On the night between the 6th and 7th, two Russian UAVs were recorded in contact with the industrial Maidan of the Pivdennoukrainian Nuclear Power Plant. The distance between the martyrs and the nuclear facilities became less than 10 km. The number of detections of Russian UAVs increased manifold over the past hour, which can indicate that the Russian Federation is preparing for attacks on the Ukrainian nuclear infrastructure. Energoatom provides information about this fact to relevant institutions for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to send notes to the International Atomic Energy Agency and inform the government and international organizations. “The aggressor country is trying to destroy all possible inheritances. This is nuclear terrorism and the tainting of the whole world with a radiation accident,” said Energoatom chief executive Petro Kotin.
