouting of the free speech principles in the Russian constitution. After all, officially, Prigozhin was still a hero of Russia and he died in a tragic accident. So, on what grounds am I supposed to be outraged about this book? Is it the opposite then? That the book is discrediting one of the most loyal Russian commanders of the Not-War?
Who knows.
Point being, its banned and so ZAnon won’t talk about it, which means I am once again the only game in town willing to talk about this topic.
Here is a review of it from the Permanent Liberal Opposition.
The book « Our business is death », tells about Yevgeny Prigozhina and PMC « Wagner », and is printed and is already going to stores around the world (except, of course, in Russia and Belarus). That means you can order it is on our website right now — and become one of its first readers. The authors of the book — journalists Ilya Barabanov and Denis Korotkov. Buying our books, you help us fight for freedom of speech. Thanks!
So, the writers are prominent Trotskyites who had to move to the West. I think they’re both in trouble for “rehabilitating Nazism”. This is Orwell-speak for supporting Kiev. They aren’t Nazis though — they’re Libtards. Putin and his friends call anyone they don’t like Nazis though. So, the shtetlites running Kiev are Nazis. The West is Nazi. The patriotic anti-Kremlin groups in Russia are Nazis. The Islamist terrorists are Nazis. You either support Putin or you are a Nazi, essentially.

Eugene Prigozhin has many faces. He is a master of post-truth and a restaurateur. The creator of « troll factories » and — the main Internet troll of the 2020s. Soviet thief and grand Russian corrupt official. Owner of a private army fighting on different continents. Adventurer, killer, rebel. And the man who, apparently, very much scared Vladimir Putin.
Journalists Ilya Barabanov (« BBC Russian Service ») and Denis Korotkov (Center « Dossier ») studied the internal documents of the PMC « Wagner » and collected countless evidence of real mercenaries to comprehend this phenomenon. Their book « Our business is death » — is the most complete history of PMC « Wagner », and we are very happy and proud to report that it has finally been published. We release it in partnership with our friends from the foundation StraightForward Foundation — he takes care that you can read the uncensored non-fiction about Russia.

The finale of the book invented life itself
Work on the text of the Drums and Korotkov began at the end of 2021. When Russia introduced troops to Ukraine, the authors decided that the history of « Wagner » in the book would end with the war — « Wagnerites » took the most prominent part in it. However, it was at this point that the most interesting thing began: the recruitment of prisoners in Russian prisons, the open conflict of Prigozhin from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the transformation of Prigozhin into a leader of the patriotic opposition (« Shoigu, Gerasimov, where, cyka, is the ammunition?») — and, finally, the rebellion of « Wagnerites », which met almost no resistance from the army and security forces. All these incredible events, of course, are described and explained in the book.
You know who else wrote about Wagner and how they almost pulled off the coup?
Thas rite!
Where is my Pulitzer, NATO-Analists???
*ahem*
This is a collection of amazing stories about the life of real thugs, which in modern Russia have become the most important heroes
Most of these — stories about personal life, hobbies, character traits and professional path not only of « Wagner » leaders, but also ordinary mercenaries.
For example, the military career of « Wagner » Yevgeny Alikova from a small town in the Arkhangelsk region developed rapidly — and ended as in a movie. Since 2014, he fought in eastern Ukraine, where Russia provoked an armed conflict, — and already in 2017 died in Syria.
A few days later, a man arrived in Severonezhsk and brought a coffin and money: five million rubles as an insurance payment for the death of Alikov. Both the body and the cash he drove in his car from Rostov-on-Don — about two thousand kilometers. The man simply laid out the money on the kitchen table of Atyusheva [mother Yevgeny Alikova] — packs of five thousand bills pulled by elastic.
Another striking fact from the book: Dmitry Utkin, one of the key people in the history of the PMC (« Wagner » — this is his call sign), participant in « codification of Ukraine », in internal documents, instead of signing, he painted the SS runes — and referring to Prigozhina, wrote « Heil Petrovich».
Notice the SS bolts in Utkin’s letter.
Yeah, ZAnon bizarrely tried to claim that Utkin wasn’t an esoteric Hitlerist. They said the story was made up. But it wasn’t. Utkin was a neo-pagan too. Most importantly though he was a pro-Russian, a true warrior, and one of the great heroes of modern day Russia. I can’t think of anyone who really matches his pedigree or can hold a candle to his accomplishments on the battlefield. But, for obvious reasons, he didn’t fit into the “Antifa Army of Jesus” propaganda narrative, so he had to first be ignored and then lied about and then defamed.
But I covered him honestly.
I never attacked him for his personal political views for money.
I may be immoral or amoral, but at least I am not a liar.
This is one of the archival documents that can be seen in « Our business — death »
As for Prigozhin himself, from the text of Korotkov and Barabanov you can find out that in 2003 he wrote a children's fairy tale « Indraguzik » (!) — and published it in a small print run. The book tells about the adventures of a little man who can hide in the most unexpected places. The businessman wanted to write a sequel:
The first book — is the world of my childhood, in the second I am going to describe the adventures of Indraguzik in the modern world. And — our Indraguzik in this book helped the king and saved the kingdom, in the future book he must do something heroic.
However, instead of writing the second volume, Prigozhin apparently decided to do « something heroic » himself.
An ambitious man, this Evgeniy Prigozhin.
This book allows you to at least slightly regain control over reality and answer the question: « And how is all this possible? »
Talking about the life of Prigozhin, the authors show the mechanisms of the mafia state, which is no longer even trying to pretend to be democratic. And through the personal stories of mercenaries, — explain why the PMC « Wagner » gained such extraordinary popularity among the unfortunate military and former prisoners.
Here are the words of the Wagner Stanislav Bogdanov. He beat a judge in Novgorod to death, served half a term, recruited « Wagner » and was released:
I believe that the [Wagner] opened the door for me. This company is expanding, not leaving its own. We will always have money. We will have work, even if this war is over. I have new comrades, new friends, a new family.
Korotkov and Barabanov — the main specialists in « Wagner ». And they are the perfect non-fiction duet
Firstly, for eight years they painstakingly collected the most complete archive of internal documents « Wagner » and the Pogozhinsky holding « Concord ». These materials, along with evidence of real « Wagnerites » formed the basis of the book.
Secondly, the approaches of the authors are perfectly complementary. Denis Korotkov scrupulously refers to documents, his texts contain an impeccable evidence base. Ilya Barabanov sensitively observes the emotions of people, and also knows how to explain how the history of the PMC fits the context of the country's history.
Intrigued?
I want to learn more about Wagner’s occult beliefs.
If you guys want me to get my hands on the book and to review it myself and summarize it in English, you should let me know in the comments section.
Look, I’ll make you guys a deal.
If I can get 10 people to sign up as Stalkers, I’ll do it. When signing up, you can leave me a note, which I will read, so just mention that you want the review.
I think this is fair, no?

I'd like to see the review. However, I'm already a paid subscriber, so my preference does not translate directly into a new membership. I should add, if it weren't for the Slavland Chronicles, I wouldn't have had any idea that Prigozhin was anything other than a talented and publicity-wise gang leader.
