[Shock and Silence Following Wagner Death, Only Enemies to the Left and Right, "All In Or You're Dead", Peasant Apathy For Kremlin's Antifa Crusade in Ukraine, Do Mutinies Make Putin Look Stronger?]
Maybe Putin gave his word to Prigogine, but Shoigu did not care and got his revenge. And Putin cannot get rid of Shoigu, because he (Shoigu) is too powerful. I tend to think that the oligarchs would not kill one of their tribe, but Shoigu is not one of them, he is an Asiatic gangster. Anyway, just a thought.
Thanks a lot. When I hear your voice I become jubilant, though I deeply depressed all the time. You have a great positive spiritual energy Rolo, I hope there will be a time when we will have rulers like you and medical czars like Riley.
Perhaps beneath the veneer of uniforms, suits and the regalia of office, the Kremlin bosses are vodka swilling criminal goons.
Gerasimov certainly looks as though he has seen the bottom of many a whiskey tumbler. I've seen it said thet Putin is an alcoholic. Heavy drinking goes with the tufguy da Boyz culture.
Some strategists are so talented that they're indispensible, and the caliber of both those lost in the crash as well as the survivors will now be assessed.
There are multiple immediate hotspots in Niger and surroundings, and in the Suwayda, Idlib and Deir es Zor regions Syria. The situation in Niger and the Sahel is burning. Wagner is/was expected to play an important role, and the talent of its surviving leaders will make or break: those operations individually; the grip of western imperialism in north Africa and West Asia; the budding national independence movements; and even the success of BRICS.
I'm inclined to think that the crash was some kind of an inside (Russian government or civilian) job, but even so, with stakes this high, it would only take the slightest whiff of evidence to make me reconsider the possibility of western involvement.
And to those upon whose shoulders has now descended the mantle of Wagner's leadership, no pressure.
Could have been just as you say; and no one could tell one way or the other. After 22 years, people still argue over LIHOP vs MIHOP explanations for 911, and it's likely that this ste of uncertainty will persist here as well.

I don't know how it could/can play a role... Maybe with help from Algeria... We are not talking about Countries the size of Luxembourg or Belgium... Even if both of these might be richer than the Sahelian countries.
I had in mind Wagner's role in Syria. There are situations where the MOD can't operate officially, but where Wagner can do what the MOD wants but can't. Exactly like the chamelion organization Blackwater/Xe/Avcademie on the US side. We've incidentally just witnessed this informal flexibility becoing a two-edged sword.

Interesting discussion, guys. Thank you for posting this.
Great show! It was Ross Perot that coined the phrase "giant sucking sound" though.

It would explain a lot.
I thought Putin was tea total. Perhaps you mean Yeltsin?

You don't have to believe your lyin' eyes, of course.

Maybe we should check if Andrey Troshev is a Putin's stooge in Wagner and responsible for the unfortunate events.

Western involvement? As in Russian spooks told Western spooks there he is? It's been done before. But nah inside job .
