I finally managed to get some reliable information on Syria from my usual Christian and liberal sources.

Rurik is right. The Assad and Mahlouf families spent 7 years looting the country and stashing money abroad. They did not share and became hated by everyone in Syria.

In particular the Syrian Army has not been paid for months and received only partial pay in the past years. That includes the Alawi and Druze units. Assad did not even bother to pay the regular wages to his best supporters ! The intelligence services were paid but could not share the loot. So no-one was to fight for Assad. He relied on Iran and the Hezbollah entirely. Even after the Hezbollah was mauled by Israel, Assad did not bother to pay his troops. A true xenocrat.

Russia pushed Assad to negotiate with Turkey but he refused. Then Russia negotiated with Turkey for its own interests. Russia stands to lose the bases in Syria but shall receive bases in the Lybia, most likely in Tobruk. Turkey stops supporting the government in Tripoli and allows Haftar with Russian support to win and rule Lybia; Haftar is also backed by Italy. Russia evacuated most personnel from the Syrian bases ahead of the attack. The Islamists that came in their vicinity are not allowed to attack Russians.

Turkey will conquer either directly or indirectly the northern part of Syria that borders them. Turks want to expel the Kurds and resettle the Syrian refugees there. That buffer zone under Turkish control will prevent Syrian Kurds from helping the Kurds in Turkey should they revolt again.

The two groups that are in focus are the HTC with 30'000 men and the Syrian National Army (SNA) with 50'000 men. HTC is financed by Qatar and run by a Saudi. The SNA is financed and equipped by Turkey. Both are under the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood and under the supervision of the MI5 and CIA. The MI5 recruited Jolani and set the HTC, formerly Al Nusra.

Everyone is happy that Assad is gone. That includes the Druze, the Alawi, and the Christians. The Christians have been allowed to reopen churches and worship in Idlib in the summer. It is believed that Russia asked the HTC to stop persecuting them as a condition for allowing Assad to fall.

Most of the Assad's army still stands. Some units have vanished, men and equipment. But most divisions are intact and stay put. Some troops, some intelligence officers, and some Baathists have moved east to the Kurds and are believed to join them. After all, they are nationalists with a socialist bend and have refused to fight each other.

Putin is not paying his fighters in the Kursk region either, they are expendable. I also believe Russia is sending all their old men to die so the Kremlin don't have to pay their pensions.

1. Wow, so much victim blaming when clearly this was all a pre-planned operation which commenced as soon as Russia entered Syria.

2. Turkey is Zato. What was there to negotiate with them over ?

3. Haftar is an obvious US stooge.

4. Various "minority" groups, including Christians are being killed right now. Women are being forced to wear the HIjab. Newly found freedom ?

Expand full comment

I do not understand the victim-blaming. The Coalition of Assad's army, Hezbollah, Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Iraki Shia Popular Mobilisation Units, and Wagner supported by the Russian Airforce managed to win partially by 2018. The USA reacted by imposing a horrific train of sanctions on Syria that effectively made the country autarkic. Instead of preparing the country life under autarky, Assad chose to enrich himself and his relatives by what amounts to plunder. He even disparaged his own army and neglected the Alawi, Druze, Christians, and Baathist Sunnis that supported his regime. A truly despicable behaviour.

The negotiations with Turkey included allowing Haftar to conquer Tripoli, where the government has been supported by Qatar with money and by Turkey with weapons and "advisors". Haftar is supposed to win the Lybian civil war and grant Russia a military in Tobruk.

" The Coalition of Assad's army, Hezbollah, Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Iraki Shia Popular Mobilisation Units, and Wagner supported by the Russian Airforce managed to win partially by 2018. "

The SAA was stopped by Putin when they were about to take Idlib and finish off that portion of the resistance. The US would've put sanctions on Syria either way, but at least a huge part of Syria would have been reclaimed and a concentrated enemy devastroyed . All stopped by Pootie.

" Assad chose to enrich himself and his relatives by what amounts to plunder. He even disparaged his own army and neglected the Alawi, Druze, Christians, and Baathist Sunnis that supported his regime. A truly despicable behaviour. "

We cant verify that claim, it could be true or not. However, when your nation is prevented from defending itself, by your own "ally", you tend to lose hope and cease caring. Once again, this is Putin's fault.

" Haftar is supposed to win the Lybian civil war and grant Russia a military in Tobruk. "

Haftar is a traitor that had lived near , and was supported by, the CIA . You think this guy is going to give Russia anything ?

As far as I remember, Idlib was an unofficial Turkish protectorate and a de facto concentration camp for djihadis. They were bussed there from nearly everywhere. You have a point that the SAA + Hezbollah + Revolutionary Guard could have attacked without Russian support in order to butcher the djihadis. But the Turks might have intervened directly as they had done in Afrin. Russia played a double game and did not support the coalised forces against Idlib. However Idlib was small and a properly organised SAA should have contained the djihadis.

Haftar has been financed by the Italians and has received Russian weaponry. So Russia is indeed involved there. The diplomatic games that Haftar plays are unknown to me. But several French and Lebanese Christian sources have mentioned the deal for Tobruk. Albeit some say that Jolani has promised to let Russia keep the bases. Let us see whether they and myself have fooled.

Expand full comment

Also, Russia airlifted 4000 IRG units back to Iran. Did they run away and refuse to fight also ? Those 4000 couldnt stop the 350 invading Aleppo ? What about the SAA units that were inexplicably transferred away from idlib recently. This situation is highly suspect.

" Putin then defended his armed forces’ conduct during recent events by claiming that Russia no longer had any ground troops in Syria. Moreover, the estimated 30,000 Syrian and “pro-Iranian units” that were defending Aleppo surrendered the city to just 350 militants, after which they gave up the rest of the country to them too with few exceptions. He also revealed that Russia evacuated 4,000 Iranian fighters to Tehran while other allied units fled to Lebanon (a reference to Hezbollah) and Iraq without a fight. "

Expand full comment

The problem for a ancient battlefield like Syria is that you only control garrisons which can be easily isolated and surrounded (starved out). 4000 men is really nothing. Fast area's are deserts too so you also need to stick to water sources and rivers. The Turks obviously have superior communications, drones and well trained fast moving jihadis. Assad's troops never really had a chance, if Putin was not weakened and humiliated in Ukraine everyone might have been thinking twice before launching this offensive. But we all see that Cucktin is in decline.

which says nothing about the components in the Kinzhal.

Further comments are "If indeed confirmed as Kinzhal rather than Iskander, this would mark the first successful interception of a Kinzhal."

And this: https://tinyurl.com/mr4xpxu6

" thus far a portion of the evidence for the interception is reliant on official announcements – taken by itself, the imagery shown so far is insufficient evidence that a Kinzhal missile was downed by PATRIOT. Fundamentally, there are two main problems which remain based on the photographs released at the time of writing:

All of the debris shown so far could belong to either a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal or a 9M723 Iskander.

The best evidence to definitively prove that it is Kinzhal would be the distinctive rear, which has a boat tail and two short-chord fins which are not present on the Iskander.

None of the debris displayed so far shows damage consistent with a SAM interception.

Proving this would require assembling more debris from the wreckage, to demonstrate the portions of the missile directly affected by the interception. As it stands, it is unclear if the missile was downed or crashed due to another cause, such as a guidance failure."

And:

"With a PATRIOT interception, there would be different evidence depending on the missile used. As the Pentagon leaks have revealed, Ukraine should have access to both the PAC-2 GEM-T (ATM1T) and the PAC-3 (ATM2) missiles.

In the case of a PAC-3 interception, one would typically expect catastrophic destruction from direct impact at high supersonic speeds between a PAC-3 missile weighing 312 kg and a Kinzhal estimated to be around 4,000 kg. Even with the weight of both roughly halved to account for expended propellant, at the two missiles’ terminal speeds, the PAC-3 would have a kinetic energy close to 200 megajoules, while Kinzhal would have a kinetic energy of over 2,500 megajoules. By way of comparison, the latter is several hundred times the kinetic energy of a modern APFSDS penetrator fired from a tank gun. Consequently, following a collision between these objects, one would expect there to be almost nothing left of the front of the Kinzhal. So far evidence of this has not been shown, but it is possible that the missile could have struck a portion of the Kinzhal which has not been shown so far. "

And the picture is of the front of what is reputed to be a Kinzhal with a five" hole in it. At no point in its flight is the Kinzhal traveling slowly enough for such an impact. It's almost al though someone found some wreckage and shot a tank round at it.

He also discussed how all of this evidence has been submitted to the UN many times, and gets vetoed every time by the US, because the US cannot refute the documentation.

Essentially, Kirillov found the paper trail proving that the US government, along with NGOs and oligarchs, created C19, and used it to generate trillions in profit for pharmaceutical companies via vaccine production, as well as advancing government overreach via emergency powers.

This is the reason they just killed him. He was trying to expose the biggest crime in human history.

Another explanation may lie in his recent video describing in detail the transactions between NATO countries and Ukraine involving various materials used in chemical weapons. "

"Zelenskyy appears to be a far more effective war leader than Putin." Yes I have been ruminating on this fact for some time now. It is amazing that the little coke sniffing comedian Jew money launderer has been so effective. He was supposed to run and set up a government in exile according to popular belief. He has stuck the course with tenacity and diligence. He has humiliated Putin , with help of course , and this latest assassination has boosted his status again. If Trump stabs him in the back he will find himself under some serious venom from Ukraine. Not that he is universally loved in Ukraine , no war leader is one hundred percent popular but I think most Ukys would support him. Now the homegrown Ukrainian ballistic missile has been tested and is in production ( if true ) the situation could escalate very quickly and a couple of those arriving vertically in Moscow at mach five might actually be the red line moment. Ukraine has lost some territory and suffered untold damage but I feel they will emerge from this a very different country with a major arms manufacturing industry in their kit. Ukraine's real potential has been unleashed , pity it had to happen this way. It is now a recognised country by the rest of the world and Zelensk's ovation in Paris recently left Trump with a surprised look on his face. With a GDP per capita of only $ 4000 it is one of the poorest countries in the East . Poland since joining the EU has lifted it's GDP per capita to $ 26000 while Russia still languishes at $ 15000 the same as Bulgaria the poorest member of the EU. Putin needs to look at these numbers and see that is why Eastern Europe is looking West. Georgia's GDP is only $6000 the same as Belarus. I was under the impression before the war that Russia was a very strong fully developed country but when I started look at the numbers that is not so. It seems to me that Putin has only enriched his elite supporters and economic production is still very low. One hundred and forty million Russians only produce $ 1500 each while Australian's twenty seven million people produce $ 56000 each. As for the nuke situation I think Zelensky and NATO would welcome one or two tactical nukes arriving in Ukraine. That would be the absolute end for Russia. The entire world except for NK will turn against them , India and China would suspend all oil trade immediately. Putin and Russia would be outcasts from the entire global community and Putin would go very quickly. So maybe that is the plan to to use the Uky ballistics to get Putin to finally respond with a nuke. The question is will it be a few tactical into Ukraine or blitz every major capital in the world? Surely the total blitz is a ridiculous over kill at the moment but Putin is being humiliated beyond anything his ego had ever imagined so that does make the situation very dodgy.

There is a common pattern here with the migrant flows into the US - and it becomes more obvious reading down into your article - almost if the indigenous population of the US/Russia is being replaced by migrants - and both the US and Russia are run by shadow governments - National Security States. And this common pattern can be seen in the UK and any other country - say, in Europe - which is run by a National Security State. And mandatory citizen/subject IDs, social credit schemes, and digital currencies - which can be given (and withdrawn) to accomplish state goals are all common features.

So my bet is that Moscow and Washington DC and London, et al, are being run by the same structure - which may be located in, say, Davos - and it's not Washington running Moscow...

Elon Musk before the last election said this may be the last real election in the US if Harris won.
