[The Three Ruling Factions: Oligarchs v Sorosites v Nationalists, Kuchma and the Creation of the Oligarch State, Dniepopetrovsk: the Crime Capital of Europe, the NWO of Post-Maidan Ukraine and more!]
It's interesting to hear that Dnepropetrovsk is the crime capital of Europe, since it is slated to become Heavenly Jerusalem! Those heavenly people also want Odessa, so presumably it must also be crime-ridden as well as infested with them.
Why is that river on the map as Dnieper , but referred to as Dnipro? Is it a matter of grammar?
Some quick internet searches tell me that it is not a matter of grammar, since Russian, like English grammar is based mainly on word order, rather than on changing word endings as with Latin and Greek.
They also inform me that Dnipro is the Ukrainian version of Dnieper. However, that city was Russian since before Ukrainian was invented - although under other names. It seems the Communists changed it to Dnepropetrovsk in 1926, which leads me to wonder whether this was in one of their localising phases.
It looks as if this is an instance of Ukrainian infiltrating English to replace names which had previously been accepted from Russian.
I’d be willing to put up some international beer tokens if you could put together a crude glossary of the major people involved on both sides. Emphasis on crude, layouring I can do myself.
One of the best insights I got from the conversation was the observation that the EU members are required to have no national tariffs whatsoever. Tariffs and immigration control are vital to the existence of a nation state. So, membership in the EU is an explicit surrender by a country of any pretense to a national identity or national independence.
This stupid and insane violence we see so much of is the direct result of the powerlessness of the powerless.
Our government officials and talking heads, worldwide, taut our system as a civilized and representative democracy.
Periodically they let us, the citizens, vote for representatives who, each and everyone, promise to do the right thing.
Voting for someone to change government policy is the only means we have to redress our grievances.
Yet the Congress and Legislatures openly admit that they do not read, examine or debate any of the laws they vote on. In the USA, they vote on one hundred - 2,000 page laws per day.
The honest representative admits that they vote the way their advisors tell them to vote.
According to the powerless, nothing changes except for the worse.
As responsible Citizens, we must develop a way to evaluate 200 Thousand pages of law speak per day.
This evaluation must be public, transparent and in a form that the representative can view in order make their vote congruent with that of their constituents.
Ross Perot called it The Electronic Townhall.
And we must decide who gets to participate in this amplified voting, and how the vote is counted and what specific impact the sacred vote has at the business end of government.

I think your survey itself is indicative of the problem of instituting a direct democratic form of government. Almost nobody is going to actually read laws. Perhaps there should be a rule that no law can be more than 10 pages. The real key is to drastically limit the scope of governments.
Fair question. Let's begin with the total elimination of national spook agencies. Eliminate any secret police. Eliminate any sort of civil service tenure in government bureaucracy. Give total power over the bureaucracy to the elected executive. Eliminate fair election laws except that all contributions and agreements have to be public. Institute complete freedom of association including employment and real estate.
I assume that humanity will not be lucky enough to have a benevolent dictator arrive on the scene to do all these things for us. Therefore we have to do them our selves.
I will admit that the likely hood of peaceful democratic change in our favor approaches zero. But since it is the only possibility; would you parse your plan into questions that the Amplified Citizen Voters can ratify or annul ?
Well, no. I'm not going to spend my time drawing up a list of questions that nobody is going to read and even fewer are going to take positive steps to implement. A person I follow for ideas is Robert Barnes at vivabarneslaw.com. Barnes, however, takes a very establishment view on Israel except he doesn't completely support the devastation of Gaza. But, he tends to avoid the subject as much as he can. Just to say, you have to develop your own views and not follow anyone slavishly.

idk, my grasp on grammar in any language is tenuous at best

Sounds like you are describing Serfdom. Ruling elites controlling their patch & posting populist politicians to secure power & control for profit

This whole meandering "talk" could have been condensed into about two pages of text. I hate these rambling unprepared "talks." Pure bullshit.
