Russian Patriots Are Already Fed Up With This Not-War

Welcome to the Slavland Chronicles blog! Yes, I am a blogger again! We are taking a break from long essays, finally! So, congratulations aside, that means commenting on other people’s comments. The scandal du semaine is the news that many in Russia’s traitor class are apparently making plans to return to their “homeland”. They are being welcomed with open arms by the Kremlin, because of course. This has triggered a lot of exasperated saber-rattling by the usual patriot commentators who are now openly asking, “what was it all for”? which I hadn’t seen them do before.

A morale-destroying turning point, perhaps.

Katyusha (Orthodox Conservatives, pro-Putin/Kremlin-critical) has been by go-to source to understand the sentiments of right-of-Kremlin conservatives. They are not thrilled about the good news that the rats are returning to the ship. They published an op-ed basically throwing in the towel on the SMO and their hopes of a Russian restoration. Here’s what they had to say:

They are not fighting for Sobchak, Pugacheva and Fridman.

Honestly, Rom, I simply don’t have the strength to comment (https://t.me/Alekhin_Telega/8501) on the “third coming” of Pugacheva. If she is accepted back after her words about [us being] serfs and slaves then it is an acknowledgment of the authorities’ agreement with the sentiment. If she is welcome here, then yes - they also consider us serfs and slaves.

Who is Pugacheva, you ask?

Ah, someone hasn’t been doing their homework! Busted!

See, I write these long background info essays so that I can link them in shorter pieces. Pugacheva is the old matriarch of the Russian music scene. She fled to Israel with her young husband at the beginning of the SMO. Here:

These people strike me as overblown gangsters with a low, criminal kind of cunning, not anything resembling vision or intelligence. They understand the codex of thieves and run the country by it, not much else.

Tired. Autumn probably is doing its thing. The spring-summer fuse has ended. Are we sorry for Donbass? Let's be honest, are you sure that they rebelled for the sake of a version of Ukraine, into which the Russian Federation is turning back into? For an ordinary miner, is there a difference between Kiev with the Dnepropetrovsk J*w Zelensky and Moscow with the Lvov J*w Fridman?

We talked about Fridman again the other day.

He’s coming back too. Peskov says that we shouldn’t refer to him as an oligarch coming forward. OK, I’ll call him a zhidogarch going forward then.

And then we will watch how 1917 is repeated, which also happened not because the Bolsheviks were strong, but because the patriots gave up and did not see the future of Russia with an elite who dreamed of a “Russian Republic” at Britain’s beck and call.

Rousing stuff. All in all, I hadn’t ever seen conservatives talking in such terms before. It used to be, “we can win this thing, but we need to get serious and be given the tools we need”. They were actually arguing for escalation into a Yes, War the whole time. Now we’re hearing “retreat to the countryside and watch Putin get hanged on TV” coming from them, which is alarming. I’ve interviewed the head editor before. He didn’t use to speak like this. He said that the patriots were still battling the traitors for the heart of the Kremlin. Black hats v white hats … you know the whole shtick by now, I bet.

But the griper was actually replying to a larger, original post talking about similar things from yet another patriot channel. Here:

And over the winter, Russia will have to fight hard, because Arestovich proposes to recognize the territories returned to Russia, by the time Ukraine joins NATO, as Russia’s.

Yes, Arestovich has once again started saying interesting things about secret negotiations. Who is Arestovich, you ask? Tsk tsk. Here:

In theory, Kiev could just give up on Donbass and then join NATO.

The fact of the matter is that Washington doesn’t want this outcome … yet. They will solidify their victory over Russia later with NATO membership, sure, but in the meantime, why not bleed the Slavlands as much as possible and get even more concession from the Kremlin? The real question is whether or not Putin’s Faustian deal with the CIA has finally run its course and whether they’re demanding his head for real now. I am starting to think that the West doesn’t really mind Putin, or at least, most of his government.

Although, the return of the Pugachevs, Friedmans and all the other anti-Russian evil spirits could have a very negative impact on the final results of the Northern Military District. There is no certainty that these traitors, whom the Peskovs are so happy about, will add motivation to the Russians to go to the front.

He is being sarcastic. This is almost as bad as Putin trading away Azov for his zhidogarch friend Medvedchuk, who may not actually be ethnically oligarchic, idk.

The state is rotting from the inside. And there was a chance to renew ourselves, to cut off all the rottenness, to start the processes of regeneration and renewal, but for some reason instead, we are again being given back all this rotting and stinking mass, which will continue to decompose Russia from the inside.

And again, when traveling to the front, we will hear a questioning phrase that baffles us: here we will do everything possible to win, but do those at the top want to win?! After Fridman and Pugacheva returned without complaints, it became even more difficult to answer.

Yes, I remember writing a whole series titled “The Great Russian Restoration” chronicling the flight of many ethnic subverters back to their pirate colony in Israel. I guess I can just dump all those essays into a virtual wastebasket.

Both these bloggers are also hinting that if the rats are returning to the ship, then negotiations must be scheduled to start soon as well. I think they’ve been ongoing, actually, and the results of these talks will just have to be formalized and announced once the zhidogarchs come to a new understanding on how the pie is to be divided.

To answer the original question posed by the conservative figure: “what was it all for?”

Well, it was a turf war between sometimes cooperating, sometimes competing gangs. As we get closer to the two year mark, they’ll start wrapping up the con. The elites know that the can basically get away with anything for the first two years coasting on emotional manipulation via the media. We have done nothing to prove them wrong. Our job as dissidents is to work to lower the reaction time. If we can it down to one or two months for the next hoax, we may have a shot.

But we aren’t out of the woods on this Ukraine war hoax yet.

Other bloggers will start claiming that Moscow secretly defeated the Anglo-Satanists and that the Not-War which didn’t even occur really which was a policing action so don’t be a nazi, was wrapped up because all objectives had already been achieved. Again, QAnon is the template — they claimed that Trump had won and locked up Hillary for months after the election, delaying any kind of popular resistance to the fait accompli with disinfo. I just want to point out just how different sentiments are within Russia in regards to this war (shock and disgust from patriots, apathy and dislike from normies, and sweating blood oaths to Yahweh to punish the Russian people further from the Liberals). Literally no one is happy about the state of the SMO. Even the people who still support Putin and think he is winning wish that it was going better. Wars need to be fought and won quickly before they come unpopular and the truth about the real reasons for the conflict come trickling out. This is a perennial truth and it applies to modern countries now as much as it did a century ago. Maybe even more because of social media and access to more information.
