In regards to Nikola's theory about oil oligarchs losing money with the war, I'm pretty sure Russian oil revenue is down only like %10. I'm too lazy to find the article, but Ben Norton had an article saying as much. If the oil oligarchs were hardcore bleeding the war would've been over by now.
Posts like this are depressing but have the ring of truth. My main source of information other than this is the Duran. Even taking the Duran on its own terms, the eternal optimism on the inevitability of complete Russian victory began to wear a little thin. The Putin Interview, with its focus on the demilitarized zones, just leapt out at you after a steady diet of predictions of complete victory and de-Nazification. My only reason for wishing Russia to win is that presumably it would mean a multi-polar, nationalist world where nations could have a national identity and yet co-exist with other nations having a national identity.
