Kremlin-Critical Blogger and Former Ukrainian Deputy Oleg Tsarev Narrowly Escapes Assassination By ... SBU (I'm Sure)
Why is Kiev able to carry out hits with impunity?
Oleg Tsarev, a former Ukrainian deputy, a former presidential candidate in Ukraine, a Novorussian separatist supporter, a Z-enthusiast and SMO-participant and a right-of-Kremlin critic was almost assassinated last night.
He is terribly wounded and possibly dying, but still alive at the moment of me writing this article. Here:
“It’s terrible that this is happening in Crimea, because questions arise about the organization of security and the state of affairs in general,” BUSINESS Online’s interlocutor comments on the attempt on the life of former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleg Tsarev. According to preliminary data, that night the killer made his way into the house of a famous pro-Russian politician in Yalta, shot him twice and disappeared. Now doctors are fighting for Tsarev’s life, and law enforcement officers are working on the spot. There is still no official information from them.
…
The first reports about a certain “emergency incident” with Oleg Tsarev appeared this morning. Around midnight to the territory of the sanatorium. Kirov, law enforcement and ambulance vehicles gathered in the resort town of Yalta, the PolitNavigator telegram channel reported and published footage allegedly filmed near Tsarev’s house. The 16-second video, filmed at night, shows a medical vehicle and an area fenced off with warning tape. Having seen the filming, a certain man demands to remove the camera in an obscene manner. “Put the camera away, you bastards!” — a woman standing next to her almost cries.
Later details began to emerge. Tsarev was attacked, Alexander Chalenko , a columnist for the portal Ukraina.ru (founder - MIA Rossiya Segodnya), reported in his telegram channel . “He was cut off,” the journalist quoted “one of the workers” Tsarev. He did not specify any other details. By the way, in March 2022, Chalenko himself was attacked in Moscow. The version of the knife attack was also presented by the telegram channel “Military Informant”: “According to preliminary information, the former speaker of the parliament of Novorossiya survived and is in the hospital.”
“According to one version, he was attacked with a knife, and according to another, with a firearm. There is no information about Oleg Anatolyevich’s condition yet,” the Mash telegram channel wrote some time later. Russian agencies began reporting the incident with reference to Vladimir Rogov , the chairman of the “We are together with Russia” movement, a member of the main council of the military-civil administration (MCA) of the Zaporozhye region, who became popular since the beginning of the events in Ukraine . He denied reports of a stab wound. “Oleg’s condition is very serious. He is currently in intensive care. There was no stabbing. They shot at Oleg,” Rogov said and asked subscribers to pray for the politician. Similar information without reference to the source was published by the SHOT telegram channel.
There is no official information about what happened yet - no confirmation of the attack, no details. The Crimean authorities are silent. “According to Tsarev. Colleagues, don't hang up the phone. Wait for official information from the departments,” urged Oleg Kryuchkov , adviser to the head of the peninsula on information policy . The Ukrainian authorities have also not yet responded to what happened, but local publications are closely monitoring what is happening with the “state traitor Tsarev.” “Let’s pray for the peace now...” one of the major Ukrainian portals reacts to the news.
Around noon, Tsarev’s official channel, citing information from relatives, confirmed the information about the assassination attempt. “Around midnight, on the territory of the sanatorium where he lives, he was shot twice. There is no information about the criminal, the security forces are working. When the ambulance arrived, Oleg was unconscious and had lost a lot of blood. There is no information about his state of health at the moment,” the publication said.
I’ve quoted and used Tsarev’s analyses before on this blog. I’ve also been complimentary of him and grateful for his insight because of his proximity to the important events surrounding the Kiev offensive and the secret surrender signed by Moscow shortly thereafter.
If people like him had been in charge of the pro-Russian effort in Ukraine, things might have turned out differently. Instead, the Kremlin only trusts Roman Abramovich’s cousins to run their near-abroad foreign policy. And, once again, a blogger whose views I largely share and who I believe provides valuable information to the public, ends up getting assassinated/almost killed by … someone.
Now, I’m just going to give you some interesting facts here that obviously I string together in crafting my narrative/understanding of the situation and who I think might be to blame for the assassination attempt. There is no way that I can definitively prove anything at this point and it isn’t like there is going to ever be a trial for this, so let’s just disabuse ourselves of that comforting fantasy. I’m not even going to draw any final conclusions from the facts — I’m just going to present some of them and let you decide for yourselves. But, despite this, I do think that I’d get in trouble just for showing you the following information, even if I refrain from editorializing. Put side by side, these snapshots are rather unsettling.
But you’ll have to become a Stalker to read on. I’ve provided the basic info above, so I’ve done my civic duty to inform you of the disinfo and non-info present in the mainstream news narrative. If that is enough for you, then, OK. But if you want to stalk deeper and experience the horrors that the Slavlands have to offer you, then sign up and enter The (paywall) Zone, if you dare.
