What do you think - is there little possibility to make peace between Russia and Europe? Of course, few presumptions are: to remove all this cio-kriptocracy from our states, and to destroy - here on west side - this toxic EU organisation, NATO also. Of course, all ZAnon and NATOanons must be censored. And, of course, Zelenski and his cio-friends must go. Because, as we all can see - we here, not in RF, not in EU, I mean ordinary people - we are not enemies to each other, enemies are people who are in our govrnments and this people send so many strange ilegal imigrants - and they are living here better then us. Yes, I think, especially Slav people, we are so similar, we even understand each other when we talk....ok, that's enough. I was always a little bit stupid, because I'm optimist at the end. The Putin situation reminds me a bit of Lyndon Johnson when the Vietnam War was just heating up. Johnson didn't want to be known as a President who lost a war. But, he had other plans for his Presidency, like a big social justice push. So, his tendency was to spoon feed the fighting, just enough to keep from losing, but not enough to make waves in the US or, heaven forbid, actually win the war. (Not that the US has a right to determine the government of another country). Eventually, spoon feeding a war machine blew up and he had the worst of both worlds: a thoroughly disrupted domestic social and economic situation, and a full-blown war with no chance of winning.
I'm getting the impression Putin had a plan to threaten Ukraine into a neutrality with an easy growl. The West and NATO (perhaps not as stupid as The Duran and Martyanov make them out to be) torpedoed his plan and he had no real alternate. The Russian economy is doing pretty well, so Putin would rather not rock the boat, but the hot potato is still in his hands.
