Shoigu's Partner in Crime Deputy Minister Timur Ivanov Gets Fired!
The only good news we have had in years, really.
I have written about Timur’s open and brazen embezzlement schemes before. He helped Shoigu loot the Russian military into the disastrous state that it is in right now — with the help of his wife, that is.
NOTE: Timur denies being an ethnic Bolshevik, but his wife is part of the tribe. I think they both are part-Chosen.
It seemed like the nonstop stealing and transfer of funds West would never end for Ivanov, because to go after him would be to go after Shoigu. And the last person to go after Shoigu ended up leading a mutiny and then being assassinated. Still, Russia is a land of miracles, I’ve heard it said before. Shoigu’s mule-boy finally got the can.
Here is his background:
🔻According to open information (https://t.me/rtvimain/95442), Timur Ivanov, detained (https://t.me/regnum_na/56764) for a bribe (https://t.me/regnum_na/56766) - graduate of the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University. He devoted most of his career to the nuclear and energy industry - he worked in the department of construction of nuclear facilities of the Ministry of Atomic Energy, and headed the Russian Energy Agency of the Ministry of Energy.
🔻In 2012, he became a member of Sergei Shoigu’s team (then he was the governor of the Moscow region). After his appointment as Minister of Defense, Shoigu invited his subordinate up with him. For three years, Ivanov, in the status of general director of JSC Oboronstroy, subordinate to the Russian Ministry of Defense, oversaw its largest infrastructure projects, including the construction of the main temple of the armed forces and the Patriot Park, and in 2016, after the resignation of Alexey Dyumin as governor of Tula region, was promoted to deputy minister.
Dyumin was the guy who led the Crimea operation that Shoigu then took credit for.
We continue:
🔻In June 2019, information appeared that the Ivanov family was hiding a number of luxury real estate properties worth hundreds of millions of rubles. The deputy minister did not comment on this information.
Luckily, I did provide my own commentary. Here:
And here:
And here:
🔻According to Forbes, in 2019 the deputy minister's income amounted to 13.6 million rubles, and his family - 136.7 million. In 2016, he celebrated the birthday of his wife, Svetlana Zakharova, at the Imperial Yacht Club. At her 45th birthday, Vyacheslav Butusov, Gosha Kutsenko and Valery Meladze sang, the Life newspaper wrote. The publication noted that Zakharova’s social networks are full of photographs from regular vacations in Courchevel, exotic safaris in Africa, and trips to St. Tropez for the opening of fashion boutiques.
Surprise surprise, Timur’s official salary simply does not allow him to afford such conspicuous spending on a washed-up old hag. But the money has to be coming from somewhere. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out from where.
So, the law finally came for Timur the other day, although the reason for it is suspect. He was accused of accepting bribes, which, the entire MoD is probably accepting bribes from Langley to sabotage the war effort, so its nothing particularly special or sensational.
Here:
TASS: Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov, whose detention was previously reported by the Investigative Committee, is suspected of receiving a bribe of at least 1 million rubles. He faces up to 15 years in prison.
For Timur Ivanov, a million rubles is like 15 kopecks for you. This is a reason. In reality, this is a serious blow to the Knight of the Order of Malta. [he is referring to Shoigu]
…
The Liberals are having a field day with this story. And I don’t blame them — it is too juicy to pass up and they did all their homework several years ago about Timur anyway. Here is the full report by Medusa, about Timur’s embezzlement operation, from which I highlighted the most interesting part:
In the past, Ivanova had Israeli citizenship (it’s unknown if this is still true). Together with her first husband, she owned an apartment in Tel-Aviv, but she never declared this property while married to Timur Ivanov — a violation of Russia’s rules on financial disclosures for state officials. None of her grown children live in Russia. In March 2022, shortly after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Ivanova traveled to France to visit her daughter and then her son in the UK. On the way, she picked up some jewelry from Joel Arthur Rosenthal, and some new clothes at Prada.
Last summer, the Ivanovs divorced, but only on paper, since Ivanova’s emails show no evidence of the couple’s actual separation. The move proved to be a shrewd one: in October, Timur Ivanov came under the EU sanctions, but his “former” spouse did not.
You know, patriotism, I have found, is simply a matter of timing.
Because people like Strelkov and others (myself included) called out Timur for his breathtaking corruption a year too early, we were all labelled traitors. Now that Timur has pissed off a bigger fish that is higher up the food chain than he is, and got fired because of it, the acceptable patriotic position has shifted as well. As proof of this, Martyanov is gloating over on his blog that Timur was fired, and seems to think this is self-evident proof of the patriots being in control. But there was no mention of Timur before he got fired though. And no tolerance for people saying that the MoD was corrupt to its core before this. There still isn’t any tolerance for outside criticism.
They simply demand total ideological obeisance and to live only in the ever-changing present moment with no concern for the past or the future of Russian and its leaders. Complete and utter subservience to the narrative of the day is the only correct way to act like a patriot, it seems like. At least, I cannot figure out any other criteria for determining who are “the good guys” and who are the heretics.
Sure, it is good news that Timur is facing 15 years in prison for his sabotage and embezzlement.
But is it good news that he was at such a high position in the MoD without anyone suspecting anything, or doing anything to curb his behavior for so many years? The news that he is facing jail time now is vindication of what the patriots were saying about Shoigu’s MoD and NOT proof that the patriots are in control. And yes, Shoigu is and remains the kingpin in the current war-spending embezzlement racket, so, until he goes, what difference does it make, in the larger scale, on the battle against Westernizers, traitors and self-servers in the Russian government?
We should take the W, but we should also remember how we were repeatedly gaslit for years by ZAnon who wanted us to believe that men like Timur simply couldn’t be working at the top levels of government because of how moral Putin was, or something equally inane.
Mark my words though: every single accusation that I have made on this blog towards the current class of treacherous elites in the Slavlands will be vindicated, in time.
Timur was just the tip of the iceberg.
Nice one RS. It's amusing that Martyanov, who always searches out the CVs of those he criticizes in order to complain that their lack of mathematical skill and military service disqualifies them from being taken seriously, failed to mention this crook's mathematical qualifications. He definitely knew enough maths to calculate the bribes he could collect and had intimate knowledge of the military, but he seems to have miscalculated the risk of losing his 'roof' and being made a 'fall-guy'. Is it possible in this mafia-like world that he may actually be a 'stand-up-guy' taking blame for his boss? One look at his photo will I think dispel that thought. I'm no mathematician but my ill-informed guess is that the chance of Shoigu being blamed for anything is zero.
Z sisters.... our response???
