I keep hearing here in the U.S. from the anti-establishment right and left (Scott Ritter, Douglas Macgregor and friends) that the Russians have the Ukrainians and the West right where they want them and that a massive Russian blitzkrieg will be launched this winter to smash the Ukrainian Army to bits. Also, some also believe that Russia is holding back its best troops and equipment in order to strike at the most decisive moment. I stopped listening to Macgregor early in the war when he claimed that the bulk of the Ukrainian army was being destroyed in southeast Ukraine in one giant cauldron battle where the Ukrainians were completely surrounded and being annihilated. The mainstream media here (State propaganda) is a joke, but some of these other people are jokers as well, It makes no sense that Russia is wiping the floor with Ukraine (according to these people) when Russia has given up half of its territorial gains in Ukraine. I do not know how this is going to turn out, but the best I can tell is that it is close to a stalemate for the time being. Thank you for your articles as they seem grounded in reality as to the war, which is hard to find these days.

Ritter was saying how for every dead Russian soldier, 10 Ukrainian soldiers die.

So, somehow despite Russia having more troops, Ukraine still has troops after months of huge losses?

Ritter means well, but he's so full of himself. He predicted the war would be over in April 2023 or some shit. Ok cool, but on what basis? You were wrong about more than half the things that happened.

But because he's on the good side, people excuse a lot of ignorance and welcome assumptions.

Good point in regards to morality and laws. There can be no denying what so ever that the Russian leadership and 5D scam artist are insisting on framing the war as a moral crusade to reunite with the good people of the Ukraine as well as existential to defend Russia from NATO. However the Russian leadership are the most lawless and immoral people in Russia, does make you think...why are the most overtly cynical and those that benefit from Russias "laws for thee but not for me" system the most adamant that the war must be conducted with the maximum amount of restraint and consideration for the Ukrainian side.

In general Russias crook class doesn't comment much on the war but their control of how its fought is directly observable with the ridiculous disadvantages foisted on the Russian army. These disadvantages are than spun by the 5D Kremlin bots and the government as being the result of humanitarian overtures to the people of Ukraine. That cynical tactic is actually very effective against Westerners sympathetic to Russia for whom having genuine moral high ground is important. Against Russians it doesn't seem to work as much from my ancedotal observations hence Russian society having a more realistic understanding of whats happening right now.

Ive seen quite a few videos of Russian boomers saying that all Ukrainian POWs should be executed. That also seems to be the opinion of all the taxi drivers ive spoken with about the war. At the bus stop I over heard a conversation between 2 Babushkas and one said Russia needs to carpet bomb Kiev, the other said her nephew lives there. The first Babushkas than says in total sincerity that she hopes he wont be hurt during the bombing. The Rusich guys have overtly stated that taking prisoners is stupid and Vladlen Tartarsky has sideways hinted at it and he calls for declaring the whole AFU a terrorist organisation.

My general impression is that Russian does not view the Ukrainians with any charity right now. They do view them as brothers, but brothers they really hate. A really good example of the tactical kindness idiocy is the recent unilateral ceasefire for Russian Christmas imposed from above by Moscow for the Russian side. Western Russia sympathizers seemed to really think it proved some moral point about how the Russian leadership are better people for whatever thats worth. And its worth absolutely nothing. Russians just thought it telegraphed weakness, stupidity, and was a bad sign that Moscow is living in a parallel reality where Russias enemies can be reasoned with or shamed.

I've always thought the US's goals were much easier:

1. Stop NS2 from happening and get Europe to kill itself economically.

2. Get Russia to waste resources in a costly war.

3. Use the war as an excuse for the US waste resources by transferring huge amounts of money to the MIC.

4. Use sanctions to force regime change in Russia and divide Russia up.

1, 2, and 3 are succeeding but 4 won't. 3 out of 4 is pretty good though. Despite the sanctions massively backfiring, they don't really care that much right now.

The big flaw in that four-step dance is that Russia is technologically much further ahead in effective battle-tech than the US (for now).

The US is caught in a "fail upwards" managerial bureaucracy trap. It doesn't matter whether the tech is effective, only that it's expensive (and gets more expensive, so it creates more profits). Russia has better control at making things work. America's MIC builds Bugattis while Russia builds 370Z's. Hilariously, this seems to be because while Russia's corruption is endemic, it's somewhat federated and moderated by the Kremlin acting as top mafioso (because it's threat is existential), while the US is centrally-planned corrupt and not seeing any existential threat (yet).

In addition, the US has traditionally drawn upon it's Southern and rural populations for men to fight it's wars, but it's turning out putting your life and limb on the line so you and the "democratic free world's" kids can chop their tits and dicks off and banksters and politicians can keep raking in the dough while handing out gibs to anybody other than evil whitey isn't exactly a great recruitment strategy. Russia on the other hand, seems to have a population that doesn't want that future, and their government is acting accordingly.

So, the war will be won by the least-retarded/woke/demoralized actor, in this case Russia.

I mean, you really have to look at it as just large wealth transfers to weapons manufacturers. I find it hilarious that Russian and Chinese military tech has caught up to and in some cases is ahead of American tech. When the pentagon fails every single audit you know the money isn't even going where they say it is

It's a good analogy - at the level of national politics/war, morality has never been a factor. It's used an an excuse or justification.

Also, occasionally (rare) it is possible to win a rigged game.

Everything in this is great except:

"Neither is Germany or anybody else being forced to sacrifice their quality of life"

Not true, they're freezing their asses off. Watch this to break soon due to economic realities.

"Instead of being part of an independent civilization and power bloc, they want to be a satrapy of Washington, which is, in turn, a satrapy of Israel. What can I say other than if you set your sights low in life, it’s much easier to succeed."

I'm not sure it's fair to say the Ukrainian people want this, but who ever cared what the people want, amirite? Expect this to end in a decade or less. You can't demoralize your host and then expect them to defend you when the main motivation for support and defense is... Morality. This should have been obvious, but some chosen people are impenetrable to reason and self-reflection due to chronic cultural vaginalisms and inability to restrain themselves (but I repeat myself).

(BTW turning vagina into a verbal noun is hilarious and I will be using it daily and attributing it to you. It should be used at every opportunity and introduced into common parlance immediately.)

The elite Ukrainians with agency must be aware that by joining the EU and NATO they will be under America's thumb. Given what we have seen in places like Ireland, Poland, and in the Ukraine itself, it's impossible to still cling to petty ethnonationalist fantasies.

So we must assume they are happy with satrapy status if it allows them to stick their tongue out at Russia. They don't even get money and security.

And not referring to (((Ukrainians))). Would like to hear Rolo's take on the mindset of guys like the White Rex founder.
