Serbia is not a Russian colony.

In the final phase of WWII Yugoslavia managed to expel Germans by itself, thanks in no small part to it being a secondary front for a Wehrmacht which was facing disastrous situations elsewhere.

Hence the Soviets didn't occupy the country and as a result didn't manage to impose a spook system there controlled by them, as happened in the rest of the Warsaw Pact.

Yugoslavia may even have been outside the Warsaw Pact altogether IIRC. A non-aligned country leaning East, just as Sweden was a non-aligned country leaning West, during the cold war.

To be fair to Prigozhin Strelkov was taking pot shots at him and Wagner in general long before Prigozhin started shit talking Strelkov. Its just that on a scale between 1-10 Strelkovs criticism and complaints were around level 4 and Prigozhin just outright goes straight to 10 at like the first response. Also some of Strelkovs complaints were just petty, "why did you do a dirty deal with SBU and bash in that traitors head" sure I think was not appropriate myself but who really cares? "Why did you send that sledgehammer to Brussels" come on Strelkov you are always saying we need to get serious with the West. "Prigozhin and Kadyrov are undermining the Army" bro, Strelkov I love you 4 real but come on man... coming from you? Than Strelkov started comparing Wagner to SS Totenkopf (kinda based but in Russia thats not a complement generally speaking) and saying Prigozhin is a bad commander who wastes his mens lives and he should refuse the orders to make frontal assaults. Maybe the latter has some truth, but again just like there is no evidence for Strelkov taking bribes to abandon Slavyansk there is no evidence of Wagner suffering from low morale or lacking any fighting spirit. Actually it looks like the opposite and if Wagner was taking massive losses in frontal assaults than there would be a corresponding problem with moral and troops not being adequately aggressive. If anything Wagners guys correspond much more closely to the late WW1 German storm troops detachments that operated in fairly small groups but due to being well trained, armed and aggressive they were fairly effective but they were too few and too late to change the course of the war.

Strelkov has been throwing out stuff like that for months. So this didnt flair up just now. Like I said Prigozhin just went full nuclear with his first public response and threw out some accusations that are totally without evidence which undermined his response. I personally have some reservations about Prigozhin as well, half neocon is a disqualifier generally speaking when it comes to trust plus his weird satanic black cube church in ะณะพั€ัั‡ะตะน ะบะปัŽั‡ (not even going to try Latinizing that) suggest he is aligned with the powers of bad taste at best and outright evil perhaps. But for all that he like Kadyrov is definitely an Oligarch who understands that he is dead if Russia loses this war. It looks like such people are the best we can do right now.

Honestly the more I follow the war and developing Z drama the more I realise that Strelkov just has an abrasive and difficult personality. He isnt ever wrong when it comes to the big picture at the front and he has been proven to be a prophet basically so im not by any means anti Strelkov what so ever. Its just I think the fact that he is always right in his front analysis combined with being subject to constant BS slander has gone to his head and turned him into an incredibly difficult person to deal with.

The whole situation is sort of absurd, Strelkov starts with the low level and somewhat petty pot shots and Prigozhins ego proves fragile enough that responds with a defcon 10 meltdown that makes him look ridiculous. Like if Prigozhin had just left it at "well come to the LNR bro or you have no balls" that would have been perfect and productive but instead he makes himself look like a hysterical women by repeating all the tired lies about Strelkov. Gay.

Rolo, you are obviously articulate, intelligent and a clever writer. I appreciate many of your insights. On the other hand, I'm sorry that you have given yourself over to believing in werewolves, vampires and devilish Jewry. It's a tired old tale told over pitchforks and torches. Also, you have great insight into the institutional church but fail to recognize the real spiritual one. Some of the slang you use is unknown to your newer readers like me, please explain them from time to time.

The fake Pope left out that the Samaritans (House of Israel) are descended from Jacob's favorite son Joseph. When Christ said that he favored the Samaritan over the Jew in the "Good Samaritan" story the Jews were enraged. In no way the Samaritans are Jews, but the fake Pope ignores all this. Why are not the Samaritans called "big brothers?" Palestinians are largely Samaritans that converted to Christianity and Islam, so it is a fact that the true owners of Israel are Palestinians.

If bible quotes undercut Zionism, then they should be used.

I am suffering from confusion on steroids.

First let me admit, before today , I had no idea what Wagner is. Like so many other words that pop up in this war, nobody ever explains what they mean, and I just wait until somebody explains. But nobody ever did. So I just presumed that, like everybody else in this utterly insane part of the world, that people blast music over their PA systems in the middle of battle, which are invariably dead-people's-music known in my country generically as classical music. We have people who play this stuff too, and we call them Toorak, an Aboriginal name for insane people, the kind you would not want your daughter to bonk.

Anyway, I now suspect music is not part of this mob, so who are they? Which brings me to another source of confusion. Just as I could not tell you who plays my favourite music, or who are the actors in my favourite movies, I never bother to identify the authors of sentences that make sense to me. I appreciate and move on. So, when I read that some bloke said "every human being has the right to access to the first rung of the ladder of social and economic ascension" I just thought to myself, "Cool; this dude just summed up equal opportunity". This is central to democracy.

Later, I was informed the author of that sentence was Adolph Hitler. "You are a Nazi", the university students who I was drinking with proclaimed.

I have discovered that my values identify my allegience to all kinds of political philosophies that I have never heard of. I am now a Nazi. Also a Communist, because I agree with 'each according to his means, and each according to his needs'. A democrat because I believe in government of the people, by the people and for the people, and an evil atheist because I believe in no gods.

You can see why I am confused. But I also like Strelkov and General Lebed.

Help me, someone.

It seems that the Wagner group have actually made a movie, a proper feature film. There's a preview of it on YT which, while I am surprised it hasn't been booted off yet, looks pretty good. I hope that this represents the start of Wagner diversifying as media creators. They could even start a streaming service. They could call it Njetflix.

Russian patriots should avoid any type of Hitlerism that Uktin is supporting. If Russians want to promote fascism, link it to Portuguese fascism because the fascist Portugal sorta/kinda beat Japan in WW II, because Japan agreed to withdrawal from Timor. People like winners. They also had a kinda/sorta somewhat alliance with the USSR against Japan.

You often discuss the FSB and less frequently, the GRU. My vague impression is that the former is operationally involved with state intelligence (both domestic and international) while the latter is administratively military.

I'm unclear about the differences between these organizations, not just in terms of where they formally fit into the Russian government, but also how they compare politically, operationally, administratively, etc. Are they competitors or 2 arms of some security beast, or is their relationship along some other axes?

In the US, for example, the FBI legally provides crime investigation and law enforcement, and informally functions as an overt political enforcement arm. The CIA operates formally as an intelligence-gathering operation, and de facto engages in clandestine operations of wide range and dubious legality.

I'd really love to hear you compare FSB and GRU along these lines.

Whether you think this is stupid or not, thanks for your writing, and thanks even more if you actually discuss this.

Has anyone else reached the conclusion that humans are trash and should be eradicated? You have the peasant livestock and the depraved psychos who own them... neither are good. It's like some kind of hellscape eco-system. I agree with the likes of yuval harari about useless eaters, but unlike our yidividual supremacist friend I view all bipedal sentient apes as pure fucking trash. It's the scariest movie ever

One more military push!!!! - are they waiting for the spring thaw so it can all get bogged down and have to be abandoned again in humiliating fashion.

And while all this crap it happening, there are some very sinister moves going on. Europe is now so totally subjugated to the US GAE that the Germans are just handing over their hold on the market for tanks in Europe to US military industry. GAE advanced tanks and fighters (next bombers) for Ukraine. Poland is mobilizing 300 000 (claimed, almost certainly more) - Just for show? Come on, think again. Poland has big ambitions and the US is egging them on. They will get involved heavily in Ukraine, but more likely after they have pushed a few hundred thousand troops into the Baltics (at their invitation of course) - first step to a greater Poland (taking over UK role as main US vassal in Europe). And then - a tighter and tighter squeeze on Kaliningrad. So what will the hapless Putin do - phone Xi, phone Erdogan.. make useless threats... bluster.. have meetings... sign documents ... and eventually bye bye Kaliningrad. Next likely Polish move - might be to enter Ukraine in force to make up any Ukrainian shortfall in troops. But not unlikely a move on western Belarus, just to grab territory and then hold it. What then - a full on war with NATO. Just what the US wants as they will send the dollars and equipment and the Europeans will be forced to mobilize and fight while the US sends token troops. The Germans and French, and the rest may bluster a bit at first, but expect them and the rest to fully mobilize and pile in too. And don't make the mistake of underestimating that... there is no way RF today would be able to match what Europe can put into the field when it really does. The Soviets would have .. but that was a long time ago and a different regime and state.

This is all going so well for the US - its industry is benefitting enormously and saving the economy. No body bags coming home - no Vietnam here -- almost all the fighting done by others in far away countries. Pathetically incompetent and inadequate Russian response and military effort. Sending trillions of dollars is nothing - they just crank up the printing presses . It's just a Neocon dream come true for them... so escalation, escalation, and escalation is inevitable. Big escalation. If Putin and the Russian elite get their act together very quickly, and it will have to be very quickly indeed, they might just be able to hold out .... otherwise 'm afraid they're done for.
