I don't know, but western sources estimate the total damage to Israel civilian infrastructure between 5 and 20 billions USD.

Just counting the official Israeli death toll is pretty disingenuous.

How many more wins like that can they withstand?

I'm pretty sure it's why the war was stopped by Trump: they thought Iranian leadership would crumble and they didn't.

The densest country with the smaller stock of missiles can't win a war of missile attrition.

Beware of the habitual Russian Telegram channels they were all covertly chilling for Israel in this war, it was pretty obvious.

I think Iran won this round albeit not brilliantly. They just could tolerate the pain a little longer than the Israelis.

I'm not optimistic for the future though.

They can withstand probably 50 more wars at that rate?

Why is death toll fake?

Money is printed out of the air and controlled by their cousins in NY. They’ll build plenty more shitty condos and multistory parking lots in Tel Aviv.

The death toll is irrelevant whether true or fake: it's not high enough in both countries to change the war.

What matters here are the material destructions:

https://www.unz.com/mwhitney/heres-proof-that-israel-lost-the-war/

The amount of damages done by Iranian missiles have been much more important than what Israel admitted.

So the claim of Whitney is that the Western media is covering up irans devastating response that reduced key Israeli targets to rubble.

… but we can’t verify this because Western media won’t report it.

Cool, so there’s no way to falsify or contradict this report, right?

And despite the beating they took, Israel will foolishly attack again despite losing because they’re unhinged and crazy. That’s the conclusion.

OK well let’s check back after round 2 and see who was right I guess.

If Israel passed an urgent law to criminalize reporting the damages done to its infrastructure, it's not just for fun.

They have something to hide.

I know it's tempting to apply the russo-uki lens here, but to me it seems the Iranians didn't do some masturbatory russian style missile strike here. They actually bombed important stuff!

Doesn't mean they will win, the Israelis leadership is crazy enough to nuke Iran and shutzpah it as legitimate defense.

Rurik Skywalker's avatar

Ok but Kiev passed the same law and there’s plenty of photos of destruction all over Ukraine from the missiles. No impact on the war at all.

The law proves that one side is taking it seriously at least, that’s how I see it.

Well we won't have to wait much to know who's right, the Israelis won't let this war last years like the Russians.

The craziest part (almost) no one knows👇

In Israel, most people don’t actually own the land their home sits on. Around 93% of the land is owned by the state and managed by the Israel Land Authority (ILA). When you “buy” a home, you’re typically leasing the land from the Israel Land Authority (ILA)—usually under long-term leases of 49 or 98 years. That means the state retains significant control over what happens to the land, including redevelopment plans, rezoning, or repossession under certain conditions.

🚨 Under the banner of “build back better” after Iranian attacks, Israel is advancing a plan that could force citizens to sell their homes to the state if they reject urban renewal plans.

Missile damage is being used as cover for a land grab.

Isn't that the case in the majority of Western countries ? (not sure for the rest of the world, seems it's the case in a lot of countries all over the world too). You "own" the land and your house on paper but still have to pay taxes for both and the government can seize it all if it really wants to (Eminent domain)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eminent_domain

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Property_tax

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Property_tax#By_jurisdiction

Here in France the Hollande government was floating the idea that even after you finish to pay your house you should then pay rent, for the rest of your life, didn't happen but the Macron's regime was talking about it again last year I think, it'll probably happen at some point, when Blackrock finally own all houses they'll just force you to rent at outrageous prices, IF they let you at all, homelessness is terrific for depopulation !

Dan Liviu's avatar

Yes, you do have to pay property tax for both the house and the land underneath, they don't lease it to you like they do in Israhell, which is much easier to revoke, but they can always expropriate you via eminent domain, of course, and you can only contest the amount of money you receive for it (not very often successfully anyway, as the judges side with the state by default)

I don't know how "strict" is the lease they are given, maybe they have it more tough than us in that respect at least, wonder what happens when inheritance time comes, I'd imagined the lease is automatically renewed for the beneficiary(ies). According to the Israel subreddit it's not that bad at all :

"It's just a technical bit of legalese language, and has no practical effect on people who buy and own a parcel of land. By declaring almost all the land in the country as government property, the government has control over city planning, zoning etc,

Once you buy land, or a house or condominium on that land , it's yours. You own it.The property deed has your name on it. The technical legal phrasing on the deed says you own a 99 year lease from the government land agency, but that is irrelevant. The government has never attempted to revoke anybody's property."

Some commenters seem to disagree, I wonder if Israelis themselves are that precious to the apparently almost entirely Jewish Central bankers, they did apply Covid tyranny and jabbed them all, according to that Jewish guy the jab has affected just the same, who knows :

Yeah, I'm so tired of meeting yet another relatively successful and intelligent person who tells me that of course Russia is winning the war, and of course the Iran nearly turned Israel into Gaza. When I offer a different view, they are baffled and amused at my ignorance: "I mean, haven't you seen the videos of rubble in Tel Aviv and Iran's ultramegahypersonic fattah-kinzhals raining on Bibi? Don't you know that Russia is now a #4 world economy, successfully turning Ukrainian soldiers into meat and on its way to fully integrate with China to form an unstoppable BRICS powerhouse?"...
