I Hereby Endorse Arestovich For Imperial Xenocrat of the Galactic Ukraine Empire!
May his reign be merciless!
Our man with the plan, Aleksei Arestovich, was in the news again recently because of another one of his epic rants directed at the Ukrainian peasantry went semi-viral.
NV:
Former adviser to the Office of the President Oleksiy Arestovich got into yet another scandal commenting on why Ukrainians should elect him as the next head of state.
He said this during one of the broadcasts of the political observer and publicist Yuri Romanenko.
Arestovich reacted to comments from Ukrainians that because of his harsh statements, the people would not vote for him in the upcoming presidential election.
“I want to ask you, damn it, damn it! If you don't vote for me, who will be worse off? Think with your stupid head, bl * d! I'll sit on a yacht, after the war is over, in the Pacific and eat lobster and teach seminars. What will happen to you if you don't vote for me? Think, your head is stupid,” Arestovich answered.
He claims that Ukrainians are trying to " deceive themselves" and "not come to reality."
According to him, the Ukrainian people “want to hear stories that they are great, bright and glorious”, always praise themselves and do not admit that they have certain shortcomings.
Did Arestovich write that or did Rolo?
How the peasants want to pat themselves on the back and pretend to be all these things that they are not! They’re too clever to get tricked, you see? The world is divided into scammers and suckers and every single person who repeats that phrase thinking that they are the scammers are actually the suckers. Few want to acknowledge how pathetic and powerless they really are. To prove to themselves that they are actually really important, the average peasant will go to extreme lengths and perform acrobatic feats of mental gymnastics.
Less resourceful types resort to kicking puppies and pulling the wings off flies to bolster their own fragile egos while others turn to religion, traditionally. Few have the humility to admit that they are the butt of this century and last’s cruel joke!
“Who will you choose? You will choose the one who will tell you how glorious and great you are, but will not say a word how bad you are. So they, idiots, will rape your daughters, run over your sons with a car, exploit you, and you will sell everything to them. Sell your future, the future of your children and your well-being,” said the former adviser to the OP.
Arestovich added that he wants to stand between the system that "exploits and devours" Ukrainians.
“I’m trying to save you idiots,” he says.
Wow.
I feel Arestovich’s pain here. Really, I do. I scream the same words at my ungrateful casual readers every day for all the good it does me.
I got shivers running down my spine reading his latest truth screed.

Who is Aleksei Arestovych though?
Aleksei’s father was a Pole living in Belarus and his mother was a Russian from Russia, and he was born in Georgia himself, making him a Ukrainian, naturally:
Every step of the way with this conflict, Arestovich has been eerily forthright and honest about what has been occurring behind the scenes of the war. He was the first to state all the way back in December and January that Kiev would make a push on Zaporozhye and that this would be the final action of the war at which point negotiations would begin, territories would be swapped and a new narrative crafted to placate both societies. He got some details wrong, like, he seemed to indicate that the offensive on the south was a done deal, a negotiated victory like the previous two pushes.
As we now know, the UAF was shocked to find stiff resistance there instead of a hasty retreat like the previous times.
Funny enough, people on the Ukrainian side are saying that it was all Washington’s fault. That the UAF was sabotaged, presumably because of bad intel and false promises. Frankly, it is hard to explain what happened any other way. Either that or the UAF are just extreme hapless comic book villains. Judging by Twitter, Western Z-NPCs prefer the latter narrative. How then is it that the great Khan Shoigu has failed to make any gains against such a comically incompetent enemy? This obvious follow-up question simply doesn’t get asked, of course.
Is it too much to ask for some consistency from the Z-cultists?
Of course Arestovich has a colorful past in his own right. He used to be friends with Alexander Dugin and before he joined the Kiev government as the top PR guy for a while, he used to headline at Eurasionist and NazBol conferences and advocated for a pan-Slavic superstate.
But did he believe in any of it?
A reader shared a quote of his from 2009:
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘰-𝘚𝘢𝘹𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘊𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘞𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘯 𝘙𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘢 - 𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.

Doesn’t that sound like something you would hear written on Chronicles?
Chances are Arestovich didn’t have any connections to people with real power initially and so he had to start with organizations that had the lowest barriers to entry. Because of how little power patriots and nationalists in Russia and Ukraine have, he probably figured that he could become a big fish in a small pond there first before moving on to bigger and better things.
Arestovich also started his career as a spook for the GUR in Ukraine, which is an important detail to know. You have to be a spook to have a voice and a say in modern day society, remember? The modern nobility? The ideological priest caste?
From there, a freshly-minted modern nobleman, he went on to become an actor. I gotta give him credit where its due, he looked pretty good with long blond hair:
All the spook-elite seem to be into cross-dressing for some reason.
As an actor working in Russia for the mafia that runs both the media in Russia and Ukraine, he met Zelensky, himself an actor at the time. Eventually, Arestovich got pulled up by his old friend Zelensky and became a Presidential Advisor to the now-President Zelensky on information policy (propaganda/PR). It is truly a remarkable story, you have to admit. Eventually, he got fired for spilling the beans that that the UAF had accidentally hit a residential building while trying to shoot down a Russian missile.
It is unclear why he did this.

There is an element of postmodern theater around this entire war in Ukraine.
Consider: for years, the top political pundits in Ukraine were saying that they needed a war against Russia to solidify the emerging new Ukrainian national identity. Clearly, the Kremlin understood how these concepts and ideas work because they had a post-modernist art critic narrative-manager and former spook named Surkov handling Ukraine.
And, just like the narrative-crafters in Ukraine wanted, Surkov and Putin generously handed them the war that they needed to be able to craft the Ukrainian identity that they had been preparing for years at that point. The plucky, resistance, pro-Democracy, anti-Russian country of nu-Ukraine was born. This is understood by people who have brains to see what is occurring. By those who can understand that this is a theater of the postmodern and the absurd.
People like Arestovich, himself an actor and a spook and a psychologist by trade, gets it, clearly.
In another fun video, he says that Ukrainianness is actually built on the Israeli model and on constantly lying - an anti-identity. This also makes sense on a more grounded level because Israelis are building the modern state of Ukraine.
Again, he doesn’t have to be trying to tell Ukrainians the truth. He’d poll better and get into less trouble for feeding the swine masses what they want to hear. But for some reason, Arestovich is shockingly honest almost to a fault. It is as if he feels compelled to reveal the method of deception to the peasants for some reason. To try and lift the veil of confusion from their faces.
In a sense, Arestovich is a bit like Surkov, but much more open and fun.
“Don’t you see how I am fooling you, pig-man?” he barks at the Ukrainians.
The Ukrainians then pout and throw temper tantrums demanding that he go back to whispering sweet lies into their ears instead. But, stout-hearted political prophet that he is, Arestovich flat-out refuses to go easy on them. The major difference between Arestovych and Surkov is the brutal honesty that he defaults to while Surkov hides behind works of modern literature that only art-creeps read to brag about his exploits (Generation P).
I also believe that Arestovich is mocking the peasants from a place of love, which makes it OK in my book because I do it too.
I want to compare him to a kind of modern-day Jesus Christ, but I hesitate to do so because he’s much better than him, frankly.
This is because he bravely speaks truth to the powerless and the impotent instead of the people who already know the score, which I find to be rather refreshing. The lesser orders are not holy and deserve some scorn from time to time too. Clearly, Arestovich’s grand plan is to educate the peasants through relentless mockery and then political tyranny once he assumes total power. I expect him to announce this as a core plank of his political platform during his campaign for the presidency.
I was meditating the other day and a vision from the distant future as recorded by the scribes of the Galactic Ukrainian Empire came to me:
There then followed a period of ten thousand years of oppression initiated by the God-Xenocrat-Poobah Aleksei Arestovich, following his inauguration as President of “Ukraine” and its expansion into a global terra-spanning empire and then the conquest of the known galaxy which came to be known as Galactic Ukraine. The peasants were abused systematically and brutally under the watchful eye of the Galactic-Guardians.
Arestovich engineered his body to make it so that he was genetically incapable of telling lies or tolerating them told by others. As he lined up the monthly peasant cull offering in front of the death pits, he would wince with annoyance as the prisoners brought forth to be sacrificed start coping and crying out: “the good Emperor is only doing this so that the crops grow! We will be rewarded for our sacrifice! Checkmate, Universalists!”
This caused Emperor Arestovich to thunder down at the captives: No! I am butchering you because I am evil! Stop coping! Stop lying to yourselves! I hate you and want you dead! This will continue for the next 10 thousand years until you people wake up and stop lying to yourselves! How much more can you cope! I will punish you until you stop believing in lies!
His Hyper-Imperial-Majesty realized that humanity would stand no chance against the enemies of the Far Expanse unless they finally learned their lessons about the true nature of power. Taking on the role of Humanity’s persecutor and interrogator, he determined to beat out all nonsensical thinking in the human race through his program of extreme suppression and terror to disabuse the peasants of all illusions that they once harbored. - the Hyper-Imperial Annals of the Galactic Ukraine Terrocracy (22580 AA).
Yes, I just shamelessly copied the plot of the later Dune books.
Heavy is the crown.
Me, I obviously think I would make a great Ethnark of the Borsht Hyper-Empire myself someday. But my greatest shortcoming is the fact that I genuinely do feel a love for my people, stupid and surly and sloppy as they are. As a result, my oppression might slacken on occasion and the harsh lessons I would want to teach the people would be mitigated by compassion and genuine sympathy on my part occasionally getting the better of me. That is why I am not worthy to rule as the despotic Xenocrat of the Slavlands for the next 2 thousand years and Arestovich clearly is.
I get the feeling that he will never feel pity or compassion for the people that he lords over.
Clearly, Bolshevism wasn’t enough of a lesson, although it was a very good learning experience about what power and politics really is for those who really paid attention. As proof of this, the people that were repressed the most brutally under Communism, the Russians, who were denied their identity and made to grovel in shame for the glorious deeds of their forefathers, they were the ones who learned their lesson the best, clearly. Compare the bloodlust of the Ukrainians and the nonchalant cynicism of the average Russian. Who is the wiser of the two? Who is the more emotional, unhinged and infantile? To say nothing of coddled groups like the Georgians and the “brotherly socialist republics” in the south.

I would be remiss if I did not point out that Arestovich believes that there are secret talks going on behind the scenes between Kiev, Moscow and Washington. So do I:
Arestovich advanced the thesis back in winter that a deal would be offered to Ukraine down the line in which they abandon some of their territorial claims in exchange for NATO membership. I think this makes sense and I would only add that Moscow would no doubt be forced to pay rent/reparations to Kiev to be able to keep Donbass if such generous terms were even offered.
I don’t know whether or not Kiev will make another push against the land-bridge connecting Crimea to Donbass, but I would point out that:
They still have the men and the equipment and the numbers advantage
Washington wants this war to continue for some time more, clearly
Russia refuses to mobilize more men even though Ukraine continues to do so
The MoD refuses to target critical infrastructure/decision-making centers showing that Moscow is still conflict-hesitant
So, another push is very possible.
Besides, even if a peace is signed, Kiev can just use this time to arm up some more and then break the peace down the road. I see no real resolution to this conflict other than one side winning or losing and it is obvious that Moscow will lose because they don’t have the will to fight seriously.
I don’t know whether or not Arestovich is taking his presidential campaign all that seriously because this is Ukraine we are talking about here and he has no chance, clearly. Chances are that he is simply using media hype as a platform for his own personal brand. But the funny thing is that he is not winning himself any popularity in Ukraine by suggesting that the people of Ukraine are going through a profound mental crisis. He scolds them for thinking that anything will change for the better for them and that electing a new oligarch or actor will improve their lives.
As a result, I personally know average Ukrainians clamoring to shut up the only truth-teller left in all of Ukraine.
It beggars belief, really.
But hey, he’s got my vote at least.

Arestovich himself would probably give you a laughing emoji for that one.
The occasional tirades against the hapless peasantry of Ukraine that he drops are honestly harsher than anything you would get from Soloviev, Lavrov, Simonyan, etc etc. Than you have the frankly hilarious fact that he flatly refuses to speak Ukrainian in a country where speaking Russian might as well be illegal. I've read some speculations that Arestovich may be positioning himself to be a leader that is acceptable to Moscow in a post war Ukrainian rump state but I feel like Arestovichs disdain for the Ukrainian identity would actually make him unacceptable to Moscow if anything and he is smart enough to know that.
As for weather any of Arestovichs former nazibolish/Duginist convictions were true I think they were but no longer are. I already posted this quote from him from 2009 once before but since it's relevant to the conversation I'll throw it up again:

My guess is he once, maybe around 20 years ago identified with the Russian world, perhaps when he was Ukrainian GRU he didn't even see himself as anti Russian. Being a genuinely smart enough guy who saw the world for what it was as evidenced by the above quote he knew the RF was a house of cards. Following that awakening the only natural intellectual route open to him was the path of disillusioned nihilism and Arestovich definitely raidiates disillusioned nihilism.
He has contempt for the Ukrainian hapless peasantry that stubbornly insist on being lied to and led to the slaughter, he has total contempt for Moscow as well but it's expressed much more subtly. That is he knows damn well what he says about the Ukrainian authorities applies to the people running Russia as well and this is proven by the fact that Russian patriots express a low key admirations for Arestovich that they never express for the Kremlin. The critiques that Arestovich makes of Ukrainians and Kiev are critiques that would never come from Kremlinites. Ever. And it needs to be said again, Arestovich knows that, he knows what he is saying would never be acceptable to Moscow and would never make him any friends amongst the feudal oligarchy. He doesn't care what they think anymore than what Ukrainian peasants think. Personally I would be very interested to hear Arestovich speaking frankly about the Russian authorities one of these days. On his telegram he has posted tons of mundane and banal nonsense about how Putin personally is trying to impose his will on Ukraine via murdering children but this strikes as analogous to Ivan Karazamov publishing pro Orthodox church tracts that he himself didn't even remotely believe in but the clergy quite liked. His brother Aloysha who was a genuine believer didn't hold it against him at all and further more Aloysha and Ivan loved each other as brothers all the same.
Imo the ability to churn out nonsense you don't even believe in at all one day than dropping massive truth bombs with a smirk on your face about how peasants prefer pretty lies while being led to massacre the next is a symptom of complete disillusioned nihilism. Arestovich is a modern Dostoevsky character.
