I actually really really like writing and have a bunch of semi-completed and completed short stories and books both non-fiction and fiction sitting on my laptop.
I wouldn’t mind sharing some here.
If we’re talking fiction, I have a list of ideas that are near and dear to me that I try and explore through my writing like:
the ideas of Lev Gumilev surrounding Ethnic Genesis
the theme of brotherly reconciliation
the perennial conflict between prophets and priests
character development through Dabrowski’s concept of ‘Personality Disintegration’
‘Neo-Hesychasm’ and the rebirth of mysticism
Gurwitsch’s theory on morphogenetic fields
Evola’s incomplete theorizing on the ‘Oversoul’
Yeah, off the top of my head, that’s probably what I’d end up rambling about to a girl if I was 6 drinks in at the bar.
And because of the coronavirus hysteria, I ended up writing about these topics at home in the dark, hunched over my laptop, instead of trying to share them with women, for which I am eternally grateful to our vax overlords.
But I’m not sure that just sharing them here on the blog is a viable long-term strategy. I’d like to get some of them published, if at all possible, and make a few bucks too.
Unfortunately, I don’t really know how the writing industry works, and from what I’ve heard, sci-fi and fi are rather politically censored nowadays, so I don’t know if my work would even be considered. It seems that more and more people are simply self-publishing these days.
What to do what to do…
You need to write something that strikes a nerve....then you will get feedback / good or bad it is still feedback....start writing and never stop...
They sound fascinating, especially Gumilev. Post them here. You'll get some feedback.
