It's a stupid conflict, pushed by human trash, and a lot of people have died for the hubris of fools.

Does the Rand report explain why the US has INTENTIONALLY built up China to be the best enemy $$$ can buy? In the West Coast town where I live we are being swarmed by Chinese commies who are being let in by using the so called EB5 program which allows any Chinese person to buy property here if they spend about $1/2M and supposedly work to improve the property in some way....so if we go to war with Chinese they will already have many entrenched people here to spy on us poor Amerikans...plus Macron was allowing the Chinese army to use Canada to train in cold weather fighting...nothing makes any sense except the notion that behind the scenes all the major powers are working together again all of us poor saps

I can’t see these as signs that the west will really back off in Ukraine. It’s just going too well for the US. Aid to Ukraine is not draining the US:; as long as the dollar is the international reserve currency (and that’s not going to change any time soon) it can print as much as it likes and send it to Ukraine and Europe. It’s possible they may want to try and involve the Russians in interminable negotiations that will further sap the will of the Kremlin and maybe lead to a deal very detrimental for Russia,.

What could cause the US to really back off? There are several factors:

1. RF starts fighting in earnest – to win. First sign of this will be destruction of the Dnieper bridges. What’s the likelihood? – probably about zero with the current leadership in the Kremlin.

2. The populists won fairly big in the US midterms and Trump wins in 2024. The first didn’t happen and the second won’t either – no matter how much Trump sucks up to the Rinos, they will help the Dems scupper him.

3. Mass anti-war movements and discontent in Europe. There are some signs of this but nothing serious yet. It would have to be really major and no sign of that yet.

4. The US decides to really gun for China. That’s possible but why right now – the war in Ukraine is going very nicely for them and the biggest gain they could get against China in the short term would be to collapse Russia, and that could still happen. The Ukrainians will be launching big offensives when the spring thaw is over, and the Poles are just raring to go. All they need is for the US to take the leash off.

Almost a year later, the bridges still stand over the Dnepr river.

This is madness, the Kremlin complains about weapons transfer, and actually does pretty little to prevent the tanks etc to arrive in eastern Ukraine.

My view is this, you can't fight a war, that is like choreographed and highly scripted reenacting WWII battles. Absurdly, Russia runs a Barbarossa 2.0 while fighting allegedly "nazis", and the west calls the Kremlin "nazis" but for wrong ideologically warped reasons.

Quite frankly, this is a Chosenite mess, which Russians, Ukrainians, and Europeans will pay for, while the international travelers earn from the death and destruction.

The recent mild criticisms of the Ukraine war from some establishment think tanks and whoever probably mean that some of our overlords are having doubts that victory can be secured outright under the present strategy. Like Ive mentioned before Zog is also operating within its own ideological constraints.

We hyper focus here on everything that Russia is doing wrong because its more interesting and someone needs to smack down the "pro Russian"5D crowd. But even Strelkov himself acknowledges that the West is also not winning due to its competence and strength but because of Russias corruption and incompetence. I mean its not actually impossible that Russia could hold the line and seriously bleed NATO dry equipment wise. People say "well what about how America wants Europe to buy American stuff so it's American 5D chess"? Well this goes back to Americas ideological constraints, that would require America being able to mass produce high end gear but that ship has sailed for America to. Just like with Russia the infastructure and expertise isnt there anymore and if anything this problem is more acute for America.

Perhaps some jews are thinking that at this rate stopping Russia may seriously undermine Americas ability to take on China later. Maybe there are some jews and think tankers who really are looking for a way to freeze the conflict, and Russia is so cucked they might take it.

This absolutely in no way would be a Russian victory and simply gaining the current front line would be a worse peace than the one Lenin signed off on to get out of WW1 but its not unrealistic given the craven nature of Russias elites and its not unfeasible that some in the US elite would be willing to settle for just humiliating Russia as opposed to outright destroying her right now.

Don't get me wrong, the goal is destroying Russia. But there is a reasonable chance that some of our overlords see getting Russia to settle for a shameful peace and than taking out China as the most optimal way to finish both Russia and China for good. Again this all depends on just how much NATO is being bled vs how much the US can make good these losses. Printing shekels alone doesnt cut it here, ZOG needs to seriously be able to produce high end weapons faster than Russia is wrecking them. Presumably ZOG could set up shop in Eastern Europe and have that relatively uncucked, decent IQ, low paid work force churn out the high end weapons. But the plan is to actually de-industrialize Europe....so..its a catch 22.

As a said on the last article its a matter of whether its going to be the US elite or Russian elite that cock blocks their countries victory the most. If its simply a matter of mathematical certainty that Russia is actually destroying Western stocks and gear at a rate faster than they can be produced than its within the realm of possibility that Western influencial people are worried that this war is lessening the odds of being able to bring China to heel. Or hell even Iran or North Korea for that matter.

This doesn't mean anything really about Russias chances of making big gains in Ukraine, they also have this same problem of not being able to produce what they need without shattering the elites ideological bubble. Its just that Zog is way more globally aggressive than Russia with bigger ambitions and their inability to produce like they could back in the day is even more acute.

My guess is that there are two wings to the American Empire's so called strategy.

1. A tribe that really, really hates Russia and can't unfocus on their emotional need to destroy Russia

2. The rest who crave war with China sooner rather than later.

There is overlap between the two with some reluctantly defecting from group 1 and moving to 2.

The second group realizes that we cannot fight wars against two major powers at one time (reality is we cannot win against even one at a time). So, they want to move onto China now. They better hope that China is willing to continue to supply us with the parts we need for the missiles to shoot at them

Welp, that was me who left the comment. Glad you remembered it.

"The right is happiest when it is optimistic. The left is happiest when they are trying to stop the Armageddon du jour. So while the left is waving its pride or Ukrainian flag while eating bugs so that we all don't die from climate change, the right is convinced some major victory is just around the corner so no need to worry."

I keep getting the feeling that no one on either side wants to actually win. Change my mind.

Ukraine is being wrecked as a country. There is talk that Poland is already making plans to annex the western section. It’s obvious, as you say , Ukraine aka NATO proxy can’t win. It’s obvious killing Slavs down to the last Ukrainian is an objective. You have pointed out it is just poor men who can’t afford to pay to be taken off the constrict list that are being killed though. But I do hear even not so stupid Ukrainians believe in continuing a losing battle anyway. Useless deaths for the peasant side. You have written there are lots of men remaining there and no military wants to totally wipe out the entire male population of a country. However in light of Eastern Europe population transfers and ethnic cleansing during and after WW II, I wonder if that is true.

How big is the ethnic, nationalistic group who wants to continue the fight and willing to die for it remaining in Ukraine ? There were maybe 40 - 60 percent in Eastern Ukraine that were pro-Russian? Why do so many Slavs hate Russia? Is it grievance and anger from the Soviet days or hating modern Russian oligarchs more than western elites? Please comment on these questions.

What do you think of the chances of a major Russian offensive to coincide with the one-year anniversary of the invasion? Might certain factions in the west be positioning themselves to pivot in the event of a significant Russian advance?

Wrt the most recent Girkin Says; misplaced for an obvious reason.

💬 Backroom deals to keep Russian oligarchs satisfied take a backseat to military objectives and soldiers’ lives. 🤔

Looks like a variant of could care less 😇

"This also indicates how our moral dispositions--courage, sympathy, cooperation for the good of society--might have been shaped by competition in war. We evolved to cooperate with people in our group in order to compete with others outside our group.

This evolutionary origin of morality in war is confirmed by the Bible, because Mosaic morality was shaped by the need to cooperate in war (see Deuteronomy 20:10-20, 30:15-20)."

Women being the subject of public morality is more a symptom of a disarmed/dismantled society.

You cannot have personal/private property & then a public discussion on its disposition.

Have you seen this? https://hurseda.net/gundem/246987-iddia-mossad-a-gore-ukrayna-ve-rusya-kayiplari.html

157,000 dead, 234,000 injured and 17,230 captive Ukrainians. Allegedly according to MOSSAD.

That would be a total of 408,230 Ukrainian soldiers eliminated.

No idea reputable is "Hürseda Haber".

Ukraine will lose, the question is only if the whole of NATO goes up in nuclear flames along with it.

But this is a protracted war of attrition and probably 1-2 more years to conclusion.

Tsk.. would the lukewarm criticism of the Russian military effort expressed in this post be a token for signalling your puny rebellion against the pro-Russian gospel dominant in the alt-media blogosphere?

Now I don't want to boast I am the most disrupting of the bourgeoisie or anything but on this regard, I have actually started to watch some pro-Ukrainian analyst on youtube. For instance here this guy faking an Eastern accent claims the siege of Bakhmut is really an Ukrainian trap to bleed out Russians and force them to abandon their momentum, that would enable them to further advance in the Donbass, because of the need to recover and reorganize after the big effort to take that town, as it happened after Lisichansk, the summer stasis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQTkaJsqJGs

Also, the CNN turns out to actually be a source for great info: take this interview with a Ukrainian front line Bakhmut defender possessing surprisingly fluent English skills: https://youtu.be/8RGsTY_aXwI?t=209 In the video he reveals what the Wagner frontal assault tactics are really like: a series of human waves, each advancing a few meters and then digging in, providing cover for the next wave, who do the same, overall progressively inching their way towards the enemy position. Believable.
