The True Losers of These Wars Are the Patriots, Of Course
We're still talking about Russia here, right?
When the SMO was first announced, 80%+ of Russians supported it. But, as the SMO quickly turned into an egregious farce, that support began to plummet as the betrayals and the incompetence led to more and more blood and destruction and revulsion. Last I checked, Russian public support for the SMO dropped to 60% sometime this summer.
I imagine it will take a while for it to get really low, though.
Just think about how long the American public supported the Zio-wars in the Middle East. It took a long time for the patriots to wake up to that con, no? To the Patriot Act? To amnesty for millions of Mexicans? To all the Muslims that were imported into America while southern boys were sent off to fight and die?
Frankly, I can’t imagine that there is a way to even accurately assess the public sentiment under the current circumstances of censorship and the looming threat of arrests that dissenters without powerful friends in the West face. I think we have have to look at other bell-weathers of public support to even try to make an informed guess.
Internet comments, like/dislike ratios, personal anecdotal data i.e., discussions with normie Russians and so on. Judging by those, it isn’t just me who is fed up, let me tell you. Case-in-point: I am in a circle of podcasters and streamers who cover the news around the SMO. Publicly, they keep up a brave face. Privately, they say that support and even interest in the SMO has cratered. But you don’t have to believe me though, I’m just sharing.
But let’s put speculation aside and try to be as objective as possible with this essay going forward.
As things stand now, Russia has been dealt a deadly wound and a giant weeping gash is now bleeding out on Russia’s borders. This is undeniable. Meanwhile, within Russian society, the Kremlin is pushing an aggressive “de-Russification” policy. Also a fact that can only be disguised with pilpul-tier rhetoric like, “anybody can be a Russian, you Nazi!” Patriots have been arrested and the oligarchs who fled to Israel are being welcomed back to Moscow with open arms. Again, no lie detected.
So, what is a patriot to do?
I’m certainly guilt of “dooming” i.e., telling the truth about the SMO since it morphed into a Not-War by the fall of last year. It has steadily only gotten worse for Russia on all fronts and by any objective measure that doesn’t involve interdimensional messianic end times chess. But I’ve never argued for calling it quits on the SMO before.
My logic was simple: regardless of how poorly the war was being prosecuted, the geopolitical necessity for dealing with Kiev wasn’t going anywhere. Zelensky’s (NATO’s) plans to “create an Israel on Russia’s borders” had to be stopped. Look at how the real Israel is treating the real Palestinians. This is the fate envisioned for Russia and it has to be resisted by any means necessary.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t. It was allowed to happen. The worst-case scenario is here now. The towers fell, Powell dangled his pants lint at the UN, the Middle East is on fire and there are some Israelis having a dance party.
Parallels — we’re making them, folks.
Honing in on New Khazaria though, anti-Russian politicians were supported and promoted by Washington AND Moscow in Ukraine for years. The intelligence services of both the West and Russia created Neo-Nazi death squads. The oligarchs were allowed to run roughshod over the Ukrainian peasantry, making a Maidan inevitable. These oligarchs were close friends of Moscow just as much as they were agents of Israel and the West. So, the problem was created by the people trying to fix the problem. Who funded Saddam again? And, then, finally, the SMO that was ostensibly done to fix the problem that these people created was a catastrophe … or a resounding success depending on how you look at it, I suppose.
Russia has been unable to secure any of her stated or unstated objectives. They lost staggering quantities of soldiers and equipment. The illusion of a strong Russian military vanished in a poof of smoke, just like all the money allocated for the military in the first place. Moscow suffered an actual honest-to-god mutiny, which we are supposed to pretend didn’t happen, remember? All of Russia’s allies turned on her (except True Korea, ofc). Iraq looks like a success story compared to this fiasco, quite frankly. Although an even worse Afghanistan scenario is still a distinct possibility for Moscow with Donbass.
And things are only going to get worse as the jackals circle in around Russia now.
In Ukraine, the SMO has made everything far far worse by several orders of magnitude and Ukraine is more militarized than it ever was before. Nor are they a “brotherly” nation anymore, but actually the equivalent of a South Korea to Russia; a once united people torn apart by ideology and Washington’s meddling. At least from the Russian perspective that is.
Israel or Korea though, it doesn’t matter — Zelensky and NATO have achieved their goal of creating an offensive military base and splitting millions of Russians in Ukraine off from their own people.
So, having lost the vast majority of Ukrainians and having failed to secure the military objectives of the SMO and not being able or willing to take the necessary measures to win this war or even to act like they are in a war, it begs the question … which, I don’t want to even ask the question because it is a dangerous question to ask. If I were in Russia, and if I wasn’t under the protection of a powerful oligarch, asking the question would probably see me getting a visit by the feds. No, I don’t think I am exaggerating. But fine, whatever, I’ll just ask the damn question that everyone is starting to think:
Is there any point to continuing the special policing action against Neo-Nazi elements to save the fraternal socialist nation of Ukraine?
And: what is a patriot to do?
Are they to march dutifully to be blown to bits on the frontlines? Well, they been doing so willingly, albeit for their own reasons for almost two years now. They did it because they believe in a united historic Russia. Or for democracy and freedom and human rights values in the Middle East (or something). I believe in the same unification ideal and the reason why I believe in it is because I wanted to avoid such a bloodletting which was certain to occur eventually if reunification was not effected. It was always the intention of NATO to turn the people of Ukraine into cannon-fodder against Russia. Everyone understood this, and it was talked and warned about since the initial break-up. The Kremlin knew this too, and routinely arrested patriots who worked to prevent such a scenario from occurring and who were willing to put their necks by speaking out and taking “active measures” to prevent this tragedy from occurring.
Like Limonv, for example. You should really take the time to read and understand what the founder of the NazBols, Dugin’s old partner, lived and worked for.
But the Kremlin hates hates hates Russian patriots.
The whole reason why Putin was put into power by Finklestein, Kissinger and Yeltsin was because he was a pro-Western Liberal tasked with making Russia NWO compliant. Saddam was tasked with destroying Iran by the US. Parallels abound. But for a while, it seemed like Putin was “Russifying” and become less of a “Putlet” and more of a “Putler” willing to reassert Russia’s state interests and reunite carved off territories and put down uppity non-Russian secessionists. Didn’t Saddam fire off some missiles at Tel-Aviv? Right before he led his army into a trap in Kuwait and let it get annihilated in Desert Storm?
Hmm.
Actually, I was prompted to write this essay as a response to the latest development in the Kadyrov scandal. Here:
Previously, Kadyrov’s son had been gifted a state award by the governor of Tatarstan for beating up a defenseless teen. That was already yet another slap in the face, and my skin was still smarting from it when I heard that the fat-faced little bastard was given yet another award:
At the Russian Special Forces University, a private educational institution in Gudermes, 15-year-old Adam Kadyrov was awarded the Order of Labor Valor of Russia. Chechen Minister for National Policy and External Relations Akhmed Dudayev announced this on hisTelegram channel on Friday, November 17. According to him, the award ceremony took place as part of an event organized by representatives of the NGO “Labor Valor of Russia.”
In fact, we are talking about awarding an honorary badge to a public organization. Is it easy to get a beautiful, order-like honorary badge “Labor Valor of Russia” and what does it give to the owner, Fontanka found out.
A chest full of medals and the prodigy is only 15! Don’t you feel jealous? What is your excuse for not going out and achieving as much as Adam Kadyrov? A brilliant career as a spook dedicated to torturing Islamophobes in Russia awaits this young man. Praise be to Allah! Praise be to Yahweh!
But Adam is not the only one to be showered with medals for essentially being a thug. The Putin government is routinely mocked for just throwing around award willy-nilly to oligarchs and spook bosses. But that’s not even the worst of it. Shoigu is notorious for just making up honors and medals and then awarding them to himself.
This is like a Sacha Baron-Cohen skit playing out in real time, again.
But it isn’t just Saddam or Ghadaffi that this criticism applies to.
Remember: Russia is run by a xenocracy. It is a coalition of almost everybody except Russians at the top. Azerbaijani oligarchs, ethnic Bolshevik TV presenters, Chechen hitmen, Tuvan defense ministers and so on.
Diversity is the Kremlin’s strength. But it is the yoke around the Russian people’s neck. That is, the elite use diversity to grind down the Russian people and keep them out of power with a coalition of the non-Russian. They are telling the truth when they whine all the time about how tolerant and diverse they are to the West. Believe them on this point when they brag about it just like how I believe Bush when he said that his worst moment in the presidency was when Kanye West said he didn’t care about black people in New Orleans.
These people live, breathe, and shit diversity. Truly.
So, what is a patriot to do?
You know, a lot of people seem to think that Putin is smart. If he was smart, why does he constantly make gaffs and whine about how he is getting tricked all the time. Why, just the other day, we had this:
Putin (…) now stated:
“Many people, like me, did not even think about the possibility of a conflict developing between Russia and Ukraine until 2014.”
This is, as they say, a Freudian slip.
In 2014, Putin said: “A kind of conflict,” i.e. a war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, is possible. But, instead of moving to prevent the junta from fortifying itself in power, Putin recognized [the maidan government] and then signed the treacherous Minsk agreement with it. Now the ingenious decisions of this ingenious geopolitician are being corrected with the blood of Russian and other Russia-dwelling people.
Yet another confession.
He says self-contradictory stuff like this literally all the time. Putin’s strategy has LITERALLY been to play dumb for the last two years. Him and his cabinet, frankly. They must have weighed their options and realized that his only rhetorical escape route from the absolute failure that they have foisted on the Slavlands is to pretend to be retarded.
This probably works to a certain extent because it makes him more relatable.
See, most people are also retarded, so they nod along in agreement when Putin confesses that everyone fools him all the time and that he is the victim, really, because that is what happens to them all the time too. Putin says that he just “couldn’t even dream of this occurring” or “they lied to me” and yeah, it actually does work to a certain extent, so I can see why he does it.
