The UAF Has Casually Doubled Their Gains While Putin Promises to Shut Down All Free Speech on the Runet
The real problem isn't the invasion of Kursk, it is criticism of Putin and his cabal, see?
There is too much info to convey without using bullet-points today. Here goes;
The UAF has advanced about 50km in three days.
They took multiple almost totally undefended settlements a stone’s throw from the border with almost no resistance.
The city of Sudzha was taken within 48 hours and now the UAF is advancing on Kursk and in multiple directions while also reinforcing their gains
NOTE: this map will be at least 12 hours old when I publish it, probably.
Moscow sent hundreds of troops to their deaths in a “Highway of Death” column intended to reinforce Kursk
The brave, loyal, Abrahamic-Morality-Traditionalist-Brothers-Yes forces of Akhmat (Chechens and other caucasoids) abandoned their posts ahead of the UAF advance and then lied on social media that they weren’t in the area where the UAF was advancing
MCHS (Russian FEMA) has issued a statement proclaiming that the situation in Kursk Region is now classified as a “federal emergency”. Powerful stuff. They also announced the formation of an investigative committee, which is very welcome news for the refugees fleeing under live shelling fire from Kursk oblast in droves. First, it was a “terrorism”; then a “provocation”, and now a “federal emergency”. Perhaps in two weeks time, it will be classified as “just a prank, bro!’ Never an “armed invasion” though, oh no, don’t hold your breath.
Plus, we already have leaked media guidelines issued by the Kremlin to monitor the kind of terms that can be used and the coverage allowed on channels. Here are the relevant bits:
Vladimir Putin’s domestic policy team has instructed the pro-Kremlin and state-run media to “avoid sensationalizing” coverage of the Ukrainian military’s incursion into the Kursk region, Meduza has learned from two people who work in the industry. The Putin administration’s “urgent recommendations” also caution against discussions of a “new front” opening in the so-called special military operation. Instead (somewhat confusingly, given the directive to abstain from sensationalism), reporters have been encouraged to compare the ongoing fighting in the Kursk region to the World War II Battle of Kursk — the single largest battle in the history of warfare and a turning point in the USSR’s fight against Nazi Germany. Additionally, the president’s policy team has told the media not to mention the potential advance of Ukrainian troops toward the city of Kurchatov, which is home to the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant — in order to prevent a public panic about a “nuclear threat.”
(…)
The media should also assure their audiences that ample temporary accommodations are available for persons displaced from Sudzha. This coverage should focus on acting Governor Alexey Smirnov’s visits to housing shelters and hospitals where wounded civilians are being treated.
(…)
The Kremlin instructed reporters to emphasize the “enormous response efforts” of federal officials, especially President Putin, who “won’t desert anyone in need,” said Meduza’s Russian media sources.
The Putin administration’s “guidelines” didn’t reach newsrooms until Thursday afternoon, more than two days after Ukraine’s incursion began. This delay suggests that the president’s domestic policy team failed to realize the scale of events until well into the operation.
Typical stuff. Rely on endless platitudes about WWII while doing damage control and appealing to mushy, emotional human interest stories while the real news describing advancing armies and bombardments and deployments and so on are to be suppressed.
Repeat after me:
There is no war in Russia, Nazi!
There is no war in Russia, Nazi!
There is no war in Russia, Nazi!
There is no war in Russia, Nazi!
There is no war in Russia, Nazi!
You get the point.
Moving on.
…
Now, the reinforcements scrambled to Kursk by Moscow were sent into the jaws of death, all lined up like chickens for the slaughter. That is, they were ordered by their MoD higher-ups to advance without cover one by one along the highways to be picked off by the UAF from the air.
This is classic “Gerasimov Doctrine” tactics in all their glory, of course. Here:
Columns! The use of columns require executions, today! Whoever gave the order to move in columns in the area under observation of the ‘copter and, accordingly, the defeat of the Khimars, is not just an asshole, but should also be sentenced according to the laws of wartime, today - by firing squad. And I don't care what rank - private or assault squad level! Those who command the movement in the column themselves, being in the column itself, are no less assholes! But often you can't send him into a storm, because there is no one left to send. Although, assholes often survive longer than most! And then they also get positions with medals for surviving.
And even Kremlin-approved shillbag spook-state toadies are forced to hiccup nervously and admit that this was rather grotesque and macabre and not at all a brilliant 5D Judo Tit-Slap or whatever. Here:
🇷🇺🇺🇦🪖 So much has been said about the sad consequences of driving in columns (https://t.me/vysokygovorit/16839) to the front line that it is difficult to add anything to this. But fresh footage from the Kursk region shows that almost three years of hostilities have not taught anyone anything yet. Such lessons are far from the level of the General Staff, as Revenge of Good Will correctly writes (https://t.me/Mestb_Dobroj_Voli/12109).
It is stupid to blame the General Staff or the multi-starred "red commanders" here: if the column leader does not feel sorry for himself and his personnel, then there is no need to blame the Masons and otherworldly forces for this.
And a special "hello" to those residents of the region who, in the third year of the SVO, continue to film the landings from three angles and post them on the Internet, knowing full well that they should not do so. Perhaps, sooner or later, extreme measures will be used to wean (seemingly) adults and conscious people away from this.
You see? It is the peasants posting videos of the bombs raining down on them and the truck drivers to blame! Our wise leaders are closely monitoring the situation … two more weeks, patriots … just two more weeks …
Meanwhile, the Ukrainians are gloating about the “highway of death” aftermath of the bizarre relief column sent to Kursk and sharing videos of the road carnage.
Now Putin has his own mini “highway of death” under his belt making him even more similar to Saddam Hussein, the kayfabe tinpot puppet-dictator set up by the CIA in Iraq to later by toppled easily. This makes my comparisons of Putin to Milosovic and Saddam easier to make. When the dust settles, we may even be forced to conclude that Saddam was far more competent than Putin ever was.
A low bar, but still.
Meanwhile, Moscow has taken to begging the EU to condemn the invasion of Russia. How sad and pathetic. Unsurprisingly, the EU shrugged and said, “we hate you lol like we literally want you dead, guy. how can we make it any clearer, dummy? die die DIE!!!”
Here:
The EU is not against the actions of Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region, said the representative of the European Commission on foreign policy issues, Peter Stano. Earlier, Moscow called on the international community not to stand aside and to strongly condemn the criminal actions of the Kyiv regime.
And here is a good response to this insanity which is the Kremlin begging the EU to side with them against Kiev based on 90s era international law principles that even then were already being ignored in Serbia, Iraq and in most of South America:
Dear Nezygar! Don't have any illusions! Here's a statement from the EU Foreign Policy Service:
"The right to defend oneself also includes the right to strike the enemy on his territory." And you tell them: "How can that be! Excuse me, gentlemen!.. You are beasts, gentlemen!...."
Hmm. A voice crying in the wilderness...
The plan for a surprise invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into the Kursk region was agreed upon in advance with Mons (NATO Joint Forces Headquarters in Europe). The resources of the US, UK and French intelligence communities were fully engaged in its preparation. Western military equipment was used at full capacity. And then, apparently counting on idiots, they put on a show, pretending to request information from Kyiv about the "sortie" they had carried out.😂😂😂
Syrsky is a capable military leader, even though he is a Vlasovite. His back was covered by the coordinated positions of Bankova and Western politicians.
And you are still making plans for PR campaigns...
https://t.me/russica2/58510
Therefore, fight and do not expect sympathy and applause. Our diplomats in Europe and the USA will not help you. The time for diplomacy is long over. Communication between local authorities and them has been reduced to zero. I also have the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia, but in my current real life I use not six foreign languages, but a Kalashnikov assault rifle, drones, electronic warfare and electronic intelligence.
The UAF moved so fast and was so unopposed because the defenses were so non-existent that even Kremlin journalists who usually stay a safe distance away from the fighting were getting shot at pretty much point-blank. They had no idea that the enemy had penetrated so far so fast.
Here:
❗️According to unconfirmed information, war correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny has died - he went to the Kursk region to cover the situation in the border area after the invasion of Ukrainian troops
State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin reported on his Telegram channel that war correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny has died. Earlier, he went to the Kursk region to fulfill his professional duty.
UPDATE: he’s critically injured but alive.
OK and one other point worth touching on now: Moscow isn’t blowing the bridges to try and contain the offensive or to slow it down. Why?
I am watching the enemy's rapid movements across the Kursk region and I cannot understand one thing. Why are we not blowing up the bridges in front of them? Why, when leaving the territory, are we not making it more difficult for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to move in?
After all, our main problem now is their mobility. That is why they are so dangerous now (while our reserves are still being transferred). And in the future, bridges are also logistics, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces will have to establish in any case.
Right now, the bridges around Sudzha are already working for the enemy. Without them, they would have big problems here.
Although, yes, I understand that we did not blow up the bridges because we planned to return quickly. As for "return quickly", I heard that one before. But here's the problem. How can those who "plan to return quickly" be sure that the enemy will in turn leave our bridges intact?
[GOOD POINT!]
They will blow them up in this case (when they do not need them and to hinder us). Wouldn't it be better for us to do this? To hinder them now?
Rhetorical questions.
Someone has been helping Kiev to fight this war on easy mode since day one within the Kremlin. This is just more of the same. They:
didn’t bother to fortify an entire section of the border
they didn’t bother to blow the bridges
they didn’t bother to retreat garrison soldiers and equipment out
they didn’t bother to organize evacuation of the civilians
they sent reinforcements to their death along the highway of death
they let the Chechens run away without putting up even the slightest fight
they don’t seem to want to fire any “Mr. Kinzhal” missiles at the advancing Ukrainian troops
they seem far more concerned about shutting down all dissident speech as it it were bloggers like me to blame for them leaving an entire section undefended
Finally, here are some hot takes by people that might be shut down in the coming days, so get your fill of outrage now before they tighten the screws and all we are left with is ZAnon reassuring us that this was actually Yahweh’s plan to checkmate Satan by replicating the events of WWII and the battles of Kursk and an angel saved Trump’s ear and blah blah blah.
Here:
In general, what can I say...
On the one hand, a well-prepared operation, including in terms of military-technical means, breakthroughs on a fairly wide front and to a very sensitive depth, entry into operational space and maneuverable actions.
On the other hand, a thin border curtain and a failure of the defense, a critical shortage of forces for the prompt relief of the crisis, an emergency transfer to the direction of special forces units as fire brigades, literally pulling out of the battle units from the adjacent direction, active work of aviation with lame accuracy, in general an emergency response mode.
At the same time - Gerasimov's assurance to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's face that the enemy's advance into the depths of our territory has been stopped, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces have actually broken through to Sudzha [taken it now] and are blocking it by the enemy, which does not correspond to reality.
At the current stage, the situation looks like Balakleya 2.0.
Here:
Comrades from the General Staff! How do you like your brilliant "grinding" tactics? They sure have worked out great, right? You calculated that with this tactic you are defeating the entire collective West in terms of resources. Those were some great calculations, weren't they?
And how are things now? Are you winning? Have you ground everyone up? Maybe it's time to change something in your approaches? Or is it scary to raise the word of truth that goes against the political position of a [soon-to-be-made] deal?
And here is what Western news outlets are saying. Apparently, they didn’t get the memo from ZAnon that this was an absolutely brilliant Putin Judo trap to morally checkmate the Anal-Saxon forces in Kursk:
The Kursk region was attacked by about a thousand Ukrainian soldiers, Bloomberg writes, noting that this is the first invasion of Russia by a foreign army since World War II.
This offensive "has exposed the fragility of Russia's border defenses" as the group in Ukraine grows.
It "raised Ukrainian morale" and "undermined the Kremlin's carefully crafted image of Putin as a defender of ordinary Russians."
"Instead, the war he started in Ukraine is now increasingly spilling over into Russia, where people in border regions live under constant risk of shelling and drone strikes on key industrial facilities," the publication writes.
For Ukraine, according to Bloomberg, this will bolster its arguments that the United States and Europe should not fear Russia's threats of escalation and should allow Ukraine to fight Putin in any way it sees fit to speed up the end of the war.
Ukraine has not officially announced the goals of the operation, so the publication lists the following versions: from an attempt to seize territory as a potential bargaining chip in future negotiations with Moscow to a diversionary tactic to ease the pressure on Ukraine's stretched defenses, distracting Russian forces from the front line.
But I guess I am a traitor for citing the WSJ stating the obvious, right?
Also, we will discuss the “bargaining chip/territory swap” thesis tomorrow.
Finally, Dr Livsci said:
Its just damn.... you got US and European armour vehicles rolling on your soil, powered by the gas you sent them and are continuing to send them, they are blowing up your citizens and occupying your towns, and you so fucking craven and shameless that you wont even send the Houthis a few rockets.
That got a sad little chuckle out of me.
So, what went wrong in Kursk?
Well, for one thing, apparently there weren’t any layered or “echeloned” defenses in the region. That is, they existed on paper, but in reality, there was nothing. There was just a border region guarded by FSB and other conscripts that had no chance of stopping an actual military thrust. And, past that point there was … literally just nothing, apparently.
Quite the heccin’ oversight! OOPS and gosh darn it!
As a result, things look very grim in Kursk indeed. Here is what Katyusha, the formerly pro-Putin, pro-Orthodox people had to say. Seems that they’re regretting their vote for the current government in the recent elections:
Kupyansk - Sudzha - Deja Vu
Even at the beginning of the summer and literally before the breakthrough into the Kursk region, we wrote that the situation with the Kharkov drape was repeating itself. Everything is like in the summer of '22 - the enemy was pulling forces there for two months, practicing the invasion, establishing connections between units, preparing a full-fledged military operation in its favorite style of mobile warfare, where there are no "Surovikin lines" and echeloned defense.
We leave the nonsense about sabotage and reconnaissance groups, provocations, etc. on the conscience of the propagandists, the Two Majors have already described the composition of the army corps that invaded the officially recognized territory of the Russian Federation.
According to their information (https://t.me/dva_majors/49105), units from the following enemy units are involved in the Kursk direction: the 61st separate mechanized brigade, the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade, the 150th separate mechanized brigade, the 103rd separate territorial defense brigade, the 80th separate airborne assault brigade, the 22nd separate mechanized brigade, the 5th separate assault brigade, the 24th separate assault battalion "Aidar" (recognized as terrorist in Russia), the 151st territorial defense battalion, the 5th border rapid response commandant's office, the 3rd department of the border service of the state border service of Ukraine. The exact number is unknown, but it is more or less approximately the entire number of militants during the First Chechen War. Friends, we are dealing with a full-fledged military invasion, nothing more and nothing less. What kind of "provocation" are the officials telling us about is beyond our comprehension. It's something like a joke: "The Chinese army has mastered a new tactic - defection in small groups, one, two million no more."
But what's worse, we have a case of complete deja vu.
Everything that is happening now in the Kursk region was almost exactly the same in the Kharkiv region. Remember the summer of 2022, when we were squeezing our forces during the liberation of the LPR, had a shortage of people at the front, had fake reports using "dead souls". As a result, the Kharkiv region was defended by mobilized from the LPR and DPR, with a catastrophic shortage of not only heavy weapons, but even bulletproof vests, soldiers in Great Patriotic War-era helmets and with three-line rifles.
What's even worse is that there was no second and third line of defense. Official propaganda unanimously chorused about the West's readiness for negotiations, Urgant returned to Moscow, the holidays were underway, and everyone was sure that Kyiv had deflated.
The enemy found out about this, and, to our regret, they don't watch Solovyiev Live, don't read official MoD reports, but actually conduct reconnaissance and, at the cost of losing even Rubezhnoye and Lisichansk, were able to gather a fairly large group near Balakleya. Only the lazy didn't write about this then.
But everyone was sure that there was complete stability there, that Ukraine didn't have enough strength and courage, the General Staff didn't pay attention to "little things" at all and prepared new strips for medals for liberated cities.
Former military officials personally assured to us that everything was under control, and rumors about the offensive were spread by alarmist war correspondents who should be put up against the wall [and shot]. Then these same officials were the first to flee from newly Russian territory. We are speaking about the defense of Balakleya, which by that time had not only fallen, but also allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to get to Kupyansk. That is, they lied in order to cover themselves and their fault is that the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not allow teachers and thousands of our people who helped the army to leave the territory, handing them over instead to the Nazis.
Anyone who was there at that time can confirm these words. And can compare them with what is happening today in the Kursk region, where official lies do not give people a chance to evacuate in time, and the preparation of the second and third lines of defense exists only on Starovoit's papers.
And this also shows that our General Staff is not trained at all. They were already dragged out once and generally spared - Gerasimov ruled as he ruled. But here too he managed to dance on a rake.
Let's not criticize him before giving him a chance to organize a defense near Moscow though?
Yeah well, I don’t think they will reach Moscow. Putin and his buddies will actually defend Moscow is the thing. But, there is definitely a contingency plan by Kiev and NATO to park their army near Moscow and to activate their assets (oligarchs/spooks) within the city to topple Putin.
Some channels are speculating that the coup against Putin is beginning right now.
Here:
It smells like a palace coup. Deripaska has gone all in. In essence, we are seeing an ultimatum from the Russian oligarchy to Putin, against the backdrop of the failure in the Kursk region. Apparently, they will try to persuade Vladimir Vladimirovich to agree to a deal on Ukrainian terms.
Let's see how he responds.
If a criminal case is not opened against Deripaska after such a statement, then the guarantor is in bad shape, and he is already leaning towards surrendering everything and everyone.
Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska has publicly criticized his country's defense spending, calling the military conflict in Ukraine "madness." "If you want to stop the war, you first need to stop the fire," he said in an interview with Nikkei Asia, calling for an "immediate, unconditional ceasefire" in Ukraine.
Deripaska is connected to Trump and his people, by the way. He was working with Manafort to try and legitimize his wealth in America and to start getting involved in American politics in some way. This was the real Russiagate, but it was all hushed up by both sides because … well … you get the thing by now, I hope. Deripaska has ethnic privilege which renders him almost immune to criticism in the Western media. Besides, he is a key figure that the West will rely on to overthrow Putin. For his part, Putin has rewarded Deripaska handsomely over the last decade to try and bribe his loyalty. In recent years though, Deripaska has once again fallen out of favor and fallen prey to FSB and rival oligarch attacks on his sprawling business empire.
His statements don’t actually prove that an oligarch coup against Putin is underway.
I mean, I actually agree with the general scenario and have outlined how this is generally the plan to depose Putin many times already. I just don’t see proof that the green light has been given yet. Frankly, the West would benefit from Putin staying in power for as long as possible because his person is the justification for the war because he’s Literally Hitler (tm) according to Western media. With him gone, what would be the justification for continuing the war? Better that he stay in power and continue sabotaging the war effort in the vain hope that his good boy behavior will spare him an appointment at the Hague.
lol. lmao even.
Z-Mandated Telegram Censorship
First of all, you have to understand just how crucial Telegram is to, basically everything related to this Not-War in terms of information, support, propaganda, and more.
In fact, because of the ABSOLUTE STATE of Russian communications, the soldiers have to often rely on Telegram because they don’t have communications of their own. The money was embezzled by Putin’s top generals and spooks and oligarch friends. Here:
Pavel Durov has done a lot for our army and our victory (https://t.me/SergeyKolyasnikov/61656) in the matter of communication provided by Telegram. This is not a joke.
It's just that in May of this year, Lieutenant General Shamarin, the head of the Main Communications Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces, was arrested (https://t.me/SergeyKolyasnikov/59906). And in March 2021, the head of the Main Communications Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces, General Khalil Arslanov, was arrested (https://t.me/SergeyKolyasnikov/44660) in connection with the theft of 6.7 billion rubles in the supply of Azart radio stations to the Armed Forces.
As a result, everything with communication is exactly as Murz described. (https://t.me/SergeyKolyasnikov/59909)
Murz was the doomer-blogger suffering from severe PTSD and survivor’s guilt who was bullied and threatened by state media mogul and Kremlin court Jew Vladimir Shapiro into killing himself, eventually.
Murz said that communications were non-existent on the front and that soldiers had to rely on social media. He also said that the cause was doomed and that Ukraine would roll into Russia on tanks and that the war would move in to Russia proper. He urged Russians to start taking precautionary measures and preparing for a 1917 scenario as best they could before he killed himself.
…
And now a word on Telegram because it is very relevant and absolutely central to all samizdat and volunteer efforts within Russia. Pavel Durov founded VK and Telegram and had to flee to London because of FSB goons and oligarchs threatening to carve up his face and/or throw him into a river.
In fact, Putin personally intervened and first helped his oligarch friend Igor Setchin steal VK (Russian Facebook) from Durov with an aggressive shakedown followed by a takeover of the social media start-up company. As per tradition, I ask you to ompare and contrast the personalities involved in the drama for yourself.
First, we have Putin’s close friend:
And then we have the evil Satanist-Nazi-Enemy of the Kremlin:
I don’t approve of steroids, but still, Durov has literally made himself into the Gigachad meme come to life and I can kind of respect that. In fact, the original Gigachad guy was a Russian model as well.
Pardon the digression.
We really do not have time for it today, I know. Back to the story.
So, after VK, Putin and his covetous friends then wanted to steal Telegram from Durov as well. As a result, Durov fled to London. There, he almost certainly had to hand over the keys to Telegram to MI5/6. Few know this, but before he was chased out of the country, Durov donated to conservative, nationalist and libertarian political groups. He flirted with the yellow, white and black of the Russian March movement too. But, Telegram censors Russian and Western nationalists now (not Ukrainians though). They banned Rusich’s old channel for “calls to violence” two years ago. This caused Rusich to personally appeal to Durov reminding him of his commitment to free speech. In Durov’s defense, Rusich’s subsequent channels were not banned. It seems clear to me that Durov was simply put between a rock and a hard place where both Moscow and the West told him to censor nationalists that are not approved by Langley.
The point is that the Kremlin drove this talented and once-principled tech-wiz into the arms of their supposed “enemies”. You see this story repeated over and over again even though the scale varies. Many people (like myself) have done all that they can and more to help Russia only to be spit on by the Russian government and treated like enemies. I am far from the only one with such a story to share, unfortunately.
This is not a mistake — it is a deliberate policy.
I bring this all up because the Kremlin is going after Telegram again and it looks rather grim for the future of any kind of free speech in Russia, generally.
We may be experiencing the very last days of Telegram in Russia.
❗Putin signed a law (https://t.me/regnum_na/61103), according to which owners of blogs and channels with 10 thousand subscribers or more will be required to register with Roskomnadzor.
YouTube is blocked already.
If Durov doesn't cave in, Telegram is next.
They will eventually try to ban Telegram, of course, if the situation continues to worsen and criticism directed their way by patriots continues to gain ground in the public consciousness. And trust me, NOTHING wakes people up more than military defeats. Almost all revolutions have been preceded by lost wars, not by famines or stock market declines or Biblical bullshit prophecies that American doomsday preppers unironically believe in.
More details:
Today, the Federation Council approved (https://t.me/regnum_na/61085) a law on deanonymization of channel owners in messenger apps. Let's talk again about what it brings us.
1⃣ Any channel owner with an audience of more than 10 thousand users will have to provide information about themselves to Roskomnadzor (RKN).
Questions:
▪️When we count subscribers, do we take bots into account? If yes, then any channel can suddenly have more than 10 thousand subscribers. And if not, then how?
▪️If the channel owner is a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces, does he automatically fall under the law on the "ban on gadgets"? The old prison riddle about two chairs with an unobvious choice comes to mind. [NOTE: idk what prison riddle he is referring to]
2⃣ Those "rebels" who for some reason do not submit information to RKN will be prohibited from posting ads, collecting donations, and posts from their channels won’t be reposted.
Questions:
▪️It turns out that people who do not want to disclose their personal data are equated with foreign agents, that is, with potential enemies of the people of Russia. Isn't that too much?
Only Satan-Analic-Nazis believe in online anonymity. True patriots register their opinions with the government first, obtain a posting license second, and then blindly repeat the same thing as government propaganda channels say third.
▪️The last ban is very strange in general. Who isn’t allowed to be reposted? Those who are on this register?
3⃣ A provision was added to the law according to which, within 24 hours of receiving a request from RKN, social network owners will have to restrict access to personal pages whose owners have not provided the regulator with data about themselves until the requirements of the law are met.
Questions:
▪️This is actually a ban on running a channel without mandatory registration with RKN. It seems that all this "action" was started for the sake of this provision. But how legal is this?
ℹReminder: Article 29 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, paragraphs 4-5:
“Everyone has the right to freely seek, receive, transmit, produce and distribute information by any legal means. Freedom of the mass media is guaranteed. Censorship is prohibited.”
Ah yes, the squiggly lines on the piece of fancy toilet paper say that the government can’t censor our speech! Well, case closed then, I guess. Check and mate, gubmint. Read it and weep!
After all, we all know that rights and freedoms are kept enshrined in our societies by pieces of paper with words written on them, right? So, as soon as Putin is alerted to the violation of the constitution taking place, he will no doubt slump back in his chair, defeated, and yell at the walls, “curses, foiled again!” as he balls up his fists for dramatic effect.
“I would have had them too if it wasn’t for that meddling constitution! Drat!”
And then everyone would clap, I’m sure, as freedom was restored.
▪️Since when is RKN considered the boss of social network owners, many of whom are citizens of other countries? Will the owners of messengers send our legislators to “catch butterflies on a farm”?
ℹReminder:
The founder of Telegram and VKontakte Pavel Durov was forced to leave Russia due to pressure from the special services, stating that Russia is “incompatible with the Internet business at the moment.” At one time, Durov refused to cooperate with the authorities and close Navalny’s page, as well as give the FSB data on the organizers of the “Euromaidan” groups on the VKontakte social network. Why would Durov suddenly decide to fulfill the whims of the Russian authorities? So, Durov will most likely refuse. And then... Telegram in Russia will probably be blocked (again).
[Note: this was back in Navalny’s supposed civic nationalist days.]
▪️Isn't banning Telegram in Russia the main goal of this bill?
4⃣ The law will also affect ordinary users. The provisions of the law oblige owners of social networks whose audience exceeds 500 thousand users per day to provide information about users at the first request of RKN or the Federal Security Service. Just like that, without any criminal cases and without a court decision. The composition of such information and the procedure for its provision will be established by the Russian government. Thus, they can simply request correspondence.
Questions:
▪️And how does this relate to the Constitution of the Russian Federation?
ℹ Reminder:
Article 23 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, paragraph 2:
"Everyone has the right to privacy of correspondence, telephone conversations, postal, telegraphic and other communications. Restriction of this right is allowed only on the basis of a court decision."
(…)
We will see if Telegram stays up in the coming days or not.
Moscow is racking up a lot of W’s lately, wouldn’t you agree? They get to surrender Russian territory to their esteemed Western partners, leave hundreds of soldiers to be taken prisoner/equipment captured, AND they get a reason to ban all criticism of their actions from patriotic Russians. For each Kievan success, Moscow rewards Russians with a tightening of the screws and even more callous treatment of the people caught up in the conflict.
Just … just brilliant, really.
Anyway, nowadays, Bastyon might be the better bet, but it is a total ghost house for now. Also: Telegram is an open book to NATO spooks. They know all about Russian soldiers’ movements and locations and supply issues, I assure you. This does not concern the Kremlin in the slightest, of course, and by now I am sure you understand why.
But let’s call it a day for now. We’ve had enough good news for one post. Time to put the bottle down.
Tomorrow I will discuss exactly how this breakthrough occurred, but it will be behind the paywall and I will be shaking down my selfish casual readers for money.
I did warn you that this would occur, same as I warned you about the next phase of this war. Point being: my prophecies/threats tend to come true. Best to just bite the bullet and send the money now because I will have some very choice words to hurl at non-supporters tomorrow. Becoming a supporter now will spare you the verbal scourging that I’m about to drop like a Kinzhal.
Go ahead and sign up to support the blog right now.
God, is this dismaying. I don't know where to begin, but it certainly convinces me Russia has been betrayed at the highest levels and that betrayal is only starting...
Protect yourself, Rolo. For those of us in West, behind the rainbow DEI curtain, you are the ONLY source of news.
And yes, I've paid, but that's only the beginning of my penance as a recovering Z-Anon fool...
Just last Wednesday, "Moon of Alabama" confidently stated: "Reserves in the region have been activated and will remove the Ukrainians from Russian terrain. There is no doubt that this will, within a day or two, be achieved."
