Is Lukashencko speaking on behalf of someone, and if so who? Or does he just hold the people running Russia in total contempt? If what he is saying is true and it likely is than the Kremlin started the SMO to actually knife Donbass in the back even harder, unannex Crimea and than assume that since Medvedchuk was president of Ukraine that all would work out fine in the end. Its so stupid, so slimy, so cynical that its just makes sense given what we have learned about the way Russia actually works in the last year and a half. Just like 2014/2015 Moscow literally doesn't want their own troops to win too hard, and they have been accused of making sure they dont from people that actively hate eachother like Prigozhin and Strelkov. History rhyming and repeating as farce and all that.
Well I unironically salute and say glory to the actual Russian troops and mercs at the front who have actually managed to keep the whole SMO from just imploding. What Army has ever been knifed this hard in the back? The dirtiest street whores get treated with more dignity by their pimps than Russia treats its own citizens if we are speaking of Donbass and Crimea. You could add Belgorod to that list as well now.
Rolo have you been keeping up with Z telegram drama? Apparently Rybar is an admin or somehow associated with a pro Ukrainian telegram channel lol.
It seems like the classic thing that happens with anyone involved in info work. Both sides gain by cooperating and sharing info so that they can wow their audiences.
Maybe it is that.
Maybe it is them hedging their bets. Maybe they are getting paid (info gypsies don't actually have any views).
Rybar is an old ex spook isn't he? He's connected with the Kremlin.
Testing, testing. - In case other Stalkers are "behind on the news", and in the interest of context, I wanted to note that while our corner of the information space was fervidly analyzing the Russian president's impressive news conference performance (assuming it was not some sort of deep fake), here, stateside, much of the news (or information space at least) concerned the American president's public hawking of some Democrat -affiliated celebrity's new film and of his subsequent attempted public fondle of her right breast and of her evasive maneuvers . Copious comments on the relative success of their maneuvers ensued.
I will be several days late reading Putin; while I do not hang on his every word as I (and perhaps we) admittedly did 12-14 months ago; and while I have learned to be suspicious of just how much real power he enjoys, he certainly is worth reading closely. Is there any other major political figure of whom that can be said? Luka? - he needs his own blogger perhaps - and not, just in the nature of things, in the same league.
I am constantly having to re evaluate what i think i know, and what i actually understand about this 'conflict'. I admit to getting a mild headache trying to 'unlearn what i have learned' Part of the problem is that as a westerner who knows about two words of Russian, and who cannot even pronounce most of the political players mentioned in Rolo's blogs, i really don't know who these Russians are, having only really heard about them in any detail from non western sources. I understand the western sleeze bags, and i have totally grasped the lie that was/is covid. But Russian politics is a steep learning curve...
There's a lot to be said for any sort of peace treaty that would stop the Slavs from senselessly killing each other. If the deal involved putting Crimea and the Donbass on a "lease arrangement" or some other sort of political purgatory for 15 years, so what?
As long as the shelling stops, I say that any deal is a good deal. And if Russian oligarchs get to enjoy the last dying gasps of Western prosperity and opulence (or even decadence) I don't see anything wrong with that either.
So I appreciate that Putin offered this deal, and regret that NATO was too foolish to follow through with it.
And hooray for Rolo for reporting!! Otherwise I would be even more clueless than I am.
Whatever there was in the negotiations back then, it certainly has emboldened the west (and Ukraine). Even though I would be willing to cut Putin some slack due to the unknown consequences of the sanctions, behaving in a way to embolden your enemy is never a good idea.

News from a parallel universe:
The Kremlin considers the demilitarization of Ukraine "largely accomplished"
It does appear that at least some in Russia are desperately looking for a way out.
At the moment it doesn't appear the West is going to let them off the hook, at least without heavy reparations it would seem.

Also one of greyzones admins is probably a member of the Russian volunteer corps that are on Kievs side and sending DRGs into Belgorod.

Z telegram about as swampy as the Kremlin itself. Its appropriate I guess.
About the Z-telegram channels.

Idk, what do you make of it?
A simple construction on what you have written is that a protracted man and materiel draining conventional conflict was intended from the beginning.
That would explain the inexplicable pauses, withdrawals, suicidal assaults and the non-bombing of the Ukie supplying bridges.
I don't think this is all madness, there is a plan that is not obvious.

This is part of it. Deagel has a bleak forecast for them too.

Coincidentally China does not have such a diverse agenda or accept mass immigration of muslims etc.
It is all too easy to envision a future history where China looks back on the fallen degenerate West: Tsk-tsk they got what they deserved.
You couldn't make this up:

Pervert and ghoul Bill Gates de facto gives $50 million to the Chinese military to create new weapons to kill Americans.
Following the Biden family's example, the entire U.S. leadership class openly and without retribution betrays the country.
Where is Ivan the Terrible when you really need him

what i need is a phonetic 'idiots guide' to pronouncing Russian political names!

On a different note: I think they failed the IQ test. The humans that is.
