what's is also interesting with this war is it reveal, as usual, we have imagined...the war before.

In 1914, French troops acted like if it was 1870 again

In 1939, French troops (better equiped than whermacht) acted like if it was 1915.

So, a lot of people, me including, thought this war would be 1991 or 2003 again : aircraft rule, quick victory, enormous amout of deads. (because of news fantastic weapons, bla bla).

And what we saw : a week of 1940, 6 months of 1915, and a september like 1870. But no crypto-war, not massive bombing, not supernewswunder weapons.

Let's be honest : we, people at home very interested by this war, have no clue what happen, what's behind the doors of chancelleries.

We just hope for a win.

(at least, we, russian good side, are more cautious with news than evil ukrophiles, which seems litterally eating every single shit their MSM deliver to them)

With the help of a map of the Kherson region, it's easier to visualize what I think happened there, as I have not read yet any clarifying report from either side https://s2.cdnstatic.space/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/15october2022_Ukraine_Odessa_KryvyiRih_Map.jpg

The old Russia line extended, in what is now represented on the map as blue territory, from Blagodatovka-Davidov Brod northward to Arkangelsk, well covered behind the Ingulets river, then turned East among the fields all the way up to reaching the Dniepr at Osokorivka. I think at the beginning of October a mass Ukraine assault, sustained in time, infiltrated the Russian line defending these fields from Arkangelsk to Osokorivka.

The problem with this is that the other Russian line deployed on the East in front of the Ingulets, would now be in the danger of attacks on its right side by the infiltrated Ukrainian from the North. Thus they'd have river and Ukrainians on the West side, Ukrainians coming down on them on their North and East, and other Russian troops blocking them on the South side. This is called being taken by enfilade and it's a textbook infantry tactic to make an enemy retreat from a fortified line. The Russians could do the same if they take Bakhmut and roll down towards Donetsk.

This I think is why the Russians fell back to their current positions. It's not because it's shorter and more defensible, but they really were forced by events to abandon a sound defense line behind a river. After Kharkov, this was another game manoeuvre by the Ukrainians resulting in a tactical victory.

For the rest, nowadays the killing zone is so lethal, with precise indirect artillery fire guided by observational drones, night vision thermal equipment for snipers, mines and IED scattered everywhere, that you absolutely do not want to be there for any sustained amount of time, if you mildly wish to keep yourself whole.

Don't worry about the U.S. Armed Forces. They are only for the show and for woke culture. Imagine how many US professional fighters were purged by the Brandon Assholeminstration for not getting jab and plus those who jabbed with poison. As for recent recruits, I have my sympathy for them, because they are not trained enough. Five to 10 days is not training at all and they are not professional army but simply militia. They are simply sacrificed to the altar of Satan.

WHAT NEXT IN THE ELECTRIC WAR FOR UKRAINE – HOW MARSHAL KUTUZOV’S GOLDEN BRIDGE FOR NAPOLEON’S RETREAT IS WORKING TODAY

http://johnhelmer.net/what-next-in-the-electric-war-for-ukraine-how-marshal-kutuzovs-golden-bridge-for-napoleons-retreat-is-working-today/

By sustaining the attacks with low-cost drones, the North American source comments, “it is unlikely that the Ukrainian utility crews, certainly exhausted now and terrified from working around the clock to effect repairs, using what must be dwindling stocks of spares, will be able to keep up. Where will Ukrainian utilities like DTEK, find in-time spares for 330kV gear that is unique to Russia and the CIS countries? Furthermore, will 1000MVA, 750kV-330kV autotransformers, with all their required metering, control and protection relays, breakers, etc., fall out of the sky like the Russian, Iranian, or Turkish drones do? The answers to those questions are nowhere and no.”

“We can anticipate that the strongest attacks, in terms of concentration, accuracy and impact, will occur with lower temperatures. Now, with winter just weeks, if not days, away, inclement weather including high winds, heavy, wet snow — all famous for knocking down power lines — will only compound the problems for the Ukrainians.”

“Who can doubt that the Russians will coordinate their strikes with the poor weather, using it as a force multiplier? Just like old Kutuzov did to the French.”

We will soon see whether Russia has decided to really win this war or simply go through the motions.

MOA, Johnson and Ritter are steadfastly convinced that at any moment the Russians are going to sweep the Ukraine. They have been saying that for months.

My concern is that they are confusing what obviously should happen with what is happening. This is starting to remind me of how many Trump supporters kept being convinced that Trump was playing 5D chess. The craziest was Vox Day and other true believers with their God Emperor, Q, he's going to cross the Rubicon nonsense.

I think the "philosophizing" is helpful, if it is followed up with firm suggestions about what could be done to improve the situation.

There are those who would answer: "Nothing! This is life on Earth; get used to it!"

For those of us who don't agree with that attitude, we remain confronted with a conflict. We will be accused of "not knowing what we are talking about" because we have not experienced war first hand. Our "solutions" will be seen as unrealistic or utopian. And many of them probably will be.

But if our ideal scene is peace, not war; abundance, not scarcity, then we should work to achieve that and just realize there are those here who want the opposite.

From my point of view, the higher-level war is the war against insanity, and above that, the war against ignorance about insanity. All who want to "do something about it" have to start somewhere, and that is where those who are not enmeshed in the toils of daily threats to theie bodily survival can start.

If you have friends or family who could be directly affected by this war, or any of the other wars currently being carried out on this planet, I can understand you wanting to stay in touch with what's going on, and hoping, perhaps, that one of the sides will "win."

But the rest of us can step back and consider what level of depravity is required to start such a conflict, and what inevitable damage will result from it, particularly if it lasts a long time. Last I heard, about half of all Afghans are starving. Can you imagine what death by slow starvation must feel like? If we want to ever live better than that, we need to figure out how to push out that depravity and replace it with something better. And we are the ones, not yet starving or carrying weapons, who will have to do it. I, at least, am aware there are answers and that people are working on them. My job on my own blog and in the forums is to invite others to become better informed and find some way to contribute.

Poor guy gets mobilized and is dead at the front a few days later. Legit sad and Im genuinely curious if he ended up at the front because of corruption or he was actually sent on purpose. If he was sent on purpose immediately after mobilization than its actually less awful IMO. Sending fresh meat to the grinder is exactly how NATO/Ukraine turned things around when their front was collapsing and thats exactly what Russia may very well be doing due to pure necessity. A couple thousand guys who were civilians a few days ago being spammed to Kherson could be the difference between the line holding or another successful regrouping.

Historically, raw troops are partnered with experienced War Fighters who teach them what to do. The American classic THE RED BADGE OF COURAGE shows how a man can become a hero immediately after showing cowardice on the field of battle. It will be interesting to see how Amerika's "Trans Army" does against fighting men.
