How to save European civilization? The answer is quite simple... we go to Hellas. The Abrahamic faiths are just perversions of Greek religion and philosophy. Platonic theocracies that began with the Jewish priests who repurposed Hellenic teachings to create Judaism at the library of Alexandria.
Return to our civilizational roots... we have authority over the Abrahams
Not one quoted source present. Thanks for, you know, due diligence and informational integrity (I wont insult you by calling you a journalist).
On a nationalist note, I'm deeply saddened that Putin has not risen up and embraced the opportunity to truly protect his people. Oligarchies are just evil. So many Slavic lives slaughtered for nothing. NAFO wont negotiate, although Xi may visit Zelensky but I dont trust the Chinese (more oligarchy). So what happens when the Ukies do the Big Arrow move and negate most of the SMO gains?
He got a Boomer mind virus. Thats what his columns read like now. I liked his social commentary and his take on Lagos-on-the-Chesapeake. Lack of any spirituality may be a problem too. Boomercon analysis always embraces Enlightenment thinking, leaving it one dimensional and tiresomely inaccurate. Zman is still wrapped up in Isms.
The Ukraine position is tenuous amassing too many resources on the wrong side of the bridges that could be blown at any time.
I don't believe any of this Russian news, don't believe any anti-Russian news either, but who hell am I to say sitting here on my ass in the middle of a protected area?
The video with the Russians complaining about the DNR/LNR commanders Im not sure about. Its true that all the doomers signed on on it being legit and Murz claims to even know what the unit is. The only dissenter Ive come across is Sanya, granted he isn't in with the DNR/LNR old school doomers like Strelkov and Murz as he is in Florida but he says he has sources on the ground in the Russian army and I trust him as he hasn't given any reason not to and his front takes dont include any 5D. But heres his take:
In short some of the guys in the video look close enough like Ukrainians from Kiev and Krivoi Rog to throw some reasonable doubt on the video being 100% on the up and up. Of course I also tend to take Murz seriously as well so my personal tin foil theory to reconcile this is that Ukrainians used willing Russia prisoners in the video but they couldn't get enough so they threw in some local extras. If Murz has sources saying yeah that one guy is from this or that unit according to so and so it doesn't automatically follow that his source knows that that guy is a prisoner by now. Maybe thats a weak theory and I dont think Murz is a liar but Sanya pointing out that the guys in the video have Ukrainian doppelgangers is... well it be like it do I guess.
If the video is 100% true its basically a sign of impending doom. It would mean that even the lower level leadership on the Russian side is just as morally rotted out as the Ukrainian side. The Ukrainians can mitigate this much more effectively than the Russian side though. The Ukrainians willingness to mobilize every last dude they can kidnap off the streets means they will never be lacking for fresh meat to spam at the Russians. The Ukrainians can also break up units and spread the men elsewhere where the corruption is so bad that a unit cant even function.
The Russians on the other hand have a much more severe constraint on manpower and they can't disband and spread the manpower without leaving gaps in the front. Ukraine is basically in a much better position to deal with corruption in the lower levels of the military than the Russians. The more realistic pro Russians where hoping that better men on the lower levels could mitigate somewhat the appalling bad leadership from above, at least enough for Russia to avoid total defeat. But if this video is a true diagnosis for how bad things are even at the lower levels than that hope is unjustified.
Its a huge bummer to see everyone converging with Strelkov, even people that hate him. Bentley has always been a Khodakovskyite and thus a Strelkov hater but he is totally caughten up to Strelkov anyway. Prigozhin was mocking and trolling Strelkov a few months ago but he sounds just as gloomy lately. The way these guys all hate eachother is entertaining but its also pretty sad as I sort of wonder what they might be able to do if they were on the same page enough to present some of kind of united front. Probably their mutual hatred and self sabotage is what keeps FSB from killing them.
No offense, but why trust Sanya? I stopped following him months ago. Genuinely curious.
Yeah, I'd like to ask bentley why he likes Khodakovsky. I know the guy also believes in sputnik v and hates slavsquat for reporting negatively on it. Strange positions to take.
Also, I saw Grey Zone and others going hard on Sanya calling him an idiot and showing proofs that the soldiers were from Russia.
But hey, who knows. It does seem to match up with anecdotal evidence and stories that i've heard.
Sanya just does decent front updates imo and when stuff goes bad for Russia he is honest about it. As a general very basic bitch source he is solid imo. If I don't want to spend hours reading my doomer feed Ill just watch Sanyas 24 hour update. He is like a less autistic Rybar I guess. I can see someone not thinking he is worth following but what makes you think he is untrustworthy exactly? To my knowledge he hasn't been caught lying or making any way off predictions.
I remember the Grey Zone guys offered proof that the one of the guys was russian but they didn't show that Sanya was wrong about the guys he pointed out. Thats what I remember at least but im willing to be corrected. The whole thing is weird.
Bentley simultaneously thinks the pandemic was fake (correctly) and Sputnik is good (lolwut). He also doesn't like that slavsquat is skeptical of the SMO while simultaneously saying Russias elite are traitors and incompetent. Funny guy but I think his heart is in the right place.
I am almost at a "too bad they can't both lose" point. But that would be win for the neocons. I can barely believe my eyes - but I think that's what's up ahead. Ukr has already lost - even 1991 boundaries with a smashed nation and populace is not a win. Only question is what is Russia prepared to risk not to lose. And it was supposed to be a splendid little war! It almost never is.
"Creating all these private feudal armies is a bad idea because the war will then expand into Russia proper" Precisely! It's called warlordism.
A Serbian journalist, Miodrag Zarkovic, for Helmcast TV is in the Donbass currently, & he interviewed a few Serbian volunteer soldiers who were prepared to go on camera (because the treasonous "Serbian" government of A. Vucic is criminally prosecuting Serbian citizens who have fought for the L/DNR), the Serbian soldiers have fought in many actions on many fronts & they paint a very different picture from the one painted here - & they are not bullshitters or attempting to gloss everything, they talk opnely of difficulties, problems etc. but they paint a radically different scenario. Some one who has been there longer, since 2014, is Dejan Beric - if you consider Russel Bentley "Tehass" a credible source of opinion - then Dejan Beric is an impeccable source. Incidentally, as an aside, Beric was with the original Strelkov group who retreated from Slavyansk, Beric once viewed Strelkov with staunch admiration, he now openly states that Strelkov is a traitor who is in some capacity working directly or indirectly for the west. Beric was very critical of how the SMO was commandeered in the early days, he went into detail about all the various issues & problems, which according to him, have been gradually addressed, some factors better than others. Beric also paints a very different picture from the one presented here, radically different, in short, he would negate everything that is claimed here, point for point. For those interested, check him out, but you need to speak Serbian - he does some Russian commentary as well.
I wish I had time to write a longer comment, but I don’t at the minute, basically Beric is cautiously optimistic – emphasis on cautiously, with regard to the situation on the front at the moment, where there are major battles taking place all along the line of contact (1,000+km) & Bakhmut & Adeevka are being encircled. The progress in Adeevka is going quite fast now & command has actually ordered Russian soldiers to slow down & proceed with caution, so as to avoid being caught in ambushes & traps. This was happening a lot in the early days according to Beric due to idiot, corrupt & criminal commanders sending Russian troops in storming actions so that they could gain the glory & advance themselves off the sacrifice of their forces. Essentially what happened in Ugledar with Muradov recently was happening frequently early on, but this, plus chronic supply issues have been largely resolved since the high command integrated & Surovikin was brought in. Beric talks about the Ukranians amassing thousands of troops for their upcoming offensive, many foreign mercenaries among them apparently, but is confident that they will be repelled, as their situation is increasingly desperate. I could add a lot more, but let us wait & see, if Ukraine/NATO scores a major victory, this will have serious repercussions for the Kremlin & Putin personally. If it doesn’t go Ukraine/NATO’s way – well, there will be much to discuss from the realist/pessimist perspective & exactly what reliable information it was based on. We’ll see. Also, for those interested, Beric has a video where he met in Moscow with a deputat of the Duma, I think someone on the armed forces committee or whatever they call it & it is in Russian – in that video Russian speakers can see what kind of problems & issues Beric raises with the deputat with an emphasis on a critique aimed at the Kremlin for how this war is being managed, or mismanaged, depending on your point of view. He is much more optimistic than he was, & he definitely knows what is going on, which doesn’t mean he is 100% right, but his assessments in the past have been very reliable.
Oh, there’s something else that is a bit off topic but as I mentioned Serb journno Miodrag Zarkovic, it relates to the Azov Battallion/Regiment. Zarkovic went & toured Azov’s main HQ in Mauriopol following its capture, a very posh hotel type complex they had occupied since setting up there. Now all over the place, there were pictures of portraits of Bander, Sukevich, & literature relating to SS Galicia of a very glossy production level. The point is, there has been discussion here about Azov’s roots & there non-Banderite origins - & that may be so, I’m familiar with the stories of them originating from Kharkov’s FC hooligan gangs & whatnot, but, if that is all true, then they evolved in to something else over time, & it is clear that they evolved into a vampiric Banderite SS Galicia, maybe under SBU direction/influence. I would urge anyone interested to watch that video, whether you know Serbian or not, just look at the literature & portrait pictures on the walls, & symbology all over this place, it is Banderite in the extreme. So if they did not start out that way, by the time they set up shop in Mauriopol in 2015/16, they were totally consumed by Banderite ideology.
You'll have to roll through it to find his Russian language stuff, I don't have time at the minute - not being funny, I genuinely don't. But you should be able to make sense of it & find the relevant stuff. He has a telegram channel, but I don't go on there, so I have no clue, but apparently he posts a lot of material. He's regularly on the front line, & training snipers, & collecting Serb volunteers from the airport, so he's very active & up to date. I'm not saying he is right about everything, but I do take him very seriously. I take Rolo seriously, even though I don't agree with some, not alot. but some of his takes.
What's fascinating is thst anti-imperialist "independent" US media "sings doom and gloom" about how poorly the US is doing in its proxy war against Russia. These Western commentators seem to believe Russian mainstream media news. However, in Russia the opposite seems to be the case, as Russian independent sources are saying Russia is being defeated by NATO. Pick your reality. In any event, it is a very oddly fought war, maybe that's why it's called a Special Military Operation:
"The bridges were left untouched so that exports could continue to flow through to the Satanic West and oligarchs’ losses minimized."
SMO just harnessed the disastrous tendencies that predated it—and then floored the gas. Is it too anti-doomerist to assume we’ve reached the Peak Stupidity, implying the inevitable course heading downslope?
Re the interview/rant: Putin can't go forward, he can't go back. There doesn't seem to be anyone around whom he could appoint to do a better job. Personal incentives are all venal, when morale and patriotism are what's needed. Anybody home?
This raises a broader question. If the political/military situation really is like WWI, as Russell sees it, with heavy use of artillery and an increasingly disgruntled army, then a revolution seems to be down the road. But who in the halls of Russian power is both capable of doing a better job, as well as actually grasping power? Putin might have carried this as far as it was possible when he ascended in the late 90's.
But is there anyone who would do better politically, especially in the middle of what would become a Tsunami of western money that would make the support given by western banks to the communists in WWI look like a splash?
Putin may be the best Russia has: if he's stuck, who is capable of getting Russia unstuck?
I'll reiterate my own prediction: the corrupting incentives on both sides is cementing a stalemate that's going to hold for a very long time.
thanks for this. big thanks. i've been lamenting for a long long time that i can't find any real news. just opinion pieces based on some news article. this is very authentic it seems to me - that video certainly - and exactly what i want to see. though the content is disheartening and disappointing. I hope to god Putin has the smarts and friends enough to learn this truth and fix it....
this could even foretell the whole collapse of Russia I think, at worst, couldn't it..? awful...
The phony war set up by WEF benefits China. China is the WEF model for governance. Hybrid Capitalism without a human face. Long ago the idea was raised by Anatoliy Golitsyn.
He wrote a book in 1984 titled New Lies for Old. In that book he predicted the collapse of the communist bloc. He said this collapse would be deceptive and it would be orchestrated from above. There can be no doubt on this point: the long-range strategy of the communist bloc is real, and not a paranoid fiction. We know about it from defectors like the Czech general, Jan Sejna. It wasn't only Golitsyn who warned the West. We have heard similar statements, as well, from Vladimir Rezun and Col. Stanislav Lunev. The communist bloc strategy is predicated on the development of deceptive changes (perestroika) in communist bloc countries. These changes began in the late 1980s, as foretold by Golitsyn in his 1984 book. And these changes were, as he predicted, directed from the Kremlin according to a well-worked out plan. Without an understanding of Soviet clandestine methods -- methods that were developed over a period of seventy years -- it is impossible to understand the grand sweep of Russian and Chinese moves today. This kind of strategy is alien to Western thinknig. In essence, despite the changes that occurred in 1989-91, the old communist bloc still exists. Only the label has been removed, and the iron hand now fits inside a velvet glove. These communist countries are weak countries, predicated on terror, oppression and war. They can only hope to succeed against America and the West by deceptive means, by the pretense of peace and democratic reform. In reality, they are building their military power in secret, working with criminal groups and terror groups through intermediaries. They seek to economically cripple the United States, diplomatically isolate America and destroy the foundations of American military power. All of this is made possible by a broad-based, long range deception strategy. If they achieve their objectives the world will belong to the communists who continue to consolidate their grip in Africa, South America, Europe and Asia. Golitysn's predictive methodology successfully anticipated the changes in Eastern Europe; he foretold the advent of the Russia-China alliance and the present campaign against "American imperialism." We can ill-afford to ignore this methodology when it has successfully anticipated so many crucial developments. Even if Golitsyn has made mistakes, his basic approach is an invaluable tool for understanding the grand strategy of Russia and China, and whoever ignores Golitsyn's warnings is making a potentially grave error.
Khazars honestly are a red herring. A type of civilization exists unthinkable in human history until French Revolution. The reason the situation is so bad is the death of God. Vous n'avez ni foi ni loi, ni dieu ni maître. Without faith or law, lord or master.

And in a recent article Pepe Escobar says russia is humiliating NATO lmao
Anybody here knows what "Mup Yepes May" means?
Asking for a friend. His Russian is bit rusty.
thanks for this. big thanks. i've been lamenting for a long long time that i can't find any real news. just opinion pieces based on some news article. this is very authentic it seems to me - that video certainly - and exactly what i want to see. though the content is disheartening and disappointing.

So verbose yet you failed to mention the Khazars even one time. Back to the drawing board sir.
Khazars honestly are a red herring. A type of civilization exists unthinkable in human history until French Revolution. The reason the situation is so bad is the death of God. Vous n'avez ni foi ni loi, ni dieu ni maître. Without faith or law, lord or master.
Is it even a "local government site"? Looks more like a volunteer organization that is funded by donations
