Should I start doing a podcast? Would you listen to it?
I used to do one before with my buddies, but this time around it will have to be solo, at least at first. Maybe someone that I know will be spurred out of lethargy and shyness into joining me as a co-host in the future if I just start on my own for now.
I also think a 20-30 minute format would be the best. Just honing in on the latest news regarding the war, the internal situation in Russia, and some good old Liberal bashing to top it off.
Let me know what you think in the comments below.
I personally like to consume information by reading, however, to reach a wider audience podcasting appear to be quite popular.
I will only read as will most people I know. Podcasts/videocasts are completely inefficient -- I have to give up one minute for each minute you speak. Just do not have time for that kind of inefficiency. A surprising number of us agree.
Having said that, some people are aural rather than visual learners and prefer the podcast format. So if you have the time/inclination of course you should do it. But I beg you, get an auto-transcriber and transcribe the podcast and post the two together. The autotranscribers are inexpensive and pretty accurate. I can live with the 3% errors -- and can virtually always know what was actually said. Then you satisfy both communities.
Just one man's opinion.
