What I appreciate so much about your blog is you tell a reality totally missing from the usual sources of information about the Ukraine war. I listen to the Duran regularly. It actually galls me the Duran membership is higher than yours, and truthfully, I'd consider you worth at least as much. Do you have some alternative avenues to getting contributions, such as "Buy me a coffee"?

Dealing with the substance of your information, it seemed the base objective of the SMO was to prevent another country bordering Russia from joining NATO. In that case, was the NATO membership of Sweden and Finland not at least as great a tragedy for Russia as Ukraine membership? The rationale seemed to be that a nuclear attack launched from Ukraine would give less warning than an attack from, say, Finland. But even since the 60's, the USSR had independent, submarine-launched nuclear missiles capable of obliterating much of the US. So, even a surprise attack from Ukraine would be suicidal for the NATO countries and the US in particular.

Finally, I'm quite certain the US ruling class is prepared to carry out a devastating war against the US as soon as they gain some breathing room. Or, actually, they have already begun the war in earnest. The Biden administration has issued rules saying commercial transport trucks have got to be all-electric by 2035 or so. Rules like this are obviously going to kill the US as a viable economic or cultural entity. I guess they've got to eliminate Russia and China as nationalist threats before finally pulling the plug on the US as a national entity.

Nice post. A couple things to note about Trump the Peaceful:

1. According to this memo on Politico back from February, the Ukraine supplemental includes a hidden impeachment clause against Trump if he tries to withdraw the U.S. from supporting the Ukraine war: https://www.politico.com/f/?id=0000018d-9dc3-d2c1-afdd-fff773190000 . I don't know if that clause was in the final bill that was passed (why wouldn't it be?) but Trump ate a big, humiliating loss regardless by backtracking on peace as the horrible bill passed as globohomo stooge McConnell gloated: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-held-his-tongue-on-ukraine-aid-mcconnell-says-it-may-have-made-the-difference/ar-AA1nEH8z

2. The unelected civil service in D.C. has burrowed in like a tic and made it essentially impossible for Trump to fire them, per here: https://theupheaval.substack.com/p/democracy-means-never-having-to-hear

Given these factors, if Trump is allowed to win in November it would both be likely to preside over something bad - a major economic crisis followed by introduction of CBDCs? Republicans won't complain too much because Trump is at the helm? - and with his hands tied...
