My condolences to Margarita. Riley is busy starting an organic farming cult in Northern Russia and cannot stay tied to one woman. He can break the trend of all cults these days being boring no fun zones and his descendants can repopulate Russia after the 5000IQ President for life Putin's Kenyans cause the collapse of civilization in the slavlands.

Ritter and Macgregor. I had such high hopes for those patriotic American lads telling us the inverse of the neocons. The mind fucking is an awful carnival ride like the scene in 'The Princess Bride' where the genius is trying to guess in which cup has the poison.

b) intelligible to so few people that it has no influence;

c) banned.

Both sides are working hard at losing the war, pitting Ukraine's incompetence and coruption against Russia's incompetence and corruption. It's a stalemate, a two-way tie for last place and has been for nearly two years - just look at this map: https://www.understandingwar.org/backgrounder/russian-offensive-campaign-assessment-may-20-2024 (scroll down, note the distance scales towards the bottom of the maps)

Now, if Russia imports 200,000 Kenyans to work in agriculture and construction, and they do it by Kenyan standards, then incompetence and corruption in Russua will increase, allowing it to lose faster and more effectively. I'm sure Ms Simonyan would count this a a win. Professor Dugin and the Novorossiya people might have a different opinion...

Hey! - Your link is the group I have been calling (and frequently linking here) "The DC neocons" for about two years ; Victoria Nuland has family ties to leading personnel. (I was hoping to set up Rurik with an interview with Kateryna Stepanenko but nothing ever came of it - https://www.understandingwar.org/press-media/staff-bios/kateryna-stepanenko)

Point is, they have very definite affiliations and aims (Ukr and, err... neocons, in general) but still have been the source of the most reliable reportage on the war of which I am aware. Kudos to the much battered notion of "objectivity".

And yes, the maps contain a wealth of information and depict a military conflict which continues to be essentially linear - i.e. a very WWI-like slugfest now tilting towards modest Russian gains along substantial stretches of a largely static front.

Yep, definitely neocons, all the way - but their maps are the best I've seen, and maps don't lie, like most of the Youtube commentariat on either side, they let their partisanship get in the way of objective analysis, and they're just not useful for anything. Entertainment, yes, real value no.

As to Ukraine, substituting Belousov for Shoigu and leaving Gerasimov in place isn’t going to help Russia. Actually, Belousov will help Ukraine far more than Russia. Now, if Putin were to replace Gerasimov with Surovikin - and Surovikin was given free rein to sort out Russia’s command staff, Ukraine would have real concerns…

I looked at the maps from April 22, April 23 and April 24. There is basically no change. These maps may be the best way to wake someone up from their Putin Anon sleep

I've gotten an idea. What if Putin's 69d chess lies in actually keeping Russia from a war with China? The longer the pseudo-war in the Ukraine lasts, the longer America will be unable to goad Russia into attacking China!

Of course, that would be contingent on Putin's inability to prevent a war with China in any other way. And Sofa Legion Strategist thinks the very Russian body politic would prevent a war with China anyway. It's complicated.

P.S. Have you heard of Konstantin Krylov?

Krylov seems to think that nukes are like really powerful conventional bombs - but they're not. Conventional bombs have strictly local effects, nuclear weapons do not - nukes have fallout - downwind plumes of radioactive dust. So if Putin wants to try to drive his point home and uses a tactical nuke on Kryvy Rih - Zelenskyy's hometown - then the radioactive plume wipes out Russian prime agricultural lands to the east, because plants take up radioactivity from the soil. So maybe his generals have clued him into this inconvenient fact.

As for China, they've already redrawn their maps, so Russia's Far East - including Vladivostok - is now Chinese territory - and Vladivostok has its old pre-1860 Chinese name. And if Russia keeps decimating its army in Ukraine, the Chinese could just move in and take it. Which is why Putin is so interested in Ukraine, especially the coastal oblasts - Odessa, Zaporhizhzhia, Crimea - because the Black Sea seems to have what looks to be extensive and rich oil formations. Couple that with no permafrost and a warm water port or two, and Ukraine is the solution to the Far East problem. Incidentally, Putin has a PhD from St Petersburg Mining University in natura; resource economics, which he got in 1997.

The people are spiritually unconscious, you have to present concepts like your explaining politics to infants.

European states are struggling to get aligned with either Eurasia or Oceania. (To prove Orwell correct vis a vie 1984 “A novel”). So new “borders” can be created.

It’s amazing what a war can do to alleviate unemployment.

If you continue to disparage the beautiful love story between Margarita and Ryley in your articles Rolo (seriously drop the Skywalker name, it just sounds (((Dysney))) and very gay nowadays, good for SEO though I'm sure, and I used to like Star Wars, mostly the EU), I will cancel my paypiging and you will not get a nice Jewish girl ! You have been warned !

Skywalker was the Hyperborean who met with Pythagor and passed on the wisdom of his people as well as title of head priest of Apollo. Skywalker also was a great traveler who could fly on an arrow from the British Isles to the Caucasus like the wind.

What is strange to consider is that Lucas almost certainly didn’t know this when he wrote his script.

I have imitated your snarky tone in my comment, however, your writing always leaves me more confused than illuminated. I am left to wonder of you are a limited hangout. Your position is unique among the information I find and it is so different than even the "alternative" sources I follow I often can not tell when you are being sarcastic. Have a little mercy on us American idiots trying to discern the reality of the situation. Our culture has been forcefully separated from that of Russia for our entire lives. We really know nothing about it. I suspect that we are perhaps the most similar cultures in the world and that our division is the lynchpin to world domination. Imagine if Germany, Russia and the U.S were allies- all driving Toyotas of course, so we would have the time to fix everything else.

Thank you, why is Russia dragging this out? Is the strength of their military exaggerated, is it incompetence, corruption, is Putin another puppet of the globalists, all of the above? What is his strategy? I understand he was forced into this by NATO expansion and the 2014 coup. Is it true that Russia is benefiting economically and if so are the people of Russia benefiting economically? In the Russia/CCP joint treaty they agree to honor the WHO. So back to being confused…

The US is being ripped apart from the inside. The Federal government is completely owned by foreign entities but I do not get the sense that Russia is one of them. There are no Russians invading the Southern Border. The US is being economically destroyed, hemorrhaging 10 billion per day since the Lockdown. People are dying and disabled from the bioweapon and violence and homelessness are rampant...all by design. Is Russia being attacked in the same way or is it mainly the US, EU, Australia, Canada and Japan?
