Big Duma Investigation Reveals That Shoigu Stole 11 Trillion Roubles From the Russian Military as Officers Wanted For Questioning Drop Dead in Prison
Who could have expected it!
You’ve heard the phrase, “war is a racket,” before, yes?
Everyone has. And yet, each time we are so shocked and surprised when the latest war ends up being the same racket as the ones before it. Each time! Rake meet foot!!
Anyway, the headline today really does say it all. I almost have nothing to add to this news at this point.
Here:
State Duma Deputy Delyagin Reports ₽11 Trillion Rubles Stolen in the Russian Defense Ministry
Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Mikhail Delyagin spoke about the scale of theft in the Russian Defense Ministry . He posted the corresponding message on his Telegram channel.
According to him, under the former head of the Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, 11 trillion rubles were stolen.
“Now, during a discussion of strategic planning issues in the State Duma, a mathematician named the specific scale of theft in the Ministry of Defense under the previous minister: 11 trillion rubles,” the deputy wrote.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has found itself at the center of corruption scandals. In particular, on May 13, the head of the Main Personnel Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Yuri Kuznetsov , was detained — the general is suspected of receiving a bribe. Before that, security forces detained Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Ivanov , he is also suspected of receiving a bribe. According to investigators, Ivanov received kickbacks from government contracts in the construction sector.
Of course this isn’t the full amount. But even admitting to these colossal levels of fraud is truly something, isn’t it? This is literally several YEARS worth of the official defense budget being stolen.
And he seemed like such a nice guy!
The latest information we have about previous years spending seems to confirm the shocking scale of this theft. Here:
For 2023, defense spending in the budget law is set at 4.98 trillion rubles, or 17.1% of the approved total expenditure. Accordingly, in the first two months, the authorities have already spent more than 40% of the annual plan on this area.
According to the results of 2022, the authorities spent 5.51 trillion rubles on defense, or 17.7% of total spending for the year, compared to 3.57 trillion rubles, or 14.4%, in 2021.
So if we add up the figures of 5 + 5.5 + 3.5 we get 14 trillion roubles. Shoigu and his cronies managed to steal 11 trillion. Shoigu has been around since 2012 so that amounts to almost 1 trillion a year in theft? This is far worse than I had expected.
But these numbers are hard to truly analyze.
How much of the money was made through contracting deals between private firms and the MoD that Shoigu got kickbacks for? How much was stolen directly from the budget as phantom divisions were raised or recruits sent to the front with no kit or lack of weapons and ammo? It is hard to say.
With this information being allowed to come out though, perhaps it is proof that Shoigu will indeed finally be prosecuted and that he will continue to be pilloried in the media. These media broadsides usually precede the beginning of a legal campaign mounted against a public figure.
And hey, do you know who called for Shoigu’s resignation since the very start of the SMO/Not-War? Yours truly. And I was told by ZAnonists like Aussie Uzbek on livestream that I would be punished for speaking out against The Shoigu. Now though? Well, his political star has fallen so I suppose it will be OK to notice these details as part of a campaign to puff up the new Minister of Defense as a fighter against corruption or something.
Remember: patriotism is simply a matter of timing, not much more.
And now for some reactions on Telegram as per tradition. From a massive pro-Z channel:
So (https://t.me/delyagin/32875) what happens?
That the Murzes and Strelkovs, who tried to draw public attention to the problems for years, YEARS, called for an understanding of these crimes, said how it would all end up, turns out they were right in everything.
And those who said that everything was fine, everything was according to plan, everyone who shut their mouths, while licking the bosses’ ass until the anus was completely erased - now where are they?
And then they COVERED UP THE CRIMES!
Consciously or not, for personal gain or out of stupidity?
Wouldn't it be nice for the investigation to figure it all out? Yes??
But, alas.
INDEED.
Anyway the rest is just more howling and gnashing of teeth.
…
In the meantime, MoD officials wanted for questioning are dropping dead like flies. Here:
Two close associates of former Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Timur Ivanov died on the same day. We are talking about 52-year-old businessman Igor Kotelnikov and 61-year-old head of the Defense Ministry's state expertise department, Colonel General Magomed Khandayev. Both died on July 8.
Khandayev was directly subordinate to Ivanov, was questioned by the investigation as a witness in the case and was not in the pretrial detention center. The cause of his death is not stated.
The funeral of the head of the Defense Ministry's state expert department took place in his native village of Genta in the Shamilsky District of Dagestan .
His relatives, friends and colleagues were present.
Perhaps one of these assassinations is related in some way to the large scale unrest and terrorism popping off in Dagestan right now?
Kotelnikov died in a punishment cell in the capital's pretrial detention center
Entrepreneur Igor Kotelnikov, accused of bribing senior officials of the Ministry of Defense, died in the capital's SIZO-4 "Medved" due to heart problems. According to Eva Merkacheva , a member of the Human Rights Council (HRC) , his death was related to the conditions of detention in the punishment cell.
It is shocking how many political prisoners die in their cells in Russia. In this, they are doing a great job in keeping up with Ukraine.
But hey, maybe these people simply all died from their clot shots. Like, that is a distinct possibility to some degree. Shit, even I now have family that got heart-attacks from taking the clot shot. They even went ahead and did it despite me throwing an absolute fit and forcing them to promise that they wouldn’t. At the time, I figured that saving a life was more important than committing a social faux pas even though it strained relations and caused estrangement. But, well, even after all that, a quick phone call with their devout Orthodox half-gypsy fortune-teller-healer-charlatan and they were convinced to sneak out when I wasn’t around to get stealth-vaxxed, apparently. They even paid for the privilege of getting the shot even though it was supposed to be free. Bravo. You should see this woman, folks. Fat as a blimp, covered in red rashes all the time, huffing and puffing around and being worshipped like a Hindu cow by the cowed peasants at her clinic. All of whom are Orthodox, mind you.
None of them who know what it means though.
See, superstition is the only true, perennial religion of the peasant masses and the name of this religion’s true god is fright. Everything that they do is a libation to their patron deity.
Why did they vote for Zelensky? Because a Facebook fortune-teller warned them of grave consequences if they didn’t. Why did they eventually get baptized? Fear of not going to heaven. Why do they worship Yahweh? Because he is a wrathful, vindictive, and vengeful god that will punish them if they don’t. Why do they worship Stalin? Because he killed millions of them in his camps and in his retarded war. Why did they get the clot shot? Because they were afraid of COVID and offending their guardian angels, apparently. Why do women love cruel men? Why do dogs pine for cruel masters? Why do the vast majority of people continue worshipping an elite that hates them.
It is because of senseless, cloying, never-ending fright.
Maybe we should share a silent prayer for the vaxxed people still in our lives. Most of them are probably not long for this world. Seems silly to bear a grudge I suppose. It probably isn’t their fault that they made bad decisions. Some people are just born destined for a life of frightful obedience.
It is what it is.
Anyway.
Whatever you feel about Navalny or Tesak or Lira or the countless others who end up dying mysteriously in prison, the fact of that matter is that the rule of law does not really exist in the Slavlands, especially not when it comes to prisons. I don’t hold high hopes for Strelkov making it out in one piece, even though he is a spook.
And worse, it is some sort of sick rite of passage or something to be thrown into a hole or a prison camp for some time in Russia. It feels like every single Russian of note has had to go through this experience at some point in their lives. Me, I blame centuries of xenocrat rule for this state of affairs. There is no worse fate for any peoples than to be ruled over by foreigners.
But you guys are learning that hard lesson for yourselves now, aren’t you?
Soon, a prison sentence will become a rite of passage in America for anyone worth a damn as well. But you guys still have some ways to go to catch up to the levels of tyranny that are so commonplace in the Slavlands.
They straight-up just torture prisoners in heinous ways in Slavlands prisons as a matter of routine. If anything, it seems to have gotten worse since Soviet times. Turns out they just threw this officer into a sauna until he popped from the heat.
Merkacheva noted that sending someone to a punishment cell in hot weather is only possible in extreme cases. Staying there in the hot weather, she added, is practically impossible.
The prisoners suffer there. (…) In general, the entire fifth building is known for the huge number of punishment cells there — more than 30, the largest number in all the pretrial detention centers in Moscow. (…) The prisoners there always complained about the conditions. (…) There have already been deaths there.
The moral of this story is: don’t let them take you alive.
People ought to try the solitary confinement test on themselves when they have some free time to do so. Set up an uncomfortable cot in a nearly airless, but smelly basement room and lock yourself in with nothing to do or read or fiddle around with. For food, give yourself crackers and water twice a day. Sit there for 3 days and then see how you feel about life and some of the advice I’ve brought up on this blog.
Wouldn’t you regret not having learned how to meditate while you’re bashing your head into your cot out of boredom and to get the voices in your head to stop needling you with worries and doubts? If you don’t believe me, listen to what Viktor But said about his long incarceration in America and stints in isolation.
Worse, wouldn’t you regret letting them take you alive?
Anyway x2
The worst news is that the Russian general who stopped the southern Ukrainian counter-offensive is still rotting away in prison over “corruption” charges. From what we can tell, he didn’t fill out the proper paperwork for requisitioning supplies and redistributing it to his men on the eve of the UAF attack. Thus, he is being charged with stealing. In the meantime, Colonel Kvachkov reports on rumors that Shoigu’s friends are going to get off with a light slap on the wrist while General Popov is thrown into a deep dark hole for a very long time. Here:
In general, it seems that Rafik Timur Ivanov will ultimately be ruled completely innocent, and the main corrupt official in the Defense Ministry will be General Popov, to whom another, already deceased general transferred a whole million rubles to his card. Did you expect something different from crooked justice controlled by the boys?
Strelkov is a terrible extremist who discredits the RF Armed Forces, Kvachkov is also a terrible discrediter, General Popov is the main corrupt official, and Shoigu and the other guys are the most honest guys who have devoted their entire lives to serving the Fatherland.
Orwell, "1984".
Actually, this whole situation remind me of the plot of the film “War” which is somewhat banned in Russia. All the good guys end up in prison while the bad guys make lots of money for killing Russians and Moscow is portrayed as being in cahoots with the people that they were supposedly at war with. All of this is true, by the way.
I don’t care what Serb says, you should watch this film. It has subtitles:
I’m reminded of a quote by the Chechen in it:
You’re stupid and weak and led by half-wits (…) do you know why you fight badly? Because you are not fighting for your homeland. You fight because you have been herded out here like sheep.
Truth is truth, even if it comes out of the mouth of … one of those things.
…
Also: by reading my blog you are at least two years ahead of the learning curve of the rest of the masses. No other conclusion is possible. In fact, I am far too moderate in my criticisms of the Moscow cabal. Never in my wildest fantasies did I think such a large amount was being stolen, amounting to several years worth of budgets or that they would just straight-up start killing off officers or arresting war heroes.
I should readjust my analyses and become even more pessimistic. Alas, that kind of analysis doesn’t pay very well. I am still in a deficit these last three months.
This is because being right doesn’t pay. Lying, however, does. And yet people still wonder why I am such a metaphysical pessimist? I actually agree with Protestants on everything, really. Serve Yahweh and your life will become very easy indeed.
Prove this surly Slav wrong, casual readers. Support the blog. I’ve earned your support several times over by now.
It's like Russian MOD takes lessons in stealing money from the US DOD, who stole at least $20 trillion between 1998 and 2015, and by now it's something like $35 trillion. They never passed a financial audit, never intent to, and in 2018 Trump approved the legislation that allows them to keep secret books (FASAB56). That's partially why I think his assassination attempt was probably staged.
I share this opinion which is unrelated to this most recent article because I wish to express this on a forum I have grown to trust. The readers of this forum have proven themselves to be some of the most open-minded men and women I have had the good fortune to associate with, however remote our colloquy is: I believe this "attempted assassination" of Trump is a load of crap. It looks and feels completely staged, from the lack of blood on his right hand to the lack of any sort of a reaction from the crowd behind him other than to pantomime Trump's duck and cover move to the absolutely ludicrous idea that a rooftop that close to The Spook State's Public Enemy #1 would be left unsecured, to the Made For Memes, Flags, And T-Shirts "defiant" image of Trump giving the Black Power fist as he is hustled away by the Secretion Service, this whole things reeks. This is political theater of the most base and crass variety, all intended to shake the masses into their respective corners to prepare to duke it out in Civil War 2: The Suckening. I feel like a buffoon for even bothering to mention it here. Somehow, I simply felt compelled to. Now then. On to bigger and better things. ladies and gents. I've got birds and squirrels to feed and a puppy to play with. Peace be unto you all, some day.
