Rolo , how have you been? Isn't is wonderful conversing with the Utopian left. As I stated in a previous response to you about my friend the former CIA specialist who said the average IQ in the West is 85. I now realize he was a tad high . Probably in the 75-80 range now.

When I was a young hotshot exec I worked for the french company BIC. We had a saying then , it went like this " Effective advertising pays"..

Central Intelligence has tweaked it a bit to " Effective brainwashing pays" . The CI boys believe that the world needs to be homogenized, pasteurized and sterilized.

No deviation of thought. your mid-wit friend in Kiev is a prime example of their success. Like a parrot she regurgitates the pablum she has been fed.

I have news from O Can OF Shit, a provincial election was held . Usually a voter turnout of 58 to 62% is recorded.

This time it was stated by elections Canada that only 43% turned out. Realistically , since they lie about everything I believe the true turnout was between 35-38%. The lowest turnout ever in O Can Of Shit.

The media went into a panic mood. They could not admit that the majority of the population are aware that the 3 major parties Conservatives, Liberals and New Democrats form a Uniparty totally bought , controlled and directed by the WEF.

They wrung their hands collectively as they took the blame personally. Stating they had predicated a Conservative majority which influenced the public to stay home. Hence such a low turnout.

The jig is up. The majority of the population has awakened that they have no representation in any policy be it taxation, health or education. Their job is to pay taxes and shut up.

As for this liberal arts woman I am sure her ex husband is much happier without her . With gas at $8.00/gallon and a loaf of edible real bread at $5.00. Western society will collapse and a real revolution will start within 18 months.

Keep up the good work Rolo

Excellent Rolo you and I are cut from the same carpet. That woman you write about sounds like a typical WOKE NYC new age leftist. Your description of Kiev reminds me of NYC for the past two years. From what you write it's obvious that ZOG now resides in Kiev. And that the average schlep supports this because think think they'll get "something for nothing". They'll get something alright but it won't be for nothing and then they'll wish they never did. It's tragic and pathetic how ZOG has gotten Europeans to trash and even slaughter each other. It's time we all unite and deal with ZOG once and for all. Then we can rebuild our civilization.

Thanks much for this vignette of Kievan city life!

"..someone in a position of power in the government and the media fed them this narrative that they gobbled up and now repeated as if they had come up with it." You can tell which movements are synthetic and which are grassroots. Unless they can be coopted, grassroots movements must be demonized because they can send discourse into uncontrolled, and independent, directions. Like Trump. There's a desparate belief among elites that public opinion is too important to be left to the public.

I'm an equal opportunity cynic: liberals don't have exclusive rights to incompetence: the act of desperation when a political program fails is to blame those nasty opponents who prevented nirvana from being attained. As a conservative example from the USA, there were many Republicans who explained problems in Reagan's policies by invoking the political opposition of Democrats in Congress.

You've given a succinct and depressing example of human nature acting politically.

The Wild West. Type "Lenin statue Fremont" into your search engine. I could walk over to this Idol in about five minutes from where I sit right now in this part of Seattle. Talk about trying to have an intelligent, open discussion with these people! Fremont has been referred to by the card carrying members of the Vanguard of Progress around here for decades as the Center of the Universe. There are actually street signs! I know that I've overstated things with the wild west stuff, and that there are people going through horrific, brutal, malfeasance in many places of this imperfect world, and it troubles me. One can see rather clearly out here in this relatively pacifistic, oh so culturally hip sinkhole, how the the puppet masters get away with it. Their Meta Narrative is so bewilderingly omnipresent, to question it, you're probably gonna get sucker punched. True Believers and Usefull Idiots!

Thanks, Rolo. Like biscutis and gravy, love your work.

I think when u boil it all down, when a white society becomes degenerate and lazy, many become vulnerable to State manipulation and propaganda, because it gives them a ready excuse to become utter slobs while being told by the corrupt State that they are still “amazing” (i hate that word) if they simply scapegoat the productive, self-respecting whites. That seems to be the basic theme in both countries.

Slightly off topic but you seem like the person who can answer this question . I am always impressed by the statements by Putin, Lavrov, Zakharova etc. but why do they always refer to the agitators and Zelensky's puppet masters as "anglo-saxons"? They obviously know the truth, why the sleight of hand, who is the target audience for this?

You're right. They constantly pretend that its Anglos or Europeans running the governments of the West when thinking people know that nothing could be further from the truth.

Why do they do this?

Well, Lavrov is a Sovok and is deathly afraid of being called a Nazi. Zakharova is a textbook Liberal and you have the same thing going on in her pretty head.

Putin's been a bit more candid over the years. But, still, too many ideological cockroaches in the heads of the older folks.

Liberalism do maximize the GDP however. That's why the west is the richest part of the globe. At the end of the day socialism and nationalism are just two faces of the same medal. If you want the community to thrive, you need to sacrifice the material wealth. Otherwise... Well, tranny niggers didn't made me poorer, nor my family, nor everyone else I personally know.

Can the average young American afford a house? 4 kids? To live better than his parents did?

Rake's avatar

Idk, I'm not American. I guess so, land and houses in rural America are very cheap. However the West is undoubtedly the richest part of the world. Best access to all resources and commodities. If you are just going to speak about the material wealth, you must admit that liberalism is best.

Rurik Skywalker's avatar

I don't have to admit that liberalism is best because the average person lives worse the more liberal things get.

That's because the material wealth, which is the point of capitalism, is not particularly meaningful by itself. Not because the liberalism is somehow managing to deliver not enough material wealth. You can't really be serious if you claim that the richest parts of the world are somehow not rich enough.

Capitalism's point is to give people with capital control of politics as opposed to, say, military people or the clergy or a king or the proletariat. Captalism's economic goal is to destroy all barriers to the free flow of goods, services and workers.

If we're talking material wealth, it all depends on how you measure richness. For example, GDP measures are skewed to favor service-economies. By these measures, Russia has a smaller economy than Spain when in reality, the Russian economy is larger than Germany's if we weigh production more heavily.

I don't argue that the financial oligarchy in the West isn't rich.

However, if you look at other measures like CPI, many countries even in Asia that are considered Third World have cheaper products relative to the paychecks that people bring home.

Cheap credit in the West also allows people to live far beyond their means. It helps when you can get rest of the world to lend you money.

Real estate prices are soaring and propping up a lot of people's retirement portfolios. Great for the economy and for creating more credit, but also makes it impossible for younger people to get starter homes.

Again, all of this depends. What does it mean to be rich? What can you buy with that money? In the West, my parents had to pay top dollar to send me to a White school. In the East, you can get that for free. That's a cost that you simply don't have to deal with and it raises quality of life immeasurably.

Another example, I can get non-GMO and high-quality meats and farm products for cheap where I live now. I'd have to work a tech job and go to the Amish or Whole Foods or a farmer's market and pay a lot of money to afford the same in the West. I'm basically a bum and I can afford to eat healthy here in Eastern Europe, whereas in America I'd be reduced to cheap carbs.

I'm not really sure what you mean by rich, really.

Most of the people my age I knew were living 6 to an apartment, working at jobs that would only start paying them a middle-class wage 10 years down the line, maybe, and only after they secured a grad degree. There seems to be a lot of richness, but its confined to a select few.

What I am trying to say is that liberalism is successful in what it aims for, but the goal is simply worthless. You are trying to say that in less rich countries you actually live better because things are cheaper. That's only true if in the West you aim for a pretty high lifestyle, with a house in a big city - which anyway allows you, in the long run, for a much greater access to material wealth.

I pointed to the objective measures, which are the ratio between GDP and total population. So let me take this on the anecdotal plan. I have 3 friends which are not interested at all in living in a big city and doing fancy stuff. They mostly live off the seasonal agricultural business, basically haversting. They were able to buy and renovate an 800 mq2 old convent which they now use as B&B for germans, providing them for a revenue in the winter. They buy most of their food directly from farmers, they work at most 6 months/year and they are still able to enjoy what they like about the wider society. So it's absolutely possible to start rock bottom and get an house, a work and good food if you are interested in a rural lifestyle similar to the one you are describing.

Some of my friends were not interested in such lifestyle. They only wanted a stable job. Most of them ended up working in factories, which net them 2500€/month. Nothing to spit upon. They probably won't be able to afford an house in the center of a big city, but they can easily live in the suburbs, which they do. Most of them own their houses. Same for the one which joined the army, which is buying the house next to mine.

On the contrary, I also know some people interested in the high lifestyle. They went to financial, business and computer schools. They are indeed unable to afford a house, because they live in Milan, Rome, Paris, London. However they got what they wanted, an high paid job which allows them to have spectacular vacations.

Another example. In my city there's a big industry of medium and small fabrics and clothes producers. They were able to profit on the Chinese immigration by hiring a lot of low paid labourers, and later just rent them the factories. Another family I know, which have a big agricultural business, employ a lot of blacks which asks for lower pay. Same for the guy which has hotels. So if you aim for a very high gain in such fields, you have indeed opportunities, which are maximized by liberalism.

I went to Russia a few times. I always liked Russia. What struck me the first time I got off the airplane was that the sobranie where extremely cheap compared to the Nazionali I was smoking at time. So yeah, I know some stuff is cheaper there, but not everything. Buying an Alienware was a big deal for russian, while for me is something I can afford - and I even choose a low paid job for my local standards. It's easier for a European to get, I don't know, a Ferrari or a vacation house in a foreign country. To sustain the Netflix, Amazon and Disney+ fee. To buy fancy clothes and luxury watches. To get the best medical treatment. To access all the things we usually refer to as "material wealth".

I can't speak for America. I went there only one time in order to meet some family members. They were totally unable to speak Italian, they lived in New York and were voting democrats. All that I remember from America was niggers and fake Italians that were trying to act as real Italians. But those who lived there claimed that it was easier for them to get what they wanted in terms of job and pay compared to Italy, so I take that for true. I know that Anglo-Saxon have a strange relationship with houses. They usually go living by themselves very early and they change house a lot. But anyway Anglo-Saxon are not the totality of westerners.

So, what am I doing here? I'm defending capitalism? No. I think that the guys that works in the fields are way happier that the ones that are pursuing high paid jobs in Rome, Milan and London. But still, those high paid jobs are an option and they deliver what they promise: an high pay that you can spend as you prefer. Liberalism does indeed allow for such things, bit it's totally unworthy. As you pointed out, liberalism is about free stream of jobs and commodities, and it's intended to provide the best economic opportunities. In doing so it destroys the national and local community. The choice is about prioritizing wealth or society. I'm on the side of society, but you can't really say that liberalism doesn't provide wealth.
