It's amusing that Martyanov, who always searches out the CVs of those he criticizes in order to complain that their lack of mathematical skill and military service disqualifies them from being taken seriously, failed to mention this crook's mathematical qualifications. He definitely knew enough maths to calculate the bribes he could collect and had intimate knowledge of the military, but he seems to have miscalculated the risk of losing his 'roof' and being made a 'fall-guy'. Is it possible in this mafia-like world that he may actually be a 'stand-up-guy' taking blame for his boss? One look at his photo will I think dispel that thought. I'm no mathematician but my ill-informed guess is that the chance of Shoigu being blamed for anything is zero.

Who could sic the cops, auditors and lawyers unto someone at that level, as well as prevent them from doing their jobs until it suited someone? Why now? Was he selling secrets to America or Israel? Would he even know anything interesting apart from who pays the best bribes - but the yids would already know that? Will he be accused of having secretly been a friend of Prigozhin? Enquiring minds want to know, but we will have to wait.
Timur does look Jewish. He could be Azeri though. Or both. In any case, his building an Orthodox cathedral is incongruous. Whatever he built cannot be Christian. I am saddened by learning of yet another travesty of church.
Anyway we do not know why he was fired. The pretext suggests corruption but one cannot use it to infer that he is fired because of corruption. However the real reason must be quite serious. I opine that it must be linked to something of real military importance : items like supersonic missiles, fighter planes, long range torpedoes; failure to build fortifications or bases; or intelligence leaks. He may be able to negotiate his way into a good retirement albeit after a good scare.
